|"I had a good qualification lap which was enough for 2nd position.|
In the start of the race I wasn't too sure about my pace so I tried to be careful and avoid too much fighting with others. I saw Malezic was lagging quite badly so i preferred to leave some gap to him. He was possibly slightly faster anyway.
I didn't see what happened for the others at the start. I just noticed there was basically no one close behind. Shortly after that Malezic lost connection and i gained the first place.
After that i was just driving around alone. I expected Rasmus to catch me, but it seems he had some damage which was slowing him down."
|"Q: Made small mistakes on my fast lap and this year it costs a lot of positions (8th place ,2 behined pole). I knew I had good race pace so I wasnt too sad.|
R: When formationlap began I saw almost all cars laging a bit, some more some less, so I decided to keep reasonably safe first corners not to cause any damage because of that.
When lights went green I gained 1 position and as lag was still there and traffic was tight it wasnt easy to keep clean but some how first lap ended without troubles.
Some laps later when I tried to pass Greco he turned into me and we had massive contact wich also caused damage. Few corners later when I was outside the corner he leaned into me twice in 2 corners wich caused further problems to my car. When I finally got clear of him I understood that both of my front suspensions were damaged and car was trying to steer left.
I tried to pit as early as possible to fix the car but it had already cost me 4-5 seconds, damage also added further 6-7 seconds to pitstop.
I knew catching jaakko would be difficult but I knew that if I stoped earlier than him the second time I might have some chance.
When it was time to make second pit everything went perfect, I had to pass Canapino who was on old tyres so I knew that I shouldnt lose too much time behined him, somehow for the second time this race I found a driver who was ignorant enough to run into me while I was passing him twice, first time in the fast left hander beginning of s2 and second time in the hairpin after the backstraight, "lucily" I managed to escape without damage but lost over 3 seconds in time.
I then saved engine and fuel til the end as there was no way I could make up the gap with Jaakko anymore.
As I am disapointed with the final result, I can only hope that this kind of mad driving will not become normal sight in FSR.

as you can imagine I am very happy with both Q and R result.
The race began good and ended even better. I could find myself in P4 after T4 but unfortunately I have had low topspeed so I havent defended much while the faster guys overtook me on the straight, I knew the race is long and I got many reserves in engine life and pace so I tried to stay behind and watch what will happen.
I have had good fights with Patrick, David and Augustin and Blair. From my point of view only David and Augustin defended very hard, I needed to stay calm and try an overtaking manouver again and again. Finally I could end up in 3rd without damage and other annoying incidents. Congrats to Jaakko and Precision."

Qualifying was so close just can,t believe it
I did good sectors especially in sector 1 24,7
But i did not hook up a good lap together still 1 33 8
Which places me 7th on the grid i hoped for a bit more higher up the field
But 0.177 from the pole position time and still only 7th shows how close this field is
The start was ok and had to be a bit carefull
Then started to settle into the race
Since yet again i was lacking topspeed passing and defending was really difficult again
Had some great battles again especially with my teammate Canapino was great fights think Christian had it on his nerver hahha
Had fun battles with Poniatowski,Tali,Greco,Disley,Hähnel
Tali and Hähnel where simply to fast tried my best to fend off Hähnel
But could only for couple of laps in the end
Was fun to the 3 way battle 5 laps from the end were going into last corner my teammate running wide somehow Hähnel touched him and lost front wing and me coming sideways into last turn sliding past Hähnel lol nearly losing it
Now i know how my teamboss must have feld when he watched all this hehe Also great fight with Poniatowski i could fend him off for long time but when he get a run on me into the slow hairpin i defenden and there was simply no more room touching the high curbs and spun the car losing a poticial podium anyways i am still very pleased with 5th today
Also good fight with David Greco i am sorry i touched you going into the slow hairpin luckily it was no hram done as i could really brake late there
Was a bit naugty David pushing me onto the grass but in the end him 4th me 5th we both can be very happy i guess

