|"Q: Did only manage to do 2 fast laps as elctricity went out. Luckily I managed to get back on server but had to settle with 5th position.|
R: Start was good, gained 1 place and after that was following 3 leaders.
On lap 3 Bono tryed to pass Malezic, they made little contact and I was able to gain 2 positions. After that it was matter of staying close to Ronny. We pulled away from the rest of the pack.
I made my pitstop 1 lap earlyer than Ronny and I managed to get in front of him thanks to good pitstop and an outlap. Second stint was more or less saving the tyres and car and at the same time maintain the gap with Bono and company. Ronny was following close behined but there was no need to fight as it would have cost time and tyres for both of us.
Bono made his final stop 1 lap earlier than me and Ronny and he closed the gap with me and got past Ronny. As I was not interested in fighting til the final corner I decided to push and create a gap. As I started to pull away I knew that if I make no mistakes I can win it.
Big thanks and congratulations to all the team, superb job. hopefuly we can carry the momentu to the next races."
|"Quite a good result on a track where I struggled a lot, especially with the tyres. I did a good qualifying again, very close to my pb, just not fast enough to be on pole. I had a very good start, got a great tow from Malezic and was about to go to the right to pass him. Suddenly he steered to the right and we made contact, I guess he didn't see me. I tried to pass him on the outside in turn 1, but didn't work out and then I had a bad exit out of T2 so Ronny could pass me again. Ronny then started to fight with Malezic, which helped me to get close again. I tried to pass Malezic in turn 1 but my rear brakes locked and I lost the car a bit, ran a bit wide and hit Malezic, sorry for that. A lap later I passed him easily. Unfortunately this battle really messed up my tyres and I was struggling a lot, so I decided to pit early. This worked great and I could close in on Rasmus and Ronny, but after that the gap increased again. So I tried to jump them in the pits, I pitted earlier again and I jumped Ronny and was on P2. Rasmus was too fast today, congrats to him, perfect drive. A great weekend for Precision, lets hope we can keep this form in China."|

The race was realy good, because I could catch Domagoj in the first laps and
after that I had no pressure from behind and could do some realy quick laps, but my both Pitstops were a bit to late, so Rasmus and Bono catch me... I was a bit quicker then Bono but i would not enter into risk at the end of this race...
All in all I'm quite habby about my first podium in FSR and about the performence from PM.
|"Q went well, was really surprised to be on pole considering our pace and truth is that we again lacked some pace, but somehow I nailed this lap 1.31.729 to be just 0.001 in front of Ronny. It was my PB by quite a large margin. Anyway I expected PMo cars to overtake me in first 2-3 laps and that is like happened.|
In race I did a good start but there was really no chance to keep this guys behind. When 3 PMo cars passed me we were all to close and when you are on limit with other driver you don`t look behind which did cost me losing positions to David and Bruno. It was really hard to keep others behind with our low top speed but that is racing. From then on I knew 4th place is maximum if I beat Bruno and David. I got feeling I was losing some time behind them so I tried to pass them both and did in half-way through race. It was all clean, maybe little to agressive with my team-mate, I really did not want to look like that - as I say in car it looked pretty much under control and clean, there was really no danger there from my side. If I did not try and pass I would not beat David in any case as I am stopping always lap later then Bruno and in that situation 2 laps behind David. So later in race I managed to get close to Ronny but I gave up from this fight and decided to save the car. There was no point to race this guys today, all I could do in this fight was to make contact and retire. 4th place is good result at the end, as we god valuable points for championship in race we struggled.
In China will be really hard once again but we will give our maximum once again and wait for our chances."

I did one of my best qualify laps, just within 0.050 of my personal best, but of course it wasn't enough, these days people do personal bests on the qualify, so I could only do 6th place.
The race was a bit chaotic from my part, and my problems with the braking in this mod became apparent as I missed 2 overtakes to David Greco due to "supposedly" late braking, but it was simply because the tires lock too easily for me. I lost too much time fighting with him, ruining my tires on the process and PM simply got too far.
Congratulations to Dodo on a very strong race, to Rasmus Tali for his first win! And to PM for the podium, too strong this time around, hopefully we can fight back once again.

|"Well, nothing much to say, obviously our team cannot develop properly a setup for this car. As the competition is very tough, I hardly expect to make some podiums at the most, maybe in my favourite tracks. |
Now China, one of my worst track ever. Doesn't suit my style at all."
|"Overall I'm happy to finally manage a race without issues, too long since the last time. Qualifying was tight and I improved crucial tenths on the last run to take 8th. Start went perfect and I climbed a further place, from where on the race was pretty much status quo. Managed to control Puumalainen behind me and had to overtake Bengtsson who was on 1 stop strategy. Towards the end the gap started closing to Greco, but it wasn't enough. Apart from slight understeer in stint 1 the setup was perfect, so I'm really pleased to see the young guys could make use of it and score a historical 1-2-3. Considering my performance, the track has never suited me very well. In that sense P7 is pretty much a maximal result, especially considering the level of the guys ahead. Hopefully the momentum of the team carries on to Shanghai..."|
Quali: P9, I was quite pleased with this. My best qualifying of the year so far.
Race: P8, I wasn't very confident heading in to this race. I tried a lot of last minute setup tweaks but eventually just went with what I had been using a few days before the race. Had some nice battles, even if they were shorter than in the first two races.

