Driver Lineups Final
Kolbe with grid penalty
League: World Championship Category: Interview
2 hours before the 2006 FSR World Championship "2006 FSR Monaco GP" Monaco Grand Prix the confusion which we reported to you yesterday is now finally gone. Twister-Racing ended their partnership with DaSilva Netrex due to the dropout of 2002 world champion Ernesto De Angelis. This means that rookie Patrick de Wit will go back to Twister-Racing. He will be partnered by their reserver driver Joakim Bengtsson. World Champion Dennis Hirrle will instead race for Ash Racing alongside Geoffrey Veenings. Marc van Huffelen is unable to attend the race.
For the Kiwi Virtual teams we see the usual picture. Roy Kolbe and David Greco for the Coca Cola team and Dominik Binz and Sebastian Schmalenbach for RedBull. 2004 world champion Kolbe however will suffer from a 10 positions grid penalty due to his second late allocation this season, which means the German will in best case start the 78 laps race from 11th on the grid. For F1 Racing Kiwi Virtual we can see three potential drivers in the allocations list: Philips, Bilibok and Dodd. Two of them we'll see in the third Kiwi Virtual team for sure.
Sebastian Keijmel will celebrate his debut in the World Championship for Roaldo Racing alongside Emanuel Gaczella. For DaSilva Netrex it will be Giuseppe Marconi and Fausto Pappalardo taking the wheel. Bruno Marques and Steve Kasimatis will, as usual, be on the grid in their Diamond Racing cars. Marques looked strong in the free practice sessions so far, maybe the Portuguese can celebrate his first victory today.
We will not forget Gabriel Garivaldis and Dennis Johansen who will take their seats in their panther-powered Faster Than Speed cars, although Garivaldis still might replace himself with Ferry Koek from Twister-Racing who has just won the Monaco Grand Prix in the World Series Ace division.
For Virtual Games we will again see Denis Kiriakopoulos and Fred Gosling in their black beauties.
The 2006 Monaco Grand Prix can finally start!
(sorry for any mistakes).