|"Moderately satisfied with the result. Again, I just tried to keep out of trouble most of the race to finally score some points for DHR, which believe me, wasn't easy in today's chaotic field.|
Qualifying was again tight and despite a close to pb time I managed only an 11th place, from which I knew there would be problems in the the first laps. Got rammed into the side a few times by driver x, spun and was last of the non-pitted guys at one point. Thereafter pace was very good, managed to overtake a bunch of drivers and keep in the slipstream of Huis. In the final laps weird things happened and I was suddenly 7th, and almost caught 6th when Disley's engine blew.
I'm glad for the points scored for DHR, which were the first for the team since joining WC last season. Time for a short brake and then Barca, looking forward to that track."
|"Disastrous weekend in all aspects!|
Our qualify pace was there and I didn't make the most out of it, making constant mistakes on the last turn, if I didn't, I could have been pole, disappointing to be 3rd..
Then the race started, I did a reasonable start but left the inside to Ronny who managed to pass me on t2 due to poor traction, or lack of confidence, not sure.
Then I did the 2nd worst mistake of my career, was a bit impatient and tried to pass Ronny into t4, so I went to the inside, unfortunately Ronny blocked me and I couldn't avoid him at all and saw my wing flying... racing incident probably but it was my fault.
So I made a pit-stop for a new front wing, but the car was different, average of 5 tenths a lap slower, less top speed and more understeery. I did all I could but could only get up to 11th, until ... what happened, happened. Was lucky in the end, but pretty bad race in any case.

Q1: P12, terrible... too far from my PB
Start: After letting go of the LC I accidentally twitched finger and shifted to 2nd. ~P18 after start...
Race: A lot of incidents going on, somehow I was 10th on lap 7 but then I had an unfortunate accident with Lee where I lost my front wing exiting the final corner, which meant I had to do a full lap without it to make a pitstop.
After that I was P20 (last) with +16 seconds to P19. Had to take a risky 28 lap final stint because I thought that way I could get a point if someone DNF'd in front of me. Luckily for me, I got 2 points.
Obviously there were a lot of incidents in this race, hard to say what the true pace of anyone was. In the end I am very happy to score 2 points after such a horrible race. Hopefully we'll be back to clean racing in Barcelona.

|"Well, no comment really. PB in Q but it was only a 10th. Great start and race, all in all, i am happy with my 4th place in race!"|
|"I didn't think I was going to be participating in Q as I was told I wasn't, because of a bug on gpcos. But I did with a car more honed towards the race. Didn't feel great but I still managed a reasonable laptime, but reasonable isn't enough this year so I started 19th.|
I knew I would have a quick car for the race and after 10 laps I was up to 8th position (obviously helped by the troubles ahead of me). I pitted too late in the first stops as I was chasing Greco and Nilson and Greco came out with a huge gap ahead of me.
I chose the wrong time to rest the engine in the 2nd stint and quickly I was swamped by PM and Twister cars and I really didn't have a chance to stop them passing. Later in the 3rd stint I picked up the pace in case there were some cars having troubles and luckily there were and I passed Canapino for the last point."

But as saw in qualifying, 0.8 or 0.7 off the top time looks quite slow. I do not believe my driving is quite as slow as that makes it out to be, I believe alot of it is down to setup which compared to Malaysia seems to have gone backwards. Will still try and find more time in the setup."
|"It came very well, in P4 until Greco hit me in T1. After Hahnel go out in last turn and hit me and my car no continued as before. Despite that came in P7 and in lap 54 broke the front left wheel and finish my race.|
About Bono incident, happens when Huis tries to keep the outside line, leaving me all space on the inside, but without backing off and we touched. When that happened, I lost control and went wide. Wheel banging spun his car, which was a shame, but a race incident.
It's a shame because it could finish in TOP 5, but is racing. Thanks for all Faster Than Speed."

R: Unfortunately Bruno hit me in T3... He lost his front wing and I had some rear damag and had to go to pits... After that I tryed to push realy hard.
My pace was realy fast and 10 laps befor the finish i was right behind the Top 5.
I could pass Blair Disley and Patrick de Wit, but then I had a collision with Agustin Canapino and lost my front wing and had to pit again.... All in all my race was quite annoying and I lost again very much points to the Top3. Realy shame becaus, I was again one of the fastest driver in the race.
Nevertheless gratz to Jaakko and Rasmus."

