Greco shines in British GP
A new car!
Category: Article
Already preparing for todays World Championship "RRLogoNew" race for the Europe GP, the Roaldo Racing team has high hopes that it will be another succesful race. The team looks back today on the British GP with a good feeling.
David Greco WC driver comments on the British Grand Prix. "As Roy said I made a fantastic race. I don't know if I had the best car out there, but I had a great car for sure to drive. I wasn't very confident starting from 6th, but getting a place at the start and Patrick's mistake in first lap for sure gave me more hopes at the end of the first lap. Then everything went perfectly. Perfect strategy and perfect pit stops. Thanks to all, to my team mates, to my team manager Roald that believes in me every single race and to our new sponsor RacingRenders.com. I hope more sponsors come alongside my good performances."
Mark Aalberts team owner of Roaldo Racing comments on the British grand prix “Another great weekend for us and another good result for David, I’m very pleased that he is doing so well. I wasn’t be able to be live at the race because of an appointment but when i returned home and "Roaldo Racing car" turned on the TV i was very surprised to hear the Italian anthem song J and after that of course the Dutch song for the team. Im also happy for Yannick Lapchin that he is able to get back behind a steer again, since he had to stop racing 2,5 years ago because of study. It just looks like there is a curse on our 2nd car, we know the race pace of our drivers where good to go for a solid point finish unfortunately Yan got involved in an accident and bended his suspension. I’m very sure he will do great at the next race as he likes the Nurburgring and has always been fast there. “
“Last thing to mention is of course our deal with Racing Renders.com. I Am happy for the team that it was able to sign this deal with such a professional company as Racing Renders.com to partner up with them. It will definitely give a new boost to the team to perform even better then it already did. I Am really happy about how the season has evolved this year, its going above mine expectations and past the goals we had set begin this year. I’m looking forward to the reminder of the season, its going to be difficult to win the constructor title but even with a 25 "RacingRenders.com" point gap to 1st placed Diamond Racing Team it should be possible to close this gap in the last 8 races. “
Yannick Lapchin comments on his race " I'm pretty disappointed, because I finished one lap behind the leaders, as I was able to keep a good place looking at my times in test sessions. Just to bad that i got damage in the begin of the race after an crash. But I'm very happy for David and I will keep supporting him as much as I can. I think I will be more performant in Nurburg, and I hope to get a top 5. I would like to thank our new sponsor, Racing Renders, and Roald and Danny who were really nice to let me drive some races in World Championship, even if I'm not performant as I could have been some years ago."
For the German and Hungarian race the team will drive with RacingRenders.com sponsoring, the new livery comes together with an engine update and some aero changes. We thank our new sponsor and wish our drivers all the best for the Eifel race at Nurnburgring.
Thanks to Racing Renders.com. Thanks to Sam Giltner for the pictures.
