"Thanks for the congrats guys. When Dom spun he waited till it was clear before rejoining the track so it was very clean driving by him there. I know you said the Championship is mine but you've had computer problems and turned up late a few times which has helped me, and others too, score more points.

Congrats Fred and Jao.

I want to say that please always check your pedals, my accelerator was not always going 100% in Silverstone and possibly races before that so yeah, recalibrated them in windows control panel. I didn't push the accelerator all the way down, left a bit like a deadzone[you have to do this in calibration, you can't add deadzone to the full pressed end of the pedal/pot in the game, maybe DXTweaker you can do this and check them there] then press apply. Although I gave away a tiny bit of "throw", but with full throttle it's quicker.

For it to be 100% pressed down on the controller settings screen in rFactor, when you push it, it has to go ALL the way to the top. So if its one of the red bars that is curved at the top, it has to go all the way towards the corner and when it does it goes right at the top, a tincy bit of the red bar goes darker at the top.

I've noticed that if you lean, with fully pressed down pedal, lean/push on it like left or right with your foot and if the red bar comes down at all then recalibrate them."

"Not one of my best tracks, but I was hoping for a podium again if possible. Qualifying was not good, in both sessions I had many problems with traffic on some laps and was too conservative on others. Although I expected a better lap time, 5th on the grid was still good.

I got a good start, but got a bit sideways at t1 and slipped to 7th. There were some accidents up ahead of me and I soon found myself 4th. It seemed to me that 4th would be the best I could achieve, as Blair, Domagoj and Steve were just too fast. I picked up 2nd after Steve and Dodo retired, and kept it until the finish. It was much more than I expected and the points are always very welcome for the team.

Congrats to the Ghostspeed guys, both did a really great job! I'm really looking forward to the next race."

"Q1 was very good, was 6th with a 1:30.706 which was a personal best for me. Q2 was also pretty good considering I was very heavy and repeated 6th.

In the race I had a bad start as I had to lockup to avoid hitting my team mate and a few cars passed. I tried to pass Fernandez but I put a wheel on the grass, went wide and lost a position to Gomez. He was really a nightmare to pass, was loosing a lot of time as I had a lot of understeer behind him and that caused me to lose positions to Montanes and Barbosa. After 15 laps I finally got in front and then I could get in front of Montanes in the 2nd stop.

Schonbeck then came out of the pits just in between Barbosa and me and we were 3rd, 4th and 5th. As he made a small mistake, I took the chance to overtake and was ahead of him for a few laps with him putting pressure. I catched up with Barbosa and again suffered understeer behind him into the Schumacher-S and Machiel got in front again, but I had a better exit and tried to overtake in the chicane.

Unfortunately we had a colission there. Machiel did not see me and he steered normally and closed the door once I was just ahead of him. Once I realised he hadn't seen me I took all the kerb to leave space but we still touched. I think it was a race incident but a shame cause it ruined a nice battle.

Then I tried to catch up with Barbosa for the podium and finished 3 tenths behind him, which is a bit disappointing, so close to the podium, but I think it was my best performance this season."

"Another fantastic race and funny, a lot of them. Starting qualify i was able to do P2, i wasn´t expecting but it was a good result.

At the start i was able to defend my position and only lose one place to my team mate, Blair, but a few metres later me and Kag touch and i go down almost to last with my rear wing damage. I knew i had another dificult race like in silverstone, because overtaking is very very dificult. I was able to pass some guys, but when i found gomez it turn out to be a dificult one. I was able to pass him 3 laps before my pit stop so i push to gain some time to Christian, and the same happens before my 2 pit stop with Montanes. I could by a few metres be in front of Machiel when he was leaving the pits and after that it was just watch my back for him and Christian. At the end 3 place is fantastic after what happen in the first lap. One of the best races ever for me.

Congratulation for Blair (there is no stopping you), and Carlos for his consistent race, and also Vitor for his great FSR debut."

"Well... it was my first race ever within this series, and to be honest, I have very little experience racing F1 cars, yet... I managed to finish 10th and gather 5 points for the team!! I have to concede that this result was VERY MUCH the product of many, many drivers retiring during the race, but, hey... isn't keeping the car on track part of racing?? ;-)

During qualify, I wasn't really expecting much, and the results show my lack of a firmer goal (something to work on for the next race...), so I barely managed to get the last position and, obviously, didn't made it to Q2, but alas, I managed to race (I guess because there weren't that many drivers around... lol).

My race was exactly what I expected: I started last, did a few "good" laps NOT in last position, but then drivers started having problems and I began my sloooow crawl up the board. By the end of my first stint, I was in P16 out of 17 drivers on track, and then, almost at the end of my 2nd stint, I had an accident. Whether it was me making a mistake, spinning at Dunlop the puncturing a tyre, or puncturing a tyre, then spinning, the result was a LOT of wasted time, a very long and slow way to the pits and my hopes of doing a 2 stopper gone forever.

I slightly damaged the suspension when I spun, and also my rear wing, so the car was never the same and all I cared about was finishing the race. Then drivers started retiring all over, I was VERY slow on track but managed to make the remaining laps clean of major mistakes, and while being very cautious with the guys lapping me, managed then to finish the race in 10th place, which was really LAST place of the remaining drivers yet meant 5 points and the satisfaction of finishing the GP.

Congratulations to the winner, and to may fellow portuguese drivers, especially João Barbosa, with a much deserved 3rd place after some incident or other right at the beginning of the race.
I want to thabk my teammate Miguel Madureira for his VERY helpful hand in getting this done, and also Carlos Rocha and João Barbosa for their feedback and encouragement
And my final thanks to my team, VG, for the opportunity of racing this car. I will do my best to improve my driving to pay back for this privilege."
