"What a race! David really made it hard this time. He made a great start as I predicted , but only myself to blame to lose the pole on the hairpin, I lost concentration there. Then I had to follow him until the pit stops, which honestly I thought he was going to stop sooner, but nevertheless, my pitcrew did an amazing pit work and I was able to pass him on the pits. Then I drove inside the lines of the track, careful enough to not make a mistake and still push as much as I could. I am very happy for this double win and sorry for Roy. Good job Ondrej, good 4 points on this track you hate lol, next one will be better for sure ;). Also good job Eny, you're getting used to podium ?? eheh.

Also thanks to for sponsoring us , to MultiBC to broadcast our race and to the commentators, 5* job!"

"After a good qualifying, I immediately lost second place to David who really had an amazing start, so my race didn't begin in the best way; just 2 laps later, I made a mistake with my wheel keys and I even lost second position to Trinka but I understood he was on a 3 stops strategy.
Till first stop I could be close to the leaders, then I didn't warn pit crew at the first stop and my pit time was so long that I completely lost contact to Bruno and David and from that moment I only focused on finishing on podium.
Also, after a touch from behind, I think my car was acting weird so I couldn't push anymore but, when I saw Patrick coming so quick from behind with his 3 stops strategy, my podium was in question again so I had to try my best to be as quick as possible.
Lapped drivers didn't help but at the end I managed to score another podium so I'm very happy as it's really the maximum I could do today.
Congrats to Bruno for another fantastic race and to David for his second place."

"An average weekend. 6th place in qualification meant for me the worst result in fsr but the whole field is very competitive and close together that you can be in top 3 or in the end of the top 10. Race started well, I overtook Saxen and tried to be careful unlike De Wit. Obviously I was too careful in some turns and I was losing lot of time to drivers infront of me. So De Wit who hit almost everyone who he tried to overtake got behind me. I wanted to finish race without any problems and he was much faster that part so I let him pass. Then I was just lapping and finished 5th. I wasn`t fast this time but I brought important points to constructor championship together with Bruno who made another great race. Congrats to him."

"One of these races which brings somewhat mixed feelings. In quali I managed to keep it together for the first time of the season, P5 and deserved congratulations heh, although in my second stint the car was going towards P3 until an error in end, but that's iffing.
Was then looking forward to a somewhat less effortful race, but seems that's never the case in WC. With De Wit behind my ass I took it careful in the first corner and lost two positions, but found myself back behind Kuncman after De Wit had spun off. Then the problems started, as the car was understeering much more than in practise for some clueless reason. A mistake pulled me behind Spengler and with hurrying up to overtake him we had a 50-50 contact with no one to blame. From there my race started again, as the front grip was slowly getting better as the track warmed up and I had some nice fights with GhostSpeeds. With a few laps left Schmalenbach and Rouault were battling just in front and somehow I knew that wouldn't end up good, and as they crashed I had the ideal place to overtake both.
Overal I expected a bit more since this belonged to my favourite tracks, but looking at fastest laps and quali pace there was at least some improvement. Making a conservative race setup was an error, but after USA I had to make sure rear grip would last. On the whole a bit unfortunate for the team, as we could have kept quali places with better luck, but hopefully Trinka's pc stops screwing it up from now on."

"The qual lap was actually good, unsept I almost lost it in the chicane before the start of the lap, so was already 0,2 slower in S1...

But I had a bad start, first I was slow of the grid, and then ther was a lot of smoke in the long right, and had to slow down...
During the race I did only 1 small mistake and did a 360 after the last chikane, only lost 5 sec or less, but lost 1 possision, but got it bad 2 laps from finish :P

I had hoped to be faster, but didnt get a good rythem in the race...
Anyway realy happy with the result, even I was a little lucky to get the points :P

"All in all, my pace wasn't as bad as I expected before the race. I was on the same level of Kuncman, who is my target to beat on track, as Roy has to beat Marques ;-).

Anyway, the race wasn't good for us with Roys disconnection right before the start of the race. I was racing in 6th until just a few laps ago, when one of this overmotivated rookies, in this case Rouault, tried to use my car as brake.

Well, at least I was able to score one point. Fortunately, the Rouault scored no points which should give him a lesson on how to drive properly in this grid."

