Q2 The worst lap i have ever made... worst than 2011 Suzuka but P5
Race : Got a good start, in the first stint, i was struggling with Q2 tyres, tyre pressure wasn't good.
Got a lot of battles. Baldi, simoncic, dominguez and saxen. I did not overtake them in S2 or S3 to not loose time to rietveld.
2nd stint was my best so far. Making a lot of 23.xxx
I cought up rietveld before pitstop, and made the pass at 2nd chicane caused by his late braking which gave him not enough speed at exit. Anyway, he was in my slipstream but at the last laps of the stint, i had better pace than others.
I was looking the gap with huis because he had Spa strategy, 3 longs stints + 1 very fast stint. But speed was enough and i managed brakes during last stint.

|"My Q2 lap was really bad, lots of mistakes in S1 and S3 which meant that I was starting 6th. I was very careful in the first few laps, maybe too careful so I lost a lot of time there. When I got through the traffic, Jeffrey and Morgan were already a few seconds infront so we decided to go for longer stints and plan the attack in the very short last stint. This worked quite well, I got Jeffrey but unfortunately Morand was a bit too fast..."|

Q2: Had a very nice S1 and S3, compleetly failed S2 but still pole position!
Race: Had a good launch of the start, managed to create a gap but once Morgan passed a few guys behind him, he managed to win time on me in most of the laps. After the 2nd round of pitstops he passed me going into lesmo 1 with an unfair pass imo. Soon after Bono passed me as well and I finished 3rd with a brake failure in the last lap.
Happy to take another podium, and my first ever pole position in WC !"

Q2: P2, if i didn't make a mistake in all of the sectors, i could be in pole, but not bad.
R: Bad start, then fight with Simoncic, Morand overtook me easily, but with Bono i had a clean fight. After that, i just wanted to follow the cars in front of me, but at the end, i was too far from them, i tried everything, all of the exits were hard, i had oversteering everywhere, and i nearly wrecked the car in the last laps. Without this, maybe i could finish on the podium, but the P4 isn't bad at all. See you on the Nuerburgring."

Q2: 23.8, too cautious, P7 after Philipp decided to remove his Q2 laptime
I took a careful start, P8 after the first lap. I knew that I would most likely struggle in the 1st stint against the 3 stoppers around me. My pace was not great either, took some time to settle in.
In the 2nd and 3rd stints I drove quite well in my opinion, whenever a 3 stopper caught me I would let them go to avoid losing any time while defending pointlessly.
5th place in the end, decent result. Not sure if I'll drive any more races this year, it was nice to drive again after a 7 race hiatus though."
|"I was somehow slower than in WS race and I just managed to hold on at 10th place in q1. In q2 I somehow by really weird circumstances got 3rd spot on the grid.|
On the start I gained another place but then lost it, and Morgan and Bono stormed past me inevitably so I was 5th. Then at the end somehow Mikko on 2 stopper stayed in front of me by 4 seconds and he was setting identical laptimes as me on worse tires so I had to settle for 6th. Good race, nice experience of being in the 2nd position in a world championship race even if just for a few corners.
Though...I'm a little bit dissapointed, I wasn't mentally prepared for the race... my feet were shaking so much I could barely find any braking point in the first few laps. Also the pace was like 3 or 4 tenths slower than in the testing and in the WS race. But 6th place is still not too bad."
|"Q1 - Just ruined every lap I had, on my final attempt I was easily going to make top 10 but ruined S3 with an oversteer moment - 24:43x - 12th|
R - At the start I was slightly cautious but I managed to gain a place due to Parisis's off moment. And going into the last turn I managed to pass Saxen for 10th.
Lap 3 I managed to pass Brljak going into the last turn and we battled till T1 on lap 4.
Lap 4 T4 - Mikko makes a mistake and I jump on the oppurtunity.
Lap 17 I was behind Kolarec and I ruined my braking for T1 and shot over the kerbs and Kalamees was close to passing me.
Lap 19 - Kalamees passes me into T1
Lap 22 - Passing Kalamees into T1 he outbrakes himself and I get the position.
Lap 32 - Pass Lapchin into last turn, he re-takes the place going into to T1 of lap 33
Lap 33 - I make a mistake in atempting to pass Lapchinn in Ascari and we make contact and Lapchinn overall stalls.
I accept that the incident was my fault and I won't fight recieving the penalty, just got caught up in the excitement and ruined his race.
Lap 39 - Kalamees spins.
Lap 49 - I pass De Wit due to his failing brakes.
Overall a great weekend for Netrex and Gergo for his amazing race is even better. Maybe racing WC in Nurburging but Peter Varga will be back.

