Comment: Unexpected win for me this time. The car wasn't very balanced for qualify , and although I knew my race car felt better , I wasn't very sure what would be the outcome.

Qualify 1 was pretty much what I expected , I wasn't as competitve as before, but qualify 2 came as a bit surprising, as the car felt so unstable I couldn't believe it. So I started from 5th thanks to the 2 ash cars who had penalties. Thankfully my start helped me to jump into 2nd place and the overtake on Ondrej later helped me to win this race. Last stint was ok for me , I had Roy behind me for a good ammount of seconds and could have pushed more if I needed to, but didn't want to make mistakes. Let's see Turkey now, have good memories from last year.

Comment: Finally podium but I still can`t be happy. Qualification was a disaster so 3rd place and even 2nd after penalty of Lapchin was really surprising. I managed a good start again and I took lead followed by Bruno. I had in my mind mistake from Bahrain but also I knew Bruno couldn`t overtake me so I was trying to take it easy, I mean really easy, especially the first stint. Thnx to later pitstops I stayed in the lead but after half of the race I made a small mistake at entry of 2nd part of the last chicane and Bruno got way too close. I was dumb enough not to put more boost like he did and when I wanted to go to inside Bruno was already there. Easy overtake but as Roy thinks I didn`t let him pass. I would never do that as I lost my win there most probably. Roy passed me because of his perfect 2nd pitstop while I lost lot of time calculating fuel i needed. So I was driving on P3 without chance to pass Roy, obviously, so I put boost 1 and was doing mid 20`s. I can be happy with the podium but looking at my practice pace comparing to the race I was way too slow and careful but maybe its good and doing all work alone doesnt help either at all. Once again congratulation to Bruno and Roy it`s really tough to beat these guys but I`ve got some confidence so I will try harder next time.

Comment: P4 today, more happy than disappointed obviously. Took the best out of Q1 and 2, even though the track time was 9 am as Bruno said, and made it into top 3 grid for the first time, so hopefully I got rid of the monkey on my back at qualifyings. Then typically what happens when you qualify well, the worst start of the season occurs, so I was lucky that cars behind didn't crash into me. From there the race started again at P6, but there was no way to overtake with this top speed without others' mistakes, which luckily for me happened to Eny. Got past Keersmaekers in the pits and after De Wit had retired in front, I just had to keep Blair behind, which I had miserably failed at in many 2007 races due to his cunning strategies. This time my pure pace was luckily enough, and in the end the top 3 wasn't too far away either, so with a better start things could have possibly been different. Anyway, a good five points at a cruel track, so moving on to Turkey with confidence.

Comment: Finally a good result for me! I'd like to thank Yan for his help. I did qualify higher but had a penalty, as did Yan and others, so started 9th. Got a good start, then De Witt got passed, but he had problems later on. After Eny went off, my strategy enabled me to finish ahead of him. Yan had some problem in the pitstop, but he still came back after De Witt had a technical issue to finish in 8th, meaning both Ash cars got points!

Comment: We didn't have a good preparation for this race, and the lack of laps, especially in race conditions, was the cause of the two mistakes I did in the first stint which strongly affected my race. I knew that podium would have been impossible here so, realistically, I'm pretty ok with my sixth place.
Congratulations to Bruno for his poker and to Roy and Ondrej who really managed to put up a nice show. Well done.

Comment: I think I can be happy with my debut in WC. When I was driving in the free practice, I saw the times were very close to each other and knew the race would not become easy.
The start of my race was nearly perfect and managed to move from P7 to P4 after the first turn. I didn't have the pace to follow the Top3, but I was fast enough to stay on my position.
At my first stop things went quiet wrong. When braking at my stand, I stopped the car too early. I had to select the 1st gear again, drive 1 metre, and stop again. This was enough to loose 3 positions.
In my 2nd stint I was trying to hold off Ernesto de Angelis, but a little mistake out of the final chicane caused he could pass me, which caused I drove on P8.
Further in the race the retirement of Patrick de Wit gave me P7 again.
When looking at the time differences after stop 2, I knew I could stay at P7 if I wouldn't make any mistakes.
I drove easily till the end of my race, and got my 1st 2 points of the season!!

Really thanks everyone who made it possible I could make my WC debut in this great team!!

Comment: Another disappointing race for me. The only thing that went well was nailing my pb in the last seconds of q2 to make ti final qual. In qual 2 my rear tyres locked up into T1 and ruined my lap which was disappointing as I had the pace for be near the front of the grid today in race trim. Once the race started I got my customary crap start and went down to 11th where I found myself in my customary position of being behind spengler who closed the door on me into T1 when I tried to overtake him and spun me out.

Race was over then basically. I kept pushing though and found myself behind Kaasa and getting held up and couldnt overtake him for many laps, which my partly my fault because my 7th gear was too short today. My finishing position was the best I could do today after my spin, and even without, it would have been harder to to finish much higher after my bad start. Everyone was so fast today and it seems a few teams have jumped forward lately. We need to work harder and create better setups.

Comment: One word.. Horrible. Quali went bad, and I couldnt make up for it during the race. After just a few laps.. I was in last position, and 8 seconds behind the last person. My race then was already lost. I managed to overtake a few people, but it wasn't enough. For next race its gonna be important to start further to the front of the grid.

Comment: Tough race for me. I always had a hard time here in Barcelona and I knew it was going to be a difficult race, as my car balance was not good in race conditions. At the start and end of stints it was ok, but in the middle I was struggling to keep the car on track, so I was obviously far off the pace.

Looking forward to a much better race in Turkey, the first one of the circuits where I won in WS Ace.

Comment: Was very happy with my qualifying attempt got my PB of an 18.2 just a shame i coulden't hook up the final sector or i was in good shape for a top 10 start. After the penaltys started 14th.

In the race my pace was a bit quicker than i was expecting and managed a few overtaking moves into T1 was as high as 8th on merit at one point but my engine blew with 2 laps remaining, hopefully i didn't cost danny to much time as he was right behind me when it blew down the front straight.

Next up istanbul not one of my favourite tracks but looking to go well.

Comment: Pace has improved since I started here and infact missed Q1 top 10 by just few tenths when before it was no way in reach. In the race never got into pace I was capable of and 10 laps to the end caught too much curb in last turn and it was over.