"Another waste of good potential this weekend for me. Had an average qualifying but finally got good start and kept my position off the line but ran wide to avoid De wit crashing into me at T1 and lost two positions in the process. I managed to overtake De wit again after he spun trying another crazy overtaking move on Ondrey and then had to defend more of his crazy moves for the next laps. The guy dives on the inside when he feels like it, doesnt care when you brake. No respect driving and no concern for other drivers. Hes just a missile without a guidance system. Very dangerous.

With my low front wings it was basically impossible to turn the car at high speed while following so I ran wide and lost some positions, but I still thought I could do well because I was fueled very heavy, but unfortunately unbraking for the hairpin I lost downforce behind traffic and spun into wall and lost wing, so race was ruined right there. Its basically impossible for me to have a clean trouble free first laps in this league because most of the drivers are just crazy in the first laps and if you try to defend your race will be finished after 2 corners."

"I think this was one of my best races, had it not been for what happened on lap 67. I was really competitive, and one of the fastest guys out there.
My qualify didnt go so bad, i was just 4 tenths behind the pole position, sadly this also meant I was on p10. I screwed up in sector three, lost about 2/3 tenths there. But, the race is long, so no worries. I had a good start, but as normally, its really crowded around p10 on the start. I got by danny. Going into turn 2, saxen steering sharply to the inside, I had to avoid, and then danny hit me in the back and spun me around. So I had to start from p20 all over again. I had some nice overtakings, and a really competitive race. It was the most fun I ever had in FSR. Too bad I couldnt bring any points home, because of schmalenbach driving me off track. I think I really deserved some points this time. Hopefully I have more luck on silverstone."

"As I said in the other thread, there was an online FSR session during the week and a few guys were there. Along with the help from Stephane, thanks to Patrick and Gabriel and Luis Fernando for their encouraging comments and also to Patrick who showed his pace their. I was able to see that more top speed and tried lower wings then I currently had and I was now quicker than my previous france times!

However, for the WC race I thought I would try even lower wings and it was a gamble as it was untested but it was slower. I also used more brake pressure and more brake bias one way and the brakes failed. So, if I had of used my Ace setup, I would have been a bit quicker and perhaps finished in the top8 since some others had some problems.

But it's a lesson learnt/reminder to go with what you know for a race!

Congrats to the top8 finishers."

"I don't think I'm gonna get any good result this year with this lack of practice. All the drivers are really fast and the entire field stays within 1.6 secs, so loosing some tens means loosing maybe 10 positions... I'll try to get my best but it seems to be so difficult to get points."

"I don't have a lot to say about this race. As I predicted I wasn't enough prepared for the race, as get out of ill only 2 days before the race, so could start practising only on Saturday. Looking on others speed I would say I could beat only my teammate and possible Marconi anyway. In the race I experienced strange problems: the whole picture "froze" for a moment sometimes. When it happened in turns it costed me going wide and a lot of time and also having such "lags" 3 times per lap it was almost impossible to drive properly. On the start I had less then 25 FPS, so had no way as wait other cars pull away to get better FPS. Also when I did cut then to the harpin it was lag first time and I feared to hit someone and slow down and let Stephane to pass me back. Later depite lag-problem I did catch up my teammate, but regular lag happen again on braking in 1st turn of 3rd sector and I went to the gravel. It wasn't so bad but I did mistake in there and stole engine. That was over. I only hope all that problem was my hardware problem and after I make upgrade for the Germany race it all will be ok. Gratz to all finishers!"

"Annother disaster here in France. Again a blackscreen, again all practise lost, even with a downclocked system and heavy cooling. I have to blame Nvidia for that. I´ve spoken with some users of Nvidia 8800 GTS or GTX and all have the same problem. I don´t speak only about game crashes, also about the quality of the white lines. Even with 16xAF it´s simply not acceptable using Negative Lod Bias "Clamp". Never I spend about 350€ only for a GFX board. This season I did it, I dreamed even of this card. But since the first day I´ve it, I´m totally frustrated with this quality. Sorry Nvidia, but framerate isn´t everything. Now I´ve enough, back to quality, back to ATi. Well, grats to all who could finish and thx for nice battles I saw in live broadcast. Too bad I couldn´t challenge you guys. I knew Qualifying would be problematically, but in race trim the car was simply perfect. Now I couldn´t even complete the warm up lap, that´s unbelievable....
