"WOW, I won! I'm really surprised... Q1 was horrible, only 10th but luckily made it to Q2. Q2 was better, did a good lap and I was 5th, 4th after Andansons penalty. My start was pretty good but I had too avoid Machi who didn't had a good start. Was 3rd after first lap but Hellsten retired so I was 2nd. Was closing on Keersmaekers but never had the chance to overtake him. He started to increase the gap but he made his pitstop a few laps earlier than me so I could overtake him. Me and Machi were 1st and 2nd, Machi was a little bit quicker but there was a backmarker who spun in front of me, luckily I could avoid him but Machi unfortunately couldn't. Keersmaekers came close to me but he made his pitstop again a few laps earlier so that wasnt a big problem. So I drove the car relaxed to the finish, and won my first race in FSR! I'm soooo happy with this win, thx to the team for the setups etc. Thx to PSRTV for the great broadcast! Now up to Bahrain!"

"Qual:

Each time I made an attempt in Q1, I made a mistake in the same corner. This caused I only had a very slow 1.31.9 laptime. 1.31.5 should have been possible to make.
Luckily, I still was fast enough to make it to the 2nd qual. There things were looking abit better, but I made a wrong decision going into the pit too early. I made a 1.34.1 time while 1.33.2 - 1.33.4 had to be done.

Maybe it has to do with the pressure I had... no idea, I had the impression I was quiet relaxed though.

Race:

I had quiet a bad start, I caused too much wheelspin... This is why I couldn't be 1st after corner 1. Driving behind Rickard wasn't easy as he caused major understeer in my car. I stayed at a save gap of about 1-2s.
Unfortunatly he lost his connection later.
For the pitstops, I came earlier in than my oponents. This should normally be no problem at all, unless you come back on track in the middle of some traffic.
I lost some valuable seconds there. This caused I was 3rd after everyone made their pitstops.
Suddenly an accident happened in front of me. One of the front runners was involved, so I got the 2nd place. From that moment, I had to close quiet a huge gap to Bono Huis. This wasn't easy, seen James Andanson was getting close to me.
After the 2nd pitstops, I lost again alot of time. All the effords I made closing the gap to Bono, were of no sence anymore...
I even lost that much time, that James nearly past me when he completed his last stop. I knew I couldn't win the race anymore, because I had to fight with James, driving on defending lines.
There were some nice battles, but I never gave up, which caused I could hold my 2nd position!

In a normal situation, I think the podium should be:
1st: James Andanson
2nd: Rickard Helssten
3rd: Bono Huis or me

Anyway, the fact I don't put my own name on P1 means I need to do some work these days/weeks.

GL all for the Bahrein GP!"

"Again this weekend it was very hard to qualify into the race, the field is so competitive. I was able to set my personal best in qualifying for the second week in a row, and made 21st on the grid before penalties bumped me up to 19th. The race went well and my car and strategy performed perfectly and I was driving very consistently. Then on lap 49 my engine gave in and blew. I thought I was going easy enough on it but it gave out suddenly with 8 to go. While it lasted I was excited to be running in the pack as much as I did in such a competitive field. Despite the final result I'm very happy with my performance and it gives me more confidence going into the next round."

"My qualifying was a disaster, starting from P15 after setting the 17th best time was not the result i hoped for. I started quite well and calmly and settled down in 11th position during my first stint. I was heavier than the others, being the only one on a 1-stopper, which helped me to even gain 2nd position on my teammate keersmakers at half time of the race. After my pitstop i really had to watch out because it`s quite unconfortable to drive with nearly 100L of fuel, so i did let bengtsson and richards pass with the certainity those guys will pit anyway...

Then my PC froze which is quite unfortunate after such a nice fight. I think i was on my way to a solid 6th place finish, maybe even more as i wud have been close to kanitz after his pitstop. However, congrats to bonos 1st FSR victory and to my podium teammates keersmakers and andanson!

Hope for a better pace and more luck in bahrain"
