Comment: WORLD CHAMPIONS! What a great way to win the championship! After so much hard work this season it feels very rewarding to secure the championship with a win. I want to thank the whole team for this truly amazing year. About the race, it was another fantastic race. The setup was so good, one of the best setups of the season. The car was pretty easy to drive and I showed that in qualifying by taking pole. In the first few laps I couldn't get rid of Ronny; so I was a bit worried, but then he started to make some mistakes and I could get away. The rest of the race the gap was increasing all the time, but it was very difficult to keep the concentration. I think this is the longest race of the year and the track is so difficult, it was really hard to keep the concentration for so long, especially when you are in front for the whole race. So to win this race feels very special, and to secure the championship here aswell is just amazing.

Comment: Bit unlucky again... I had a brakepedal issue as in Melbourne again during qualification but I could solve the issue to 95% so not too bad in qualification.

I could past Bruno in the first turn hopefully and followed Bono for the first laps.
After some laps I struggled a bit and lost connection to Bono but was still enough in font of Bruno. From that point my race was quite boring besides my spun in the last section. Now I'm in 4th place and can even climb higher in the next races.

And congrats to Bono for his win and WC TITEL of course!

Comment: Sadly this wasn't the result I wanted at all.

Qualify was pretty much what I expected even though I wanted to break into the 35's but the only lap I could have done that I made a huge error in s2 losing around 2 tenths.Patience!

For the race, my car was pretty competitive both in race and qualify, but the fact that I had to save fuel (meaning I used less boost than possible ) from the very 1st lap even though I had full tank hurted my chances completely. I lost a place to Ronny as I had no idea where even Bono was and I didn't want to be too agressive into T1 and hit one or even both Precisions, so I just lost a position that if I had a good enough pace, I should have taken it back anyway. Unsurprisingly both ran away and I found myself defending even on the 1st stint where I was the heaviest car on the field it seems. Then after each pitstop the car improved slightly but I still had to keep saving fuel. All in all i'm happy with 3rd place as I simply had no chance to do better, did no big mistakes, nothing..

Onto Suzuka...

Comment: Consistent drive and no mistakes was key on this track, and I did that, P4 is the result. P3 was possible maybe, but I didn't have enough fuel.
Not much time for testing, so I'm happy.

Comment: Was struggling whole week with setup and didnt find any speed at all wich was a bit of a surprise as in valencia and monaco pace was quite good.

Thankfuly 2h before the race started Jaakko pitched his setup and I was immideatly lot faster with it, in Q eaven tough I made my personal best I still found out that I was capable of doing 36,0 atleast but I wasnt ready to do it quite yet.
In start I was cautious and agressive as always, gained 1 place and was stuck in Twister train after that, while flollowing twisters I touched the wall a bit wich usually doesnt cause damage but this time it made right front and rear wing yellow so I lost time in corners where more aero was needed.
Some laps later Greco spun in front of me and Marques so I started to think about where could I make a move on Bruno but 2 corners later I managed to put my inside wheel 2cm too much onto anticut and I had to make 360 wich made me loose some 5 seconds.
I also made wrong decision to pit later than twisters so after my stop I had to push to make up the lost time.
Second pit I pited 1 lap sooner than Greco while being 1,5s behined him and drove as fast as I could the outlap it was enough to come infront of him by 0,5s
After that I knew if I make no mistakes it will be hard to pass me. Some 15 laps to go I noticed I had less fuel than expected and had to drive last laps with realy low boost, it seemed that Dennis had eaven worse fuel problem than me so with final 5 laps I closed the 8s gap to under 1s when we crossed finish line but it wasnt enough to pass him.

I have mixed feelings from this race, 2h before race started I would have been happy with top5 finish but knowing that jaakko came up with setup that realy suited me I can only wonder what could have been if I had a bit more time to bond with the setup.

Congrats to Bono he deserved his title this year and congrats to all PrecisionMotorsports.

See you in Suzuka, looking forward to it.