|"Q1 went very good - P4.|
Q2 was a disaster as my wheel failed before the first lesmo and it did a sudden downshift so I that I was caught out by that and fucked up the rest of the lap. I gave up the laptime as it was a cut in lesmo1 - P9.
I had a very good start ; managing to pass Petar off the line and Mikko at the exit of the first chicane -> up to P7. Then from lap 3-4 I battled with Ivar for P6
finally passing him in lap4 in the second chicane. So everything went well but somehow Jernej and me had a misunderstanding when we two would pit and sadly I had to wait behind Jernej in the first pitstop and losing many seconds.
-> ruining my race.
In Lap 19 I passed Mikko for 9th. Lap 30 showed another pass on Eros Masciulli for 13th there. Then on lap 33 I almost collected the spon Lapchin.
And then from lap ~38-48 I fought with Petar.
In the end 8th. Not satisfied at all as there was much more I could have acieved.
Congrats to Morgan for his epic win and to my teammate Jernej for his 6th place.
|"I heard on the raceday that I had to drive, so I was late on allocating and had to start from the back of the grid.|
The race was really fun, 3 stops strategy worked fine, had lots of nice battles.
My goal was to score points, and in the final laps I was on P11, close behind Brljak and Puschke.
I had a good battle with Brljak for P10, which lasted till 1 lap before the end, when de Wit lost his brakes, and Brljak got slowed down a bit by de Wit. So I was in P9, but couldn't come close enough to Puschke in the final lap.
But I'm very happy with this result, very pleased to have scored some points."

Q2: Mistake at Lesmo 2 meant i lost 3 tenths, could have been P3...
I changed the wing angle after WT race as i saw I was too slow on the straights, but then i ended up using duct 6 and had no top speed or grip i was used to, resulting in horrible race pace...
After Gosbee passed me due to my little mistake behind Mikko i was mainly following him with a couple of seconds gap and staying in front of Puschke until the last stint that was supossed to be a sprint on a 12 lap stint but instead my focus was gone and i was ducking so badly that i lost 2 positions. Had some battles there with Duivelaar and Puschke.
Nothing was in favor of me on this track so i didn't expect much but this was really in rank with Silverstone, maybe WT is distracting me too much, but i'm not delivering my best in WC. Onto Nueburgring :)
|"This was not the weekend I expected, for reason I don't fully understand the pace has been poor in the previous two rounds. In qualifying 1 I put the lap together perfectly which brought me into Q2, but on race setup the car felt a bit different, and the lap wasn't stellar either, so started 10th to the race.|
During the first laps I lost a couple of positions, but I wasn't too worried yet as I was running a 2 stop as opposed to the more popular 3 stop option. In the middle of the stint I lost momentum for a while, which allowed Lapchin to pass me. This slowed me down a bit in the 2nd stint, as I felt I had slightly more pace than him on fresh tires.
At the half point I realized the pace was too poor to challenge for good positions, as I was barely able to follow Lapchin. After him and De Wit retired I eventually finished P11, to end my most difficult weekend I've raced in Monza.
For some reason I enjoy Nürburgring as a track and the high downforce characteristic should hopefully help us to find a bit more pace there."

