Zero points for the Roaldo Racing team
BUDAPEST, HUNGARY - It was a weekend to forget
"Roaldo Racing Logo New"
for the Roaldo Racing team in the FSR World Championship. For the first time this season the team scored zero points. Both David Greco and Yannick Lapchin didn't make it to the finish.
David Greco had to start at the back of the grid because of technical problems during qualification. Yannick Lapchin showed ones again he is still the fast driver like before, having many fights the entire race. In the end both drivers scored zero points.
In the World Series it was a better weekend for the Roaldo Racing team. Yannick Lapchin won the WS Ace race and Fred Gosling finished 4th, with this the team
extended their lead in the championship. Newcommer Marco Polo should have driven WS Pro, but he decided to try WS Ace for one race. For the Turkey GP Marco will be driving WS Pro the team assured. Todd Alan scored again points for Roaldo Racing Pro in his second race. In the amateur division it was ones again a dissapointing race, but the Roaldo Racing Ama drivers Keith Doherty and Brian Labode cannot be blamed. They were taken out by other cars on track. The team hopes that for the Turkey GP the Ama-drivers would be more proffesional and safer.
Team-manager Roald Reurink was not happy with the WC result and said there would be some
changes from now on: "We had an unlucky race, that can happen. I'm pleased how both my drivers drove and we are of course confident for the Turkey GP. There will be some minor changes inside the team itself, which will improve the communication and preparations for a GP. The positive news for this weekend is that we extended our lead in the WS Ace."
