"Perfect evening. 4th place in the qualification after a few problems gave me a lot of optimism for the race and it was proven later. After the start I surprisingly overtook Greco and I was driving 3rd until the end, bit boring...I was shocked that Greco didn`t have the pace so it wasn`t really difficult. So I scored my 2nd podium this year and I`m pretty happy for that. Bruno got closer to Greco, Diamond increased the lead again so all is perfect. Congrats to Roy and now luckily some break before Hungary in 3 weeks."

"I noticed that most of the front guys had more downforce then me and I used a different setup for the race compared to Ace. De Witt confirmed this with his wings on the forum. The dirty air effect helped me to stay in front of De Witt when we battled.

Blessed that some guys had problems and that moved me up some spots and am very happy to finish 5th in a WC race!

I want to say that please always check your pedals, my accelerator was not always going 100% in Silverstone and possibly races before that so yeah, recalibrated them in windows control panel. I didn't push the accelerator all the way down, left a bit like a deadzone[you have to do this in calibration, you can't add deadzone to the full pressed end of the pedal/pot in the game, maybe DXTweaker you can do this and check them there] then press apply. Although I gave away a tiny bit of "throw", but with full throttle it's quicker.

For it to be 100% pressed down on the controller settings screen in rFactor, when you push it, it has to go ALL the way to the top. So if its one of the red bars that is curved at the top, it has to go all the way towards the corner and when it does it goes right at the top, a tincy bit of the red bar goes darker at the top.

I've noticed that if you lean, with fully pressed down pedal, lean/push on it like left or right with your foot and if the red bar comes down at all then recalibrate them."

"Did my best qual in 2007, with 6th, that would be 5th, since Yannick had a cut...

did a terrible mistake at the start, by missing the RPM limit button, and I used to long time to find the button again when I realised I had missed the button, but since ther was some contact in T1, I got 6th out from T1.

Guess I had some damage in the first stint, since the car understeered more then normal in the start of the stint, and was slower then testing.
I can to the pit actually in 6th place, but because of the damage, Blair passed me when we was in pit on same lap (twice).
Had a small fight with Patrick aftert my pit, but could not held him behind, because of a small mistake in last chicane...
But after my 2nd pit, I came out 2-3 sec infront of Patrick, since I had done a much later stop then him, and from that time it was just to push and hope Patrick would not be to fast, and he only managed to get 1-2 sec on me on the last stint, and we also almost catched Blair, even he probably had the control...

Anyway realy happy to be 6th in a race I didnt feel to getting a good rythem"

"One of the most difficult races in my life, for sure. My qualy was ok and starting from P8 was very good for my expectations, but after 2 laps I was having a lot of problems with my PC and graphic card who was getting overheat and was very difficult to stay on the track.
After that I only try to finish without any problems because it was very difficult to get the pace in that conditions and even with some damage in the rear wing. Finally I was able to get one point, who was a great surprise after all the problems and im very happy for the team who score one more point and for me because I was able to get more experience. Now we need to work hard, fix the problems in the car and continue improving in Hungary."

"Well, that was not the result I expected for my home grand prix. The entire weekend I was not really happy with my setup.

In qualifying I cut and had to start from P13.
My start was ok, but I could not gain any positions. Then I had a few nice battles but overtaking was almost impossbile, if somebody did not make mistakes.

I hoped for a better race strategy and indeed, after my second pitstop I was in the points. Unfortunately I got a engine failure with 11laps remaining.

We have to check this, because it is my second engine failure this season and my engine settings were not different to them of my teammate."

"My event :
- Tough qualifying session (no legal lap)
- Good race
- Unlucky crual end but good for the team

Quali : I was lagged behind Bruno in my first stint, I did only a good third sector because Bruno was pushing away :) : 1:30.6. My second lap, it was the same thing with another driver ; I managed to make a clean top6 lap but I spun in the last chicane : NO LAP.
In fact, I saw that I had cut in the corner before the chicane (too bad, just for 2 cm). So I started from the last position -> 20th.
I've never did a quali like that in my simracing career, a real disaster.

