"Excellent result for the team!! I am really happy to win for the first time in FSR WC and my goal is completed.

In Q I was 2nd with 0.002 behind Bono. I was not worried too much as I knew there is possibility to overtake. A
So at the start of race, I tried do do it but instead I got hit by Canapino and I was off track in first corner. I was not really happy about that kind of agressive driving but I suppose it is racing. Luckily we both stayed in race. So after that I really easily overtook him back and then I started chasing Bono. I had really great fight with him, but I made few mistakes in that battle so I had to wait little longer to overtake him. Then I managed in T3 because Bono braked way too much late and that luckily gave chance for Bruno to attack him. After Bruno passed him I was sure we will get 1-2.

In laps 20-26 I was little worried about my car as tires were really worn as battle with Bono and driving in his slipstream overheated it. I was just hoping to get to pits with respectable pace as I was really strugling in that part. When I made pitstop on lap 26 I was feeling really good in car, did not have any problems till the end of race.

In the end, congratulations to my team-mate Bruno for excellent driving once again, we really both give maximum today and it is very enjoying to drive with him. Also congratulations to Twister family for great comeback, only great teams can strike back in such fashion in only 2 weeks.

Looking really forward to the rest of the season."

"Pretty much a perfect result for the team!
First of all, congratulations to Domagoj for his first win in FSR WC, you rock :)

The weekend started well for once, the qualify was close but I managed to be 3rd, close to my normal qualify pace. But not close enough or else I'd be pole position. The car somehow felt different on practice and then on qualify. I'm not sure why, it simply had less traction out of the turns, and it wasn't a psychological thing as I had to reduce the steering lock to counter the lack of traction and it sort of worked.

Then the race started, I did a reasonable start but not perfect .. Agustin did a better one but he was impatient into T1, braked late and collided with Domagoj. I thought a 2008 T1 incident would repeat, but fortunately it didn't but I lost 2 positions .. Patience! Managed to get those positions back thanks to the lower wings setup. I was running 3rd already by the end of 4th lap I think. Then I managed to close the gap to Domagoj and Bono, passing Bono eventually and closing the gap to 1 second to Domagoj before the pitstop and pitted 1 lap earlier... that's where everything went wrong, did all sorts of mistakes due to my new driving position and the keyboard being on the wrong place. So I got overtaken even, and lost vital time to Domagoj ... ah well. Later Bono retired, I just took the car to the end and tried to save some fuel as I was running short 1 litre on fuel.

See you in Malaysia :)

"Have a excelent qual session, I finished in 4th just 0s095 of poleman. Is a great result for me and expectations for the race were very good.

I have an excelent start, and get 2nd position. I arrive together whit Malezic and he enter in T1 very open, I brake perfectly and not because it happend he take the curve as if he was alone and hit me. Luckily I did not lose control and not break the car.

Then the setup was not good for the race, and the wings are very high in comparison whit others drivers. My laptimes were not fast and lost many positions. Luckily did not mistakes and finish the race in a good 6th position.

Thanks Chirstian Smirnoff, Patrick for the help and all Faster Than Speed.

See in Shangai, in Sepang I shall not participate because race in reality and is impossible paticipate in Sim-Racing from where I will stay."

"
Quali: Incredibly tight, less than 0.6s behind pole and I was only 12th. I was relatively satisfied with my time. I need to try to improve my quali-pace, otherwise my season will be very difficult.

Race: I was very cautious in to T1, should've been more cautious in T3 I guess. There was a big traffic jam suddenly and my front slid in to the pack, frontwing gone. P8 in the end after some nice battling and misfortune for others. My pace was worthy of a better result but I need to show it in the results instead of saying it here, maybe next time."

"Good race for me ! First point in WC in my second race. My goal was only to finish in the same lap as the winner, because I needed the full WC license, so I am happy :)

I couldn't do nothing in qualy, so I tried to be carefull during the race, just without doing mistakes. Hopefully to me, a lot of people retired or had problems, so I could fight to catch some points, finally only 1, but well deserved :)

A bit sad for my teammate, we did together good testings, but he couldn't show his race pace in one of his favorite tracks.

Can't wait for Sepang ! :)

"Not much to tell about from this race. Lost my front wing in the first lap when cars where chain colliding and rejoined back in last. Had some nice fight with Ben but apart from that there wasn't much to tell about. Thanks to DHR and Damian for giving me the opportunity and hopefully the next races will go incident-free."

"Screwed up Q very bad, 24.0 wasnt what i had hoped for.

Started P13, decided to try to be aggressive at the start and gain a few positions, wish succeeded and P9 after lap1 was a pretty good start.
Sadly someone went for my rear wing in T3 on lap 1, and a got some rear wing damage that made my car understeer alot on corner entry.

Due to that i decided to go for a 2 stopper.
On lap 18 i had massive understeer and started locking up my front wheels, so new tyres was the only option.
It started out pretty good, was running P5 in the 2nd stint on lap 34 when my screen freeze for about 10 sec.
When i finaly started running again i was P8 behind Greco.
Once again i got massive understeer around 18-20 laps into the 2nd stint, so it was time to do my 2nd stop.

Pit on lap 39.
Came out in P10 and closed the cap to Fredrik Nilsson quite fast.
Sadly he hit the inside Anticut in the fast chikane, and i had nowere to go.
Did my best to try to avoid him, nearly missed, but we touched and my front wing was gone and i also got some suspension damage.
Pit again, 23sec to repair and i had to catch 16sec up to Saxen in 8 laps.
Closed it down to 10sec in 2 laps when i lost it in S2 and hit the wall.

Race over, had a very fun race tho, alot of good battles.
Im very happy for my team mate Blair Disley, with a hard first race at Bahrain and come back and score a podium is a fantastic result for him and the team!
Grats bud!
Looking forward to Sepang in 2 weeks!"

"It was an okay race, of course very bitter sweet after seeing my team mate Atze disappear when in the lead, for the same reasons as myself last race. I am very sorry for him of course and we have to look at this to make sure it will not happen again. Anyhow, I messed up my Q2 lap pretty badly which made me start in sixth position. Saxén did a nice job of qualifying 5th, but in the race he held up me and Mikkonen all the time, so it was very frustrating being stuck behind all race, knowing we could challenge the top guys. It is really, really difficult to overtake this year, especially on a track like this, so I was just lucky that Mikkonen lost the car for a bit in turn 3 so I could overtake him. I myself had some hairy moments under braking a couple of times, but the car was very nice to drive all the time so it was no problem. Saxén’s engine started to smoke on the last lap, so I saw my opportunity and made a pass to take third in the end, which was a nice reward after all the frustration and the disappointment after Atze’s retirement. This is my best result in FSR so far, so I would again like to thank Twister-Racing and all members for doing a splendid job here."