Comment: Did a PB in qual which was ok I suppose. I didn't really have any pace so could have been worse.
I took start too easily and lost one place to Poniatowski, who sadly was even slower than me, costing some time on first stint. I pitted early to pass him which worked ok.

For second stint I had better track position but worse tyres. Morris catched me from behind.
While nearing the end of second stint I started to realize I was using too much fuel. I was hoping I could be slightly faster on third stint compared to Morris as then I didn't have as much older tyres than I had on second stint.

Well my pace didn't improve. Probably got even worse. On last 20 laps or so I was three liters over the target, basically one lap short on fuel. Morris was charging behind. I couldn't continue driving on normal boost. I had to simply drive slower and hope for the best.
In the end I kept my 7th place. On second last lap Lee got closer and tried all he could on the chicane, but lucky me he spun.

Comment: I think I was out of rythm in qualifying, as I was alot slower than I expected.

In the race, I was last after the first few turns. Then De Witt DNF, then I pitted early and jumped Patel and Saxen. Then Poniatowski and Puumalainen DNF, and Morris had a spin at the end which put me to 8th place. I think I had pace to be closer than 50 seconds behind Huis, but that's my fault for not qualifying high enough to show it.

Comment: Enjoyable race, but frustrating to be stuck in traffic all the time

Did not get my qualifying lap right as i was rushed in from work and could not produce what was needed..

I had a car which was at least able to fight for second today.. But being stuck in traffic you cant do it..

Realy well done to Mikkonen for his drive under pressure.. realy impressive to not make mistakes.. had one attempt at a pass which was wild but had to have a go !

Congratulations to Bono Huis for a fantastic year... realy realy amazing to see your progress ! well done to Precision Motorsports also, fantastic team effort !

Comment: One of the most difficult races in my humble career. At the start I lost a place to Mikko and later to De Wit who attempted some 50-50 move into turn 8. After driving behind the queue most of the first stint Muhammed kindly let me pass, but after the first pit stops I spent most of the race behind Disley.

When Muhammed pitted for the second time early I was forced to react, which gave me a too long final stint in order to have any chances of passing Disley. Instead I started losing my point of reference behind him, hitting anti-cuts few times here and there. At the end of the race all sorts of pains started appearing in different places, so I'm glad to have finished the torture, but felt it could have been rewarded by some more points.

Congratulations to Bono who did the best possible job with this year's mod, and to my team Precision for a flawless season.

Comment: Didn't partake in Qualifying.

Race started well and gained 2 places. Got up to 12th and was in a train of Mikko and De Wit. De Wit spun so I gained up to 11th. I was saving fuel at the time, and then Saxen passed me.
Pitted like lap 14, but got jumped by Disley, but I jumped Saxen. Then Saxen re-passed me and I was like 3 seconds behind Saxen when I pitted. Came out and just missed out on Saxen. So last stint I just put the engine down and drove to the finish. Got P11, and was battling for the points. So atleast had pace to get a few points. Onto Suzuka...

Comment: Q1: 36.900, PB

Race:

Took a careful start, managed to pass JES. However, soon I noticed that I didn't have a good feel for the car and started struggling badly. I knew I didn't have good pace here but based on my practice times I should've been able to battle for P8.

On lap 10 or so I hit the anticuts after the bridge and spun right on the racing line. I waited before the people behind me passed me and then hit the wall while trying to spin in the right direction again.

After that I was ~10s behind the battle for points but continued to struggle with the handling. Some time after my pitstop I started to have pain in my right leg. The pain eventually got worse and after hitting some walls by losing concentration, I decided to retire during my 2nd pit stop.

Two very frustrating races in a row now, hopefully things start getting better again.

Congrats to Bono and Precision for the championships!

Comment: well, Q went better as expect due to my very poor preperation. In the race I made a big mistake as I lost my wing - I called the pits an overshoot the braking point which ended in the wall, plus the car stalled :(
Congrats Bono, well deserved!!

Comment: i feel sorry for the team
was really busy and no time to test propely
In the end it would not matter Singapore was not at all suited to my FTS car

A DNF in lap 4 due to anticut
a shame cause 1 point would be possable today without testing