Race : I started in last position and took a safe start with 65L. I overtook Kasimatis but he forced to pass in a closed position and touched me. A lot of drivers did mistakes and I was quickly 16th. De Wit came back and overtook me, I overtook him in the last chicane thanks to my incredible top speed (300 kph there). I overtook someone else just after that, but De Wit overtook me a last time and push away. I was behind Sebastian Schmalenbach but he did an unfair move, moving on the right, then on the left to avoid I take any slipstream ; normally, it's forbidden but he did it and it was too short to try to overtake at the end of the straight line. Then with my low wings I had some difficulty to follow other in fast corner : Spengler and Lapchin overtook me without any possibility for me to make something. I follow them, Lapchin came into the pit and I decided to make my effort. I was already near my teammate Sergio at the end of the pitlane and in front of Lapchin and Schmalenbach. I followed Sergio, probably a little slower than me but it was a good pace. He made a mistake and I was chasing Spengler. When I saw Lapchin come back on me, I decided to push and to come back on Spengler with some sub 31. I couldn't pass and waiting for the pit stop. Unfortunately, I couldn't pass Spengler and Lapchin gave a position by passing me. I wanted to finish and count on some mistakes : Lapchin did one, he spun but come back just in front of me instead of letting me pass, no way to avoid him and we lost a wing. I saw what I wanted to see... end of race, but I did a very funny race. Sergio finished 8th thanks to Spengler's engine and the team won 1 point. With the work we provided, it's not really satisfaying but I think my teammate and me took some experience and we could be more competitive the next one.
I would like to thank everyone who helped me, starting with Rogerio and Sergio and other who recognized themselves ;)

"Well not much i can say... qual was abit lucky as some drivers had cuts so iwas able to be in top6 which was good for me, because i didnt have any practise with my race setup, so i knew its gonna be hard but also good that i can keep the guys behind and learn how to drive it in my first stint. Anyway i was p5 all the time and catching Greco at the end of the stint, i think he was saving his car tho. :) Again bad luck follows me as my engine blows with unknown reason... was runing everything the same from last race and same like other drivers.. so i dunno i guess i have super duper luck :) NOT"

"First of all i would like to thanks Silva Eagle Rex Team for letting me race in WC, i wasn´t expecting and the invite of Fabrizio after my ACE race has fantastic. Thanks for the oportunity guys.

At Qualify i knew i wasn´t to fast because i haven´t work a lot in that setup, and with my pc trouble(crash to windows then go see a replay) i couldn´t do the verification of my qualify lap so i opt go last in the starting grid.

At the start i made a quite fantastic jump, and pass a lot of guys to be at 10 place in the finish of the first lap behind Stephane. I had manteain the distance to him, but Patrick came from the back and i need to spend some like with him, i was able to defend my self some times but he pass me(good fight mate). Then at the first pit stop my crew decided (agaisnt my decision) my repair the rear wing from a touch i had with Pat, so i lost my place to Sebastian there. But i was able to keep is place and launch in a attack (like alonso did to massa) and pass him, but then at the exit of the next corner(right one) we hit and i lost control of the car and hit the wall. I could make it to the pit but my suspension was heally damage so i had to stop.

Congratulation for Roy for the win, and Bruno for the second place, and my team mate Blair for another fantastic race. Thanks for Silva Team for the oportunity"

"A race to forget. After the start, when De Wit bumped into Trinka, I had to avoid the pileup, but I only just hit someone which damaged my car. I think this made my car undrivable, made 1 to many mistakes, and slid into the wall. So, overall, lets just forget this race for me, and celebrate how well Blair did. Congrats on his p5, well done mate!"

"Not much to say, in quals the game decided to steal me one attempt and then in race I was victim for two times in few meters.
Patrick apologized and that's good 'cause it makes me more relaxed to him personally, but it's very bad to end a GP like that.
I had a great start and could have fought for podium or at least for good points, as I think I had a very good strategy.