Q went okay this time, I was satisfied with the laptime and tried to the best out of it.
R went not so well. I made a big mistake in the F-lap in which I didnt watch te tyre temp, back on grid I saw about 60 degrees on each tire which isnt good at all. Due to that I losed 4 positions in the first 3 laps, very disappointing thing because I hoped for a better result than 9th in the end.
I have had some good battles and fun but thats not the no.1 reason why I am racing.
Driving on loan to FTS this weekend. Due to late notice I could only allocate after the allowed time and had to start from the back of the grid.
First lap was quite smooth, managed to overtake a few cars that had problems off the line and one who ran wide in T1. In the first laps I could pick off people quite easy actually. Blair was a problem because his top speed was very high but once he managed to pass a guy I followed. The he pitted for a 2 stop way before I did for my one stop and that was the end of it.
Tyres held up very well tbh. I was just managing them and driving clean and within my limits. I pitted on lap 28 and got back out to drive a long final stint. I was overtaken by a few guys with much fresher tyres, nothing to do about that but in the end I think going for 1 stop was the right call from where I started the race. Last point for P10 and a maintained 100% scoring rate as a WC-substitute for the FTS-team. "

|"My race was quite compromised by my penalty to start from the pits, so ending up 13th today after a couple of overtakings will have to do for this time. I knew my pace pretty good here which led me to hope for the points, but it was not possbile today. For the next race in China I aim to be in the top ten. I want to thank Roald Reurink and Brian Fowler for giving me the opportunity to race in the World Championship, so next race I hope I can give them some points."|
|"It was my first race since 2007 here and I was very happy to participate in WC. Thanks to Pedro Rodrigues for his confidence to replace Laurent Keersmaekers.|
Qualifying session : I did my PB even if I didn't practice much this aspect. I was surprised by the level, I started only 12th.
Race : My strategy was 1 stop but I knew that the start would be crucial. II made a mistake and let Boost 1 for the start => from 12th to 16th. Then I followed a group of drivers who were fighting hard. I lost many times behind them and the lack of habits with slipstream and drag on this mod was fatal, I was unable to reach my "normal" pace and overtake them.
I wait for their pit stop to drive more comfortably but my stint was a little too long and I pit 1 or 2 laps too late. My second stint was much better with consistency but I felt that my expectations (1 point) was flying away when Poniatowski and Puumalainen overtook me.
Finally I tried to finish, knowing I had no point today.
I didn't feel to make a bad race but simply the level was too high today to be able to get a point. Thanks to everyone for the fair play, it was really a clean race !
I would like to thank my teammate David for his help concerning setup, and congratulations to PM for their Top3, really impressive. I hope GS could strike back during the season.

And this year was no differant
Starting 10th which was the maximum for me today
And in race it only got worse my car was sliding over its front tyres my rear and was overtaking me when braking into the hairpins and slow chicanes
that was it for me today p15 had some great battles again and was clean and hard racing again

Came to race day.. nothing again.. my pb would have got me 10th on the grid.. and my race pace was better than it had been in testing but just not good enough..

Race start made up some positions, had good fights with hellsten, wheel started double shifting on downshifts over reving the engine, it did this 3 times then i saw in my mirrors that the engine was smoking....turn boost down from 5 to 1 but it still only lasted 3 laps after the smoke started!!!
Also got a stop go for speeding in pits!
I was better prepared for this race than the other races so far and my pace was "ok".
buying a new wheel if im to continue racing!

Couldnt get the car to turn mid-exit corner.
Q didnt work out at all, over 0.5 behind my pb.
Race started out pretty good, with making up a couple of spots.
But a few laps into the stint i was so, so slow.
In S3 i had a hand full just to try to get to turn.
Decided to pit on lap 14, felt good first 2-3 laps.
But then i front left was overheated and it was undrivable again.
Really have no idea what to do about this, tryed all different things in the setup.
Tryed almost all my team mates setups but mine had the best front grip, and it was still undrivable!
Lets hope for something better at Shanghai."
|"Not a good race for the team. We worked hard to have a competitive car here in Sepang, but was really difficult. Had not a good qualy and I had the feeling that I was not able to demonstrate the potential of the car, think that we had a little big more there.|
In race I was happy with the start and being in P8 in the first lap made me feel confident to take a good result here, but I knew that to make that happen it was mandatory to take some risks specially in the first laps to make a gap with the guys behind, unfortunatly a mistake cost me the race, so nothing more to say. Now its time to focus in China and work hard with the team to improve our pace."
