"That was the most exciting race for me this season. I really enjoyed it, even I couldn´t win. And then David with 21.5... hehe well - just laught and shaked my head. This Italy guys are always 200% on their hometrack!! LOL Well, I decided then for 3 stop strategy to keep up with the guys in front of me. And I think that was the right decision, after my teammate lost his brakes with 2 stop strategy.

With my pace I was quite happy, due to the short time I had to prepare the car. But thx to Dennis for a good base setup. The car was already very good over the curbs and I had good mechanical grip. It was much better than last race, so I could push and drive good laptimes. Of course, I did a few mistakes, but David and Bruno were not as fast as expected. I risked simply everything, because I smelled a little bit of victory - air! :D

btw. 2006 in Indy my teammate crashed me out in T1. I didn´t say anything, because it was my teammate and he was really drunk!! But now again a similar thing in T1. This time with incredible luck for Bruno and me... we had 1000 angels to be on the right place at the right time. I´m sorry Yan, but such behaviour should be penalized with race ban!!

"I`m really happy with the 4th place today. I couldn`t race at home so last few last days hasn`t been easy at all. I wasn`t even sure if I will be able to race but today all has gone fine. In the qualification I was struggling a little and ended up 5th. After the start I gained 2 positions which I immediately lost after the first chicane. Later De Wit crashed or what and I was 4th for most of the remaining laps of the race. I wasn`t really pushing as I was aware of possible troubles with the brakes. The last 20 laps I took really easy just bringing car home. In normal conditions Im confident I could fight with Roy who was on 3 stops but 4th place is fine for me. Congratulations to David and Bruno as well as to Steve who has scored his first points in the world championship! "

"I'm very happy to get 7th position! I did do a PSR race before this one so maybe I was out of rhythm I'm not sure. Maybe because I didn't reboot my computer, I dunno but I'm a little unsure as to why I was so slow in qualifying. I was just as slow in the practise session. I do remember stuffing up the first sector though on both runs into turn one so that didn't help either because I thought that someone took out a brake marker.

I'm just explaining that though, I really am glad to get points from so far back. I know it's more because people dropped out, but in future races I do plan to get qualifying right."

"Must say I was very unsure how this race would be, as I had only done one small practice session early the week, as I had been practicing for my 12 hour race at Daytona, that was held night to sunday Europeen time...
I tryed to make some kind of a qual setup in the practice session on the server, but it didnt feel good, as I was not used to the car or track after doing 8 hours in that other race.

Did my slowest qual ever in my carrer, 18th and slowest, but still under 2 sec from Greco...just before the race start, I changed to a 1 stopper, since I belived it would be the best to do when you start from the back, spesially on this track where you can draft the others...

I think everything went ok, intil Fabrizio started to spinn some times, that also made me lose some time as he had to pass me 2-3 times, since I was actually just hoping to stay on the others, but it was not that easy when we started to battle a little, unlyckly Fabrizio probably stalled the engine later :(

after that I was just trying to do stable laps at 1.24 mid, as I was not realy comfortable with the car. I had a little longer 1st stint as I didnt know how much fuel usage I had, and pitted on lap 30, when I came out from pit, I noticed ther was a big difference on th car, since it was heavier, and on lap 32-33 I spinned in T1. After that I had to try to push and hope some of the other guys in front had to pit again, but unluckly it was only my team mate that had to pit.

at the end I got lucky and got 1 point as Sebastian got problems :(
But after all I am very happy with my result, thinking about how low practice I have and that I now have raced for almost 10 hours on under 2 days...
I am hoping to get a little more practice for Spa, where I also have my best FSR WC result...from 2005"

Had a better qual this time only +0.6sec over my i did a great For the race my 1 stop strategy was ruined at first corner at start by a stop and go for a first corner i gave back all positions yet....great Peppe and great ISI. "

"What an exiting race, with all overtakings and drama. After a few races not worth to mention I gathered myself and did some radical suspension changes, and knowing that Monza has been good for me before I managed P4 in qual, even with a few mistakes, so was reasonably happy with that.

For the race start I didn't want to take any risks, especially as I had to take care of my brakes due to the 1-stop strategy. I managed to pass Kuncman, but he passed me back and a few laps later I settled behind Schmalenbach and Rouault, hoping to see somewhat similar to France. But then I realized Rouault was on a one stopper, so I went back on full boost and tried to overtake him, but luckily he made a mistake in the 2nd chicane, which made things a lot easier for me.
After Greco's first pit stop and a tight exit where we almost collided, I managed to take the lead and had a mere 6 laps time before my first pit stop, but destiny came and decided to kick me in the ass, as my engine died half a lap later. With hindsight one could call it risking with the cooler settings, but based on my four finished test races I made the right decision.

The season has been long and hard, so I hope together with Trinka, who had a tough time competing in an other series, we will squeeze everything out of the car in the rest races of the season. "

"I was a little confident for a decent position in qualify but in the lap i completely wrong LESMO 1 and int he 2nd lap Saxen exit from the pit in front of me when i start my lap and so i totally lost the brake point of turn 1 because i lost the concentration.
The race was a disaster, for some reason i was not able to brake, i was forced to brake 50 or more mt before than usual and in my 18 laps i become really crazy in ROGGIA where i spun and stall the car, not a good birthday on track.Luckily now we have Spa and i'm also in holiday so i have also the possiblity to practice more :-)"

"Im really upset with myself. There was a great oppertunity here for me, and I blew it myself. I did a reasonably good lap in qualify, and it got me 6th place on the grid. I was satisfied with that. Then in the race, the first few laps were chaos. With Yannick going into turn 1, almost hitting the front runners. I saw Patrick sitting in the gravel, and I almost went off myself, but I saved it, and managed to get back on track. After some overtakings, I had 7th position for a long time, after Roy's pitstop I was 6th. I was a lot heavier than the guys in front. But still my pace wasnt even that bad compared to the front runners. I practiced a lot of long stints, and I knew laptimes would only get better. I was on a 1 stop, going untill lap 30. So I can only imagine, where I couldve ended up. On lap 15, I put my foot on the gas in the 2nd chicane, my wheels were on the curb, and then something happened, that didnt happen before ever to me in practice, the car just spun to the right, into the wall. I'm just so mad at myself, that I let this happen, in the future I should stop making these stupid noob mistakes. "

"Qualifying was a series of negative events and then in race bad luck reached the maximum possible: when starting formation lap, my connection decided to die. That's it, as sad as that.
