"Well this was an eventfull race:) I had a very good race from my point of vieuw That 1st lap was really really good and it helped me a lot further in the race Could not believe that i was 2nd after 4 laps At end of lap 1 i was 4th then Marques was trying to pass Keersmaekers who obviously is very good at defending i know him a bit from BR time:) And Marques tried and run wide in s3 slow section and i just went on the inside and if i poushed more i could have taken keersmaekers right away but was too risky:) But after turn 1 he had some oversteer moment and i could pass him and was 2nd
Then it was a matter of pushing as hard as i could but my car was not so fast this day thats why i choose a 3 stopper and Rouault came in front of me Congratz to roy for his victory and Marques for the fair fights lol at least 1 driver that does not critisize my driving style:) Unfortunate for him that he had the disconnection but seeing his points tally i dpon,t think it does not really matter
To eny i am sorry for helding u up mate before your 2nd pitstop i was not sure what to do letting u by but i needed that time also for Rouault... Great fininsh eny Finally a good weekend for me a the team
"Well the only positive thing about the weekend is the team result itself but I'm not happy at all about the general performance. My 4th place is a bit fake 'cause without those disconnections I would have been 7th or maybe 6th. I had a car wich wanted to be fighted for the whole race and it was really hard to push for 58 laps without making mistakes. Congrats to Patrick for his first, really deserved podium and yeah, sorry for the disconnected drivers...that was quite a bad thing."
"Obviously another race with an unpredictable outcome - the FSR WC is full of surprises. Our quali performance was a bit below par today, did a P12 although everything felt great and the lap was within limits. For race my top speed wasn't that great either, so I fueled my car up to the max and waited for drivers in front to do mistakes. Evidently what helped me most were the disconnections though, which eliminated Bruno and Yan from the front. For the most of race I had just Davison and Eny within reach, got past Davison during the first stops and overtook Eny in the pit lane on stop two, but failed to keep needed distance and he came past too easily in T12. P5 is not a bad result though from Turkey, a track that doesn't seem to suit Finns very well. Monaco will be one of the highlight races of the year, so moving on with anticipation there."