33.9 was pb so was happy to nearly match it.. 13th was ok as my race pace was good !
Start was brilliant.. although it seems canapino is annoying everyone today as he tapped me about 8 times in turn 1.. mainly due to his ping i think.. again this needs looking into as its not on for people and i would put money on ping being an issue with huis vs canapino too
Race was going well was sat in edge of points in 9th 8th etc.. was sat just off p3 which was de wit..
was pased by a few and just let them go as i wanted to save my tyres and just finish the race.. as points were on the cards and i want to just get a clean reputation
then mikko caught me.. we left each other plenty of room i had no intention to ruin his race.. i left him room on inside and he left me room on out.. i then hit the dreaded kerb on the exit which just boggs the car down, i didnt even steer or anything but as he was trying to get a run on me his front wing hit my rear tyre.. it was such a shame for both of us but especialy him as he ended up wth the bigger pently..
we have spoken about it and we have both agreed, i hope that it was a racing incident and to show how sorry i was about it i even let him back past later on in the race and helped him get back in the points i hope ! :)
Thankyou to mikko as he could quite easily be biased with theaccident as he is the race director but i think this sort of shows we are in good hands with him as our race director !
well done to everyone who finished ! we had the pace today to fight with the front runners so im happy ! ash is back !!

|"Very bad weekend for the team. We were working hard to improve the behaviour of the car, and it seems we done it, but we were not able to show our real pace. |
Qualy was really bad, so I started from p15, and from then it´s difficult to take a good result. The race pace was good and I was running on points positions before my first pit, then I get in and in the pit lane someone exiting hitted me just when I was going to pit and forced me to put reverse in order to change the tyres.
I lost like 15 seconds and from then to the finish I was lost in the back places, had some nice fights especially with Lee Morris who was really clean, so at least I had fun in a difficult race.
Now it´s time to focus in our home gp, were we are going to put all our efforts in bringing the team good results with a special livery that we are going to show in our country."

Missed the Lap 1 mayhem and had some fun battles with some people. Some excellent passes from some drivers also. Very pleased with that.
Tried to stay on the lead lap but couldn't quite.
Thanks very much to ALL WC competitors for letting me compete today, especially director Mikko. It was a lot fun and a learning curve.
|"This was one of the craziest races I've ever seen. At the start I was a bit unlucky and lost some positions. In lap 2 I braked too late for the hairpin and I hit Rasmus and lost my front wing. Ofcourse a very stupid mistake of me. So then after repairing damage, it was just pushing 100% every lap, till the end where I catched Canapino and Disley. First Mr. Canapino destroyed Ronny's race, then when I wanted to pass him he pushed me off 4 times in 1 lap, the last one meaning DNF for me. Ridiculous driving and FSR should give these people heavy penalty, this just cannot be accepted, it was the most crazy driving I have ever seen."|

R: Started out good, I was running 8th for a while closely behind Greco until my first pit stop. I had a small incident there, I apologize if I compromised anyones race there. My own ended anyways, because I lost my front wing and had to pit the lap after again. Finally my engine broke down. A race to forget really, but at least my confidence was given a boost because I had good pace on a track I'm not very fond of. "

|"Qualy : Was quite good, as I did my PB, 1,34,3. P16 just behind of my teammate.|
Race : Firsts laps were a bit crazy, with so many battles, it was funny. But in lap 12 I was hitted by Samuel Libeert and my car was damaged. It was hard to drive and I did a mistake that cost me my race.
Now I must prepare the next race, our local race :) "

Me personally struggled with same problems as in Malaysia.
Overheating front tyres after about 2-3 laps.
Q was the best i could do. We in TMo lack speed somehow, but need to figure out were and why!
Race was short tho, lost my front wing in T3 and decided to stop.
Lets hope for big improvments as we return to Europe and Barcelona!
