"As Roy said I made a fantastic race. I don't know if I had the best car out there, but I had a great car for sure to drive. I wasn't very confident starting from 6th, but getting a place at the start and Patrick's mistake in first lap for sure gave me more hopes at the end of the first lap. Then everything went perfectly. Perfect strategy and perfect pit stops. Thanks to all, to my team mates, to my team manager Roald that believes in me every single race and to our new sponsor I hope more sponsors come alongside my good performances."

"After Qualifiyng I was confident to win the race, because usually we are better in race trim than in qualifiyng. But soon I realized that I had to switch the strategy, because I couldn´t open the gap I needed for a 3 stopper. After my first stop, I came out behind Stephan and lost a bit of time due to the heavy airstream. That was enough for Eny and David to pass me during the pit stop procedure. The race was lost already there, I couldn´t do much more then. The car was optimized for a short stint, so I lost a lot of time with the heavy car. Probably I would have finish directly behind Bruno with 3 stop strategy, but for sure not in front. But I wanted to win, so I had to risk something. Too bad I did a rookie mistake at my second stop and a driving mistake later in T1. Costed me 2 more positions. Whatever, 2 or 3 stop, we were simply too slow to win today. Congrats to David! I think he did the best race of his career, starting from 6th and then winning on a track where overtaking is impossible. That´s was really amazing and perfect timed!!!
Congrats as well to Bruno for 2nd place. Again he prepared the fastest car and so he shouldn´t be worried about P2. He has still all chances and I´m sure he will strike back soon. Oh and Danny I don´t want to forget too!! He´s the guy who improved the most with the new phyisc. Well done!! Now it´s time to work harder to close the gap for the next GP. See you in germany!!:)

"Very lucky day for me. At first I was having problems with pedals all day and then got 2 disconnections before the race. In qualification I had a very bad timing first time this year and in the 2nd hotlap I lost a lot of time in the last sector which put me on 7th place. Right before the race I had a internet problem, thnx to Christian for waiting. After the start Davison was lagging a bit so I had to be really careful to avoid him and I braked too early. It caused troubles to Trinka, sorry for that. Later I was bit unconcentrated and made 2 mistakes in turn 1, that cost me 2 positions and I was driving 9th until first stops where I managed to overtake Disley, later Roualt. I can`t be unhappy with 6th place but obviously it could have been much much better. Congrats to David and see you in 2 weeks."

"My qualify was ok, I made a mistake in s1, so I lost 3 tenths there.. but the rest of the sectors were perfect. still only p10. But, I knew from previous races that didnt mean anything, the race is where you score points. Luckily I could stay out of trouble in first few laps. And climb up to 4th. My strategy wasnt good I think, I didnt check how the tyres would hold, but I noticed my pace didnt improve near the end of the stint. So, obviously next time I would have to do better preperation. Anyway, I managed to get 2 points today and looking at my pace coming into this race, I am just very pleased. hopefully next race better speed. Also great race from Blair, its nice that we can both score points for GhostSpeed."

"Blessed that some guys had some problems, and I finished in 8th place! Went deeper than others in the race, and because of the dirty air effect, people could hardly pass.

I made a good start and was 9th I think, some laps later Kunckman went off and I was able to pass him. But he couldn't pass me back because of the dirty air. I believe that perhaps the dirty air effect in FSR is worse than it is in F1.

Went deep into the race with 1st pitstop, Marques came out behind me but couldn't pass. Kolbe couldn't pass Roualt from memory either. Thankfully rFactor had a mistake because my team mate and I pitted on the same lap but had different pit boxes, maybe FSR set it up like that on purpose if possible I don't know.

As I said before, thankyou to Stephane for his help in previous races for setting up the car, and thankyou to Ghostspeed for the opportunity to race and for having Stephane onboard when I joined Ghostspeed."

"Again, for a change, one of these less glorious races altogether. The pace was not quite there with my setup; a pretty ok quali lap, which was only enough for P11. The race continued from these circumstances, so I drove behind Disley for most of the race, but he made a great job and pitted later, making overtaking hard for me. Eventually finishing on P9, the team, the driver and the car concludably lacked best pace today. As every second race has been solid recently, I'm confident for a quick recovery at Nürburgring."

"Did not have time to practice anything last week, and was a little slower then before, and even had no qual setup, but did a ok lap out of my race setup...

did a ok start, but after T1, someone spinned, and I was mid in the smoke and could not see anything, and had to slow down, and when I got out from the smoke I was last, unsept from Trinka that spunn off, and the new guy that was gone... Then I was stuck behind Denis Kiriakopoulos for 5-10 laps, then we had to get back to the other guys infront, and almost made it befor they got to the first pit stop.

unluckly I was speeding in pit, and got a DT... realy sad, since I had gained 2-3 places on piting a little later. lafter doing my DT, I luckly got out just infront of Denis Kiriakopoulos, and from that time it was just to push hard and hope to get back in it...

