had a good weekend in Italy. The biggest achievement was from Italian driver David Greco who won the FSR World Championship race. Yannick Lapchin, team mate of Greco, drove to a well deserved 5th place.
There remains four events in the 2007 FSR season—Spa, Belgium; Shanghai, China; Interlagos, Brazil; and Fuji Speedway, Japan. Greco now trails Marques in the FSR World Championship by seven points. A championship win remains possible for the Italian as long as he continues to out-point Marques in the remaining races.
In the World Series the Roaldo Racing team had a solid point finisher in the Amateur division. Both Briand Labode (4th) and Keith Doherty (5th) were battling for the podium, but saw their race ending in 4th and 5th place.
In the Ace division it was Guille who drove to an excellent 4th place. A good result from the French driver, who will be missed at the upcomming Belgium GP. Fred Gosling, number one driver of the Roaldo Racing Ace team, was leading the race, but due to loss of concentration he ended as 11th. Still 6 points for Fred, meaning he is leading the championship.
