|"Quite a lucky win again but you won't hear me complaining. Qualifying was reasonable, lap was ok, nothing special which gave me P2. I knew that it was really difficult to pass so I wanted to pass Kerkhof in the first corner but I actually lost a place to Greco. I tried everything I could to overtake him but it just was not possible, which meant I had to wait for the pitstop. I was quite surprised to come out infront of Greco because he had just done a lap on new tyres. Fortunately I didn't get any damage from the contact in T1, so I could put some pressure on Kerkhof but like I said it's impossible to overtake. Just when I had given up on the win, I saw Kerkhof disappearing and retiring from the race. Very lucky again and we definitly have to improve, especially in qualifying where Twister seems to be doing a better job."|
|"My race was much better than expected, I didn't think I could be on the podium spot for the whole race, and actually challenge for the win. It was a great race, only 1 small mistake, but, I think, when we drive at this level, if one doesn't risk at all, is not a driver, is just a programmed machine to never change the routine, lapping without mistakes that is.|
I think that I had the pace to challenge for the win here. I never won in Melbourne, but always got good results. So it is a track that suits me, although I think I don't have that focus I had a few years ago. The incident, was a race incident, sadly caused by a very dangerous pit exit, but in the end, nothing really happened. It was 70% my mistake, 30% the bad pit exit, so I think in the end it
is good enough how it finished. Another P2, I am very pleased.
|"It was an okay race, of course very bitter sweet after seeing my team mate Atze disappear when in the lead, for the same reasons as myself last race. I am very sorry for him of course and we have to look at this to make sure it will not happen again. Anyhow, I messed up my Q2 lap pretty badly which made me start in sixth position. Saxén did a nice job of qualifying 5th, but in the race he held up me and Mikkonen all the time, so it was very frustrating being stuck behind all race, knowing we could challenge the top guys. It is really, really difficult to overtake this year, especially on a track like this, so I was just lucky that Mikkonen lost the car for a bit in turn 3 so I could overtake him. I myself had some hairy moments under braking a couple of times, but the car was very nice to drive all the time so it was no problem. Saxén’s engine started to smoke on the last lap, so I saw my opportunity and made a pass to take third in the end, which was a nice reward after all the frustration and the disappointment after Atze’s retirement. This is my best result in FSR so far, so I would again like to thank Twister-Racing and all members for doing a splendid job here."|
|"Happy to finally be back in podium contention after a difficult 2010 season. I knew I had the pace in Q1, but still almost ended outside the top 10. In Q2 I had no expectations, so it was a big surprise to end up P5 with an average lap.|
After qualifying I knew that the race was a matter of defending and strategy due to the dirty air. Got up to 4th at the start and basically kept my spot for the next 57 laps, including a well-timed pit stop. There was close fighting between Jaakko and Fredrik a couple of times, quite on the limit but still fair I would say.
During the second half of the race I became increasingly worried about my engine, having been forced to use higher revs while defending. After nursing the engine for the whole second stint I fortunately made it to the finish, but unfortunately the engine started smoking on final lap, which cost all the top speed and a position to Nilsson after a great pass from him.
Overall this was a fantastic result for Aero F1 and also served as a boost for myself after ducking around deep in the snow for most of last season. Hopefully this race also cleared some doubts regarding the fact that I only work for Precision on track, as a few opponents pointed out to me before the season start.
|"I didn't have good lap at all in Q2 and that was it as basically passing is not possible.|
I followed another car for 30 laps and then made bad mistake on T3 and Nilsson passed me. I don't really mind that, I deserved it I guess then.
I didn't adjust my brake wear to handle following cars for whole race, so I was forced to back off for most of the second stint.
I am very disappointed. I think I had pace to win the race. "
|"Q1: 1:21.820, pretty satisfied with this.|
Q2: 1:22.558, not too satisfied with this.
I had a decent start, some people falling off ahead of me again. After that it was a pretty tough race, I tried pushing as hard as I was comfortable with, but couldn't really make any progress.
I hoped I could maybe gain a few positions with an early pit stop but I unfortunately got caught behind Lee for a lap which negated any gain I might've had.
I had a few close calls with my teammate, luckily we both managed to score points in the end.
Congrats to Bono again and the rest of the podium."
|"Q1: Mistakes in q1 made me lose out q2 with 0,0x seconds.|
R: Starting from p11 I managed to do a good start but i was forced wide in t1. in t2 i gained back some places and settled behined mikko on p8. I knew dirty air will be disturbing cars balance on exit of corners so i was driving carefuly and waiting for mistakes from the cars infront. At one point i came realy close to spinning and hiting a wall in s3 while exiting a corner all because of the dirty air effect.
After the pitstop on lap 28 or 29 i had chance to pass mikko in fast chicane but he gave not enough room so our cars touched causing me to do full 360 and stall the car, luckily i had some forward motion and i clicked the 1st gear and engine started again.
After few laps i was again behined saxen train and thats where i finished.
Overall a dissapointing race mainly because of my own mistake in q1. On a positive note race pace was good so potential is there.
Hopefuly dirty air will be fixed so it would be more fun for drivers and spectators.