"Race: after a good start, I was in front of Sergio (he had 5 positions penalty at the start). After a couple of laps, I let him pass, but I didn't know Kaasa was right behind him, so finally I lost 2 positions.
Then Marconi was faster, but he lost time in both pitstops. I could keep p11 until the end, and he finished less than a second behind me. It was very exciting. I had also a few laps fight with Lapchin, who obviously had a damaged car...but was real honour to fight with him.

Future : again in this race, I was quite a bit off pace (1.7s from pole, 1.5 from best lap). It's of course part of the setup and practice (350 laps), but I know it doesn't make everything. Everyone in the team has put a lot of hopes in me, and obviously I'm not making good enough for WC
The level is much higher than other seasons. Proof is that with my racetime, I would have been 'only' 7th in Ace!
But not everything is bad, since I'm still very consistant (88% of possible laps) and I never got any penalty or involved in incident.

For that reason, and also private team-stuff that I don't like, I decided to retire from the team (2008-07-15). I want to thank Rogério that believed in me, Nuno for the superb paintings, my team mates Fred Gosling and Sergio Casalins. Also all drivers that I met in WC this year, and more particularly Patrick deWit, Bruno Marques and Petter Kaasa.

Thank you and see you soon...maybe in 2008.

"Bad qualify....i did about 0.6sec over my pb. At start i couldn't see lights turn off...and i had a false start that cost me a drive trough.....please put lights also behind for the next races. However it was impossible to overtake here.....i was behind Denis all the race and when i tried to force to overtake him, the car was undriveble........however i saw the toward after some first little positive step."

"My mirrors showed Bruno clearly behind when I tried to take the inside line and when I did, I simply touched his front tyre! I'm sorry for him and for me, luckly he could finish and gained the position, that makes it less sad.
I'm happy for my pace but I really missed something in race, we'll have to work more on race trim for next GP."

"Well, my weekend was not as expected.
I messed up to do a good lap in qual and was more than 0,5s slower than my pb.

My first race laps were good and I could gain a few positions, but then I stuck behind a few guys and it was impossible to overtake them. I hoped that some of these guys were on a 3 stop strategy and came earlier to the pits than me but I was wrong. I was the first who stopped in Lap 21 and had a really long pitstop (14s) because of a damage that I did not know. I lost many positions again, but I came close to the guys in front of me very fast.

Then someone spun in front of me and I tried to runaround but I stalled my engine and the race was over."

"A good race for me today with my best result ever in FSR, which was a fitting way to end my time in WC!
I had a pretty good qualifying in 5th, and I was able to get a decent start and only lost one spot to David which I didnt even mind because I didnt want to get in the way of his WC battle anyway. Unfortunately I was too cautious in the first 10 laps and lost about 7 seconds to the leaders which put me right out of contention but I was enjoying running near the front with out being stuck in traffic as has always happened with me in WC.

After the initial laps I became more comfortable and was able to push and almost keep in touch with the leading group of drivers, which is basically how the rest of my race went. No real traffic problems or dramas as I always had a comfortable gap to the cars behind me. Near the end was a pleasant surprise to get lucky with the Bruno/Ernesto incident, which gave me my podium. Ash racings best result im sure, Sorry Roald lol.

I still would have liked to do better though,Silverstone was a tricky track to find pace on for me, so as usual I spent too much time concentrating in qualifying and not enough race testing and only had a few laps with the high downforce setup I decided to use right before the race which Im not sure was the best for me. Anyway was still good.

Wish I could continue to race in WC but the 4.30am races for me are too hard so hopefully next season things will be different. Had some good experience in the races this year and next time Im sure I can perform much more consistently.

Go Greco!!"

"Well what can i say... T1 was crazy for me. First two incidents were ok i managed to stay on track and then it was a mess coming to esses as RR car changed the racing like as he wanted to overtake the guy in front and i was near by him. So i got hit again and straight to the wall. Damaged suspension it was really hard to drive to pits, so i gave up on it, because i almost lost 1 lap to the leaders. No point to continue. Well again a DNF which im not really happy about it. Have to finish a race at least to gain some confidence. :( Grats to Greco who was really really good in race so was Bruno, Eny, Danny and Kolbe. Grats to them ;)"
