"
Q1: 41.0, I had a vid freeze a little before we were moving to Q1, so I had to reboot and then rejoin the server (takes ages on my computer). Rejoined the server about 3 minutes in to Q1.

Q2: 40.9, solid lap like in Ace.
Q3: 43.1, still too slow compared to my PB in testing but wouldn't have made a big difference anyway.

Race (2nd start):

Starting 9th I was a bit worried about going in to T1 but I think we were all very clean in there, good job. Was 10th after JES passed me and 11th when Morris did as well.

Was battling with Eley and Joakim for most of the first stint, going back and forth. Eventually I got past them and managed to pull a nice gap for the pitstops.

I rejoined in clean air and knew could at least reach my goal of 8th place. On lap 25 I had just been passed by Disley after his 2nd stop and was looking to get back in front of him when Derecho came out of the pits in between us.

I was too greedy and tried to get a little slipstream from him, and while doing so I flashed in his righthand side mirror. When I went to pass him on the lefthand side he moved left and we touched. I don't blame Carlos because I should've just played it safe. After that I had some suspension and aero damage which cost me top speed and added understeer.

My laptimes never reached full potential after that so I lost the chance to fight for 2nd place. 4th place after Disley's retirement is a great result for me, more than I imagined.

Thanks to Phil for giving me this opportunity, it was fun but I hope Roy will be back with us soon. We miss you King Duck :).

"Subbing in at TMO this weekend. After an early disco in my Ace race this opportunity arose and I really wanted to get a proper race at Spa.

It soon became apparant that my Q1 pace was not nearly good enough for WC. For Ace it was ok to get into top ten, but here all I got was P14! For the race though it was ok, and with Dennis FL removed I was only a couple of tenths off the pace when it came to the race, which is very satisfying.

Starting from 14th is always a risk, but fortunately I got away without trouble in both starts. The first redflagged one was better, gained three positions, but the second was ok, even if I had a small lag down to eau rouge that cost me a couple of places down to 15. First laps I just stayed quite cool, knew I was down on top speed so trying to make a move on a car that is already slipstreaming another car would be no point. Had to wait for the field to spread out a little and take them one by one instead.

There were some great fights in the first stint, at one point we raced four abreast into the chicane, and got out in one piece. Seriously fun! Later stints were more uneventful. Got myself into some sort of gap with a couple of seconds both up and down from my position. With strategy and a few retirements ahead I'm pleased to score two points on my return to WC for the first time in a year and a half. Thanks to DCS for trusing me with his black beauty, and to Phil for letting me race for TMo."

"My debut in FSR World Championship didn't end like i wished for but i am still happy and i can take some positives with me. I made Q2 which i was happy about, i wasn't fast enough for Q3 though and qualified 16th for the race with an OK lap, on a better lap i think 14th was possible, but the race is long and i had a very strong race setup.

I made a good start and was 13th after lap 1, i was then able to to keep up with everyone infront of me in a train from 7th to me in 13th, i was just sitting there patiently, i eventually got to 10th on lap 8 thanks to some cars spinning, but on the last corner i was on the power a tad too early and i spun and stalled. I was quite gutted because a top 10 was very possible on my debut and who knows, maybe even 8th was possible too. So that really is a shame.

I would like to thank Dale Carrick for giving me the chance to race for his Yorkshire Motorsports team, i really enjoyed it and tried my hardest to give him a good result, but im sorry that didn't go to plan. I look forward to racing in the World Championship again in the future."

"In WC, I drove for Yorkshire motorsports after declining last three races. I improved my setup between the Ace and WC race and got into Q2 with a 41.5, but was not fast enough for top 10. I had good hopes for the race as the setup was much better and grippy in S2 with even less wing for s1 and s3. Unfortunately some guy rammed me in the back Turn 1, where after my suspension was bend like 45 degrees. Race over and disappointed!"
