TMo - Revitalized, remodeled and revamped
TMo gains major steam for North American sweep...
Category: Article
Columbus, Ohio, USA, May 30, 2007 – During "New TMo pearly whites" the two week gap in the FSR World Series schedule and while the Torrent Motorsports crew were busy preparing the cars for consecutive rounds in Canada and the United States many changes were taking place both behind the scenes and on the face of Torrent Motorsports. With new technical guidelines delivered to all the FSR teams and mandated for implementation at the Canadian Grand Prix TMo seized this opportunity to give their cars an aggressive and eagerly anticipated fresh look with new liveries.
With continued support from sponsors Osiris Shoes, United Sales and Distributors, Baker Billiards and Atmosphere, TMo’s resident graphics artist has developed some bold changes while maintaining the well known Torrent paint scheme. Added to the livery are the fierce ‘shark teeth’ that were a common feature on WWII U.S. fighter planes such as the P-40 Warhawk. The livery is not only homage "Giltner parades new livery in style" to the brave pilots of the past but a reaffirmation of support for our current servicemen in action throughout the world.
Along with the refreshing liveries TMo’s online persona has undergone similar changes and new features have been added such as the Company Info which features exciting news about TMo becoming a Limited Liability Corporation. To make your visit to www.torrentmotorsports.com more inviting and well worth the time spent browsing for information about the motorsports team the site is fully interactive and the information is updated daily.
You will notice a completely new Sports Car section located in the Teams menu and TMo is proud to present the newly formed Sports Car Division lead by manager Richard Hylands. Featuring new driver recruits Scott Arrington, Alex Lugones from the United States and Kimmo Kononen a Finnish driver residing in Sweden, Torrent Motorsports is anticipating a strong insurgence "TMo Press" into the realm of sports cars which have always been team principle’s Mike Theis’ first love. Scott, Alex and Richard, who hails from Canada, have many wins and championships under their belts and their experience and dedication will feature heavily in lending strong support to TMo’s open-wheel efforts. Kimmo brings a strong ability to work with the other drivers in setting up the vehicles to maximize their potential and achieve the best possible results.
While undergoing many changes in the short time between the Monaco Grand Prix and the next race at Montreal one thing has remained consistent at Torrent Motorsports and that is their desire and commitment to earn the respect of their fellow competitors by producing strong race results week in and week out. Supported completely by their team principle and successful sponsors TMo’s stable of professional drivers strive for perfection. North America, you have been warned.
