"Finaly! First win of the season, Great feeling that hopefully all my pc problems is gone..
Race was good, made a perfect start. Pulling away and found a good rythm.
Only part of the race how was tuff, was the last 20 laps with Bono.
I made my stop 3-4 laps earlyer, and that almost cost me the lead.
Bono came out from pit 1 sec behind me. And omg what a last 20 laps..
One mistake could cost me the victory. But i manage to keep the car on track, no mistakes, and first victory of the season!
Finaly im back in the championship :)

"Great race! Qualifying wasn't good, made too much mistakes but I still had P5. Started from P4 because Andanson was placed at the back. My start was pretty good but I had to avoid Bengtsson who had a terrible start. In turn 4 Kanitz almost spun infront of me and I nearly hit him. I knew I had to pass him so I did it the next corner, bit risky move but it worked. Hellsten was really fast but I was suprised he went in the pits so early. After my stop I was only 3 seconds behind him. At the end of 2nd stint Hellsten was 8 seconds infront of me. After he stopped I could do 3 more laps, and unfortunately I just came behind him. If I had 1 litre more in 2nd stint I could've done 1 lap more, this costed me P1 I think. The final laps I was pushing really hard but u lose so much downforce in dirty air so its really hard to overtake. Hellsten made a mistake in the chicane so I knew I could overtake him but he defend very well. So P2 in the end, very happy with that, and congrats to Rickard for a fantastic race! Nice battle mate! "Quite sweaty! My driving seat is upstairs and facing the sun, like racing in a Sauna and I'm not finnish!

But finally a good effort. Scored a PB time in Q1 and that put me on P4 and in Q2 with good margin. Wasted a couple of tries because I was driving it over the limit, but still hooked it on my last two attempts which were 0.009 apart.

For Q2 I adapted another strategy, ran longer with one tyre stop. That paid off and was enough for P2 on the grid, my first ever front row start in FSR. I was running lighter as per Roy's advice so that was a factor in it, but still.

The start was just awful. Lost 5 positions in the first hundred meters. Then I was stuck behind Dyrlund who was heavy and thus quite slow Boosted down to save fuel and engine life. Luckily for me he spun after a couple of laps and I boosted up to 6 and put on a series of Q-laps and almost caught up with the first group when I pitted. The boosting down behind Dyrlund saved me an important lap of fuel.

Out in P11 I think, lead heavy and running quite comfortably in the midpack, low boost saving fuel. Once they pitted I climed right back to P6 and catching Nebojsa. Then he made several errors in S3 and I got a go at him in T1. Didn't make it, but he ran wide and I could pass anyway.

Started my chase for Stefan who was a way up the road. Didn't really catch him until he was caught up behind another driver and had to slow down. Then the other driver ran off the track in T4 and I was P4 right behind Stefan.

Was quite content with that, but then Stefan made a mistake and ran wide out of the chicane with only a couple of laps left. That made it really easy to pass and the podium was only about bringing the car home in one piece. Selected boost 3 and drove it home nice and easy for my first career FSR podium.

Also big thanks to Roy for being such a great guy and helping us earthlings out with both setup and driving.

Nice to spray some champagne on the podium listening to "du gamla du fria". For Rickard unfortunately (snyggt kört förresten) but he and Bono were just too quick today. Two twisters and two swedes in the top four make me quite happy with this race weekend. "

"My retirement was due to engine and not an accident as stated in the race results.
I felt some power lost during the last stint and I thought it was a problem in the throttle pedal, but it was the engine dying - with radiator at 3 and boost at 7. Wired."

"I couldn't get any luck at all this weekend. I had a busy week and couldn't get much practice in the days leading up to the race. During Free Practice and the first qualifying group I saw I was far off pace, but didn't have to worry about making the grid. My PC crashed during Qual2 but I was able to rejoin before race start. Lining up on the grid after the formation lap my screen froze and my PC crashed a few seconds later. After all the trouble with barely getting to the race I was disappointed to be out before lap 1 even started, I was off pace but missing the race really hurts, I'm hoping for no bad luck at Turkey."