|"Q : 2times qualifying in Q2 this year. It is great. I choose to have very high downforce for the race. 1.22.6 is the maximum with my setup.|
R : I begin the race with medium but i have difficulties to make them hot. I have 55° tyre on the grid... oO
the race start and i take the outside, many twister's have pb, i'm P6 but i throttle too hard... ( i am at 40/50% throttle )
So i am P9 behind Marques who i am blocking during 25 laps... He overtake me on the pitstop... I am pushing hard but i loose 0.6s by lap and have a enormous understeering then drifting at acceleration. So i burn my tyres, i just defend my position and have a battle with Lee morris. So P8 is good for me "
|"Was not sure if i would be racing today so to turn up and qualify 12th on a lap no where near my best was ok|
Race went ok, nice and steady with an awesome pace at end.. was quicker than everyone infront of me at end of race just could not pas morand who did an awesome job defending..
In the end the result changed a little bit with people getting dnf's and im quite happy for that

|"Q: Did not get much together today at all, with low and high fuel. Missed times I could do by 5 tenthes, otherwise Q2 was in it. Very disappointing start|
R: Started good, but nowhere I could get through, turned a bit too early, while de Wit turned a bit in too late, so we touched, Sorry Patrick, my fault aswell. I got quite big damage from it. Car was snappy while braking with high fuel and yea my engine was wearing heavily so at about lap 20 I decided to safe the car and hope for some DNFs worked okay and a point. Nothing spectacular and not what I wanted."
|"I was fast at this track and normally I was disappointed that qualified in 16th position. I was coutious at start of the race and lost 1-2 positions, because i was involved in a massive accident on Saturday in WS. I had good tempo and was faster than some drivers and tried overtake them to not waste time with those fighting for position. I made one very beautiful overtake at 2nd lap in Sector 3 from the outside. Then i tried to keep same speed like my teammates infront me Morris and van Buren, but i got distracted and made a mistake at turn 1. After that I kept a normal tempo, and I did not risk the engine. With some goodluck managed to finish in 11th, but without the spin I feel I could be in the points with a top 10 finish.|
Thanks to all the GT Omega team for building me a wonderful and fast car to drive with. Thanks to FTS also for letting me be a sub driver for them this race.
|"Had chest pains from drinking too much mocha today. This certainly cost me the two seconds I was off on pole. Nearly stalled again at the start and I was just happy to put in some laps which some were entertaining with Dewitt. Then I pitted and lost two positions cause the darn pit crew didn't have enough mochas. Lost about 5 seconds there and stalled it in the pits. Anyways good pace today consistent and congrats to waxen for many points to aero."|
|"Q: My qualify session was as expected. I had a few qual laps unter my belt so I knew I couldn't get into top10.|
R: I was more than careful in first couple of laps. Then some mistakes from some drivers and I was a couple of positions up. My race was peaceful I knew I couldn't ask for something more cause of my practise time I had. In last laps I had fuel problem and I had to give some positions to finish. Congrats to my teamate Lukas Euler for grabing a point here in Australia! Nothing more to expect than to get better in next races. "
|"Q1: Didn't have pace at all this weekend, so nothing speciallike i thought.|
Start was nervous, car felt somehow different then in practise, lost some positions because of that. Later i was fighting with Blair Disley for 12th and 13th place, he was much quicker but i was able to defend against him.
On lap 18 he got inside line to turn 3, he braked late and i had nowhere to go, was stuck on curb for some time. After that my tyres were ruined and engine kept dropping whole race even with shortshifting, engine failed some 7 laps to go.
Looking forward to race in Sepang, hopefully a bit better pace there."
Q1: first two attempts failed in Turn one, third attempt was a stable careful lap good for p2.
Q2: lost 0.2 in the last sector, but was enough for pole
R: Saving engine saving tires saving saving saving saving, I was actually enjoying the race when everything turned out to be safe. And than a gamefreeze. There's some curse on Twister-Racing apparantly.
Grats to Bono and Greco and ofcourse to Nilsson for his first FSR World Championship podium! "
|"Qualifying 1: Went as expected, as soon as I did that lap time, I knew it would be enough and starting lapping in Q2 conditions and things were looking promising.|
Qualifying 2: Basically my Q2 practice in Q1 was useless, the car felt completely different, no traction whatsoever, need to see what happened.
Race: A race to forget, despite having the same pace as the leaders, I couldn't pass Morgan who was 5 to 6 tenths slower per lap. So I pitted early to pass Morgan which worked beautifully, and as soon as I thought i'd have some clean air so I could drive my own pace for a change, Rasmus Tali spun and ended up right in front of me. Again I spent the whole time trying to pass without success, which is a shame. At lap 43, my PC rebooted and that was it.
All in all, it feels good for Malaysia, the car was quick as I hoped, so was I , to a certain extent, but it definitely is a weekend to forget!

Was 9th after turn 1 then Morgand morand who made a mistake he comes back on track and again my race gets compromised he hitting my car and then trying to push into the wall again losing positions basically with the damage i had could not do nothing anymore
we lack evertything its even worse then last year were like the HRT now:(
need a rest all this testing for nothing again
|"Proved, like in the past, I can do good laptimes in practice then I can do them on race day. Qualified 6th I think Q1, then 4th Q2, then binned it at the start. Was going to keep going hope for some points maybe, but then halfway through had a problem on my end which caused me to lose connection."|
|"Only did about 15 laps training for this one as I had allot of things I needed to focus on in the week, this resulted in a lack of pace and a race which ended early. "|
