007-B car to be used during the 2007 Formula-Simracing Championships. The car underwent some drastic changes compared to the 2006 car, one of it is of course the switch to the V8 engines.
Roaldo Racing secured a deal with a new engine supplier named M-TEC. The company will provide the team with new developed V8 engines and will work closely together during the year to improve the engine. M-TEC will also provide the team with the ECU and engine management software.
Other big change is of course the tyres, the team had to switch from tyre supplier as the new rules state that the Championship can only have one tyre manufacturer. Its believed that the new tyres would be made from a harder compound and would cause some troubles however during winter testing the tyres behaved very well during the tyre tests and so the team doesn’t expect any problems
related to the tires.
With 2 fast drivers Roaldo Racing is highly motivated and expect to achieve even better results in the FSR World Championship than the 2006 season. However in the World Series it will be a whole different story as the team has to defend 2 Constructor Championships WS ACE and WS PRO achieved during the 2006 season, the team expects an hard battle seeing the driver submissions on the FSR forums.
The lineup in the different Classes are as follow:
FSR Formula-Simracing World Championship #09 David Greco #10 Danny Davison #71 Mark Aalberts (Backup/Reserve driver) #72 Zaahir Essa (Backup/Reserve Driver)
FSR Formula-Simracing World Series ACE #03 Stephane Rouault #04 Fred Gosling #14 Zaahir Essa #15 Martin Dyrlund #62 Guillaume Girard
FSR Formula-Simracing World Series AMA #03 Keith Doherty
#04 Brian Labode
Also the team website underwent some big changes. Many thanks from the team goes to Michel Olivier who designed and build the new website. You can reach us at http://www.roaldoracing.nl; its not fully finished yet as it will face some small updates in the next weeks.