R: Started from the back of the grid and all i wanted to do was surviving the first laps without problems wich i managed to do. Honestly it was such a intense race that i cant remember the key points much, mainly batling with Disley and Kolarec in the back for some positions. I suffered left front damage early in the race sacrificing my pace badly. The car was hard to handle trough the lesmo's since it was having trouble to turn in.
Knowing my brakes where fine all i could do was driving to the maxium that was possible with this car and hope that some retirements could give me a shot a the final points. But this didnt happend, thanks for Christian Smirnoff ofr letting me drive the FTS car. Without damage im confident i could have challenged for p9 p10 today."

Q1:Had few bad laps,but last one put me on 16th position..A bit disappointed,but was looking forward for the race.
As race begins,I had awful start,most because I wasnt agressive,as My goal was finishing this race.
Lost 2 positions at the start,I tried to close the gap to guys but I couldnt manage to do it.Was fighting at 17th place with Disley and Alberts,but after 1st pitstop I lost both positions.
I tried to catch up Diesley,what I did and then tried to pull off.
A that moment I was at 16th place and then I started to go easy with the brakes,because they were really worn.
After 2nd pistop I lost position to Disley,because of my fault.
I put too much fuel in the car and also I was going more and more careful with the tires.
At the lap 53 my brakes just died and I went straight in the wall.
My first WC race finished,in really bad way,I'm sorry that I let my team down.
Didn't had enough practice because of my last weekend race,so I had one week which was very busy.
Want to thank guys in factory and garage for good work.
We have to look forward,to Nurburgring,which is a good track,very balanced.

Anyway was 2nd at 1 point in the race due my 2 stop pitstrategy
I was 7th with 4 laps to go form the back of the field
and my brakes starting to fail again what do i have to do to change my luck!!!!!
|"Tough week with a lot of testing to do, for two leagues.|
I really had no speed in Q1 yesterday as I got 7th in WS in Q1, so thought I would be out of top 10 almost certainly. Did my PB though and comfortably through to Q2 to my surprise.
Pretty interesting Q2, got a quite good lap in and 4th due to big guns having bad laps.
Race start was nice and got out of T1 in the same place. Didn't do much defending against the title contenders. Fought quite hard with Philipp in the first stint. After the 1st pit stop I was still 7th, with Philipp making a mistake in pits, but Martin leapfrogging me thanks to his longer 1st stint. Fought hard with Martin in the 2nd stint and lost some ground to him again in the pits. In 3rd stint Martin got held up by 2-stoppers and I got close to him and Yannick. They had a coming together in Ascari on 32nd lap, so I got back up to 6th place. I knew I would lose one position to 2-stopping Mikko, but I was happy with 7th. Lost the car on 38th lap out of Lesmo 2 though and stalled it."

I tried my best to bring points to the team, but I think that it wouldn't have good enough. There was an incident at lap 33 that led me to end my race (cause of stall when launching the car again).
To Martin : There's no problem, things happen, and maybe I should have been a little more accurate on that overtake, thinking we were not in the same race (though I have the right to defend). I know you are a gentleman on track."
|"Well, I wasn't expecting to drive but only Petar was avaiable to race today, sadly the rest of the guys were busy or had problems. Did 1h of testing so I exected nothing with my pace.|
Q1 was quite good considering that I did 0 qualy attempts before the session, I think it was a 23.5. My last attempt was ruined by Ivar, who leave the pitlane with the session over, I don't know what's the point of it, but well, that's life.
The race start was pretty clean I think, I kind of survived and earned 1 or 2 positions, so it was good. I was following Yannick quite easily, and towards the end of my stint I catched JES. My second stint was quite awful, some terrible initial laps with lots of mistakes on braking. At some point I lost the car out of the second chicane, and ended in the wall. I didn't stall the car, but I had no motivation to finish the race being last without any chance.
Thanks to Stephane for the setup and Petar for the last minute testing, I really needed it. Congrats to Morgan, Bono and Jeffrey for the podium, you guys had a very good pace, same for Baldi.
I guess I'm not going to drive again, but if for some reason I come back, I hope I have a bit more time to test! :)

R: I was the first with fresh tyres and I wanted to take advantance of this in the first stint but my dreams stopped in T1 when I made contact with the car infront while he was braking very early to avoid others. As a result I damaged badly my front right suspension, car became undrivable and so I DNF.
