|"A much needed result after some bad luck in the previous races. In qualifying I did an ok lap and got pole, which is very important in Monaco obviously. I did a good start, and a good first lap. Managed to pull a gap to David immediately. And then I was just pacing myself, not pushing the engine that much, not going too close to the barriers, and I was still faster than David. On lap 26 I made my first pitstop, and got behind David who was on a 1 stop. So I knew I had to pass him if I wanted to win the race. So I had to take some risks and went to the inside in the Nouvelle Chicane, I was already next to him but I guess he didn't see me because he turned in on me and contact was inevitable. But I managed to pass him, and from then on it was quite a lonely race, just making sure to get the car to the finish, and I did. A great and very important result for the championship. Thanks to all Precision drivers for their excellent work with the setups once again. "|
|"Amazing race Bono... really proud of you. Just a bit optimistic in the overtake on me, if I didnt open as I did, the outcome would have been different. Nevertheless, amazing pace, well done. As for my race, I basically raced really in bad shape, cramps since the first laps, I couldn't push as much as I wanted, but I don't think I would have won against Bono, maybe a smaller gap, thats it. Last few laps were incredible with Ronny, I had no rear grip anymore, and my tyres were spinning in 3rd gear! I kept cool and scored finally a podium finish for GS, and myself."|
|"Monaco was a quite great weekend ensure that it was my first time withe a F1 at monaco which is realy crazy...|
So the race was a bit shame because greco was on an one stop strategy and I could have done faster at the first stint.
After my first pitstop I was in traffic and lost quite a lot time.
The last stint was pretty good and could gain time to greco but at the end it wasn't inpossible to overtake him at the very last laps.
Well done bono who had a very good pace. "
|"Qualify: Kept improving from 1.13.7 to 1.13.5 to 1.13.4, was happy starting 4th on the grid|
Race: As expected Rasmus Tali had a better start and went to the inside on turn one. From there I was in p5 and I was unsure still if I would do a 1 or 2 stopper, so basically waiting for the guys to make their moves. As I knew from yesterday in the World Series race where I done 44 laps on one set of the tyres after wrecking my front wing :D , they would be fine. So eventually I had Patrick de Wit behind me and we both went for a 1 stopper. I had some nice pressure moments and battles with some guys. When everybody went for their second pitstop I went from p8 to p4 again and finished there. I saved the engine throughout the race for when it was needed, worked out very well. Very good race for me and the car didn't have one single scratch, damage free, pretty amazing. Very happy with the result, this makes my season a lot better with all the troubles first races. Congrats to the Racing Factory Team and thanks for the drive."
|"I wasn't sure if I would race or not until Saturday afternoon and 6th place, while starting from the pit-lane is a good result overall, although I wasn't exactly happy with my pace, I was missing some traction all over the track that only seemed to be fixed on the last stint when I reduced the front wing a bit more than usual. |
It was a pretty uneventful race until Jaakko forced Patrick into the wall and broke his wing. Sadly he didn't want to let me pass despite the lost front wing and that caused the incident which happened half a lap later, a chain reaction from Rasmus Tali who hit Lee Morris, who in turn hit me, damaging slightly my rear suspension and then Rasmus not being careful enough and hitting me on the same damaged suspension, making it worse. Fortunately it was drivable until the end and got some precious points.

|"Qualifying got me 11th position on the grid. Didn't expect to be so far off pole, but my race pace I expected to be closer than 0.7 per lap.|
Race finished in 7th. I had rear end damage from turn 1 lap 1, so my race pace was slowed. I was in 6th I think after the pitstops and hit the wall, needed to pit to repair. Then was 12th, and other drivers had incidents and I was able to get alot of positions back by the end of the race."

R: At the start I managed to overtake Bolier. I was cruising behined Ronny and Greco first stint and saved fuel and engine. I tried not to follow Ronny too closely as in some of the medium speed corners front end lost grip wich made car hard to keep off the walls. On lap 15 I fell a sleep a bit and the streets of monaco gave me a good wake up call, first corner of s3 I hit the inside curb just a little too much and it made my car almost roll, I somehow got away only with damaged right side as I had to pull out some "kit" move and drove on 2 wheels and landed back on 4 wheels.
Fortunatley damage wasnt too big and I didnt have to think about repairing it.
I managed to close the gap with Ronny and Greco again so I was back in the fight for 2nd position.
Though now it seems that I should have gone with 1 stopper as my tyres were in pretty good condition I decided to take 2 stop strategy. At the beginning all seemed good until I started tou catch up 1 stop drivers.
It was realy hard to get even a look as there is barely room for 2 cars on most of the track. I managed to pass De Wit after the tunnel witch was realy enjoyable.
After that I was again behined Ronny. Before the last stop he made some mistakes and realy slowed down, braking into last corner as I slightly steered left to avoid hiting Ronny my rear wheels locked as I hit the bump and it threw my car into wall wich cost me front wing and 13 seconds. After that frustration realy kicked in as I landed behined Marques who seemed slower but not slow enough, before I could start thinking about passing him, Morris came out of pit just between me and Bruno to make the day even worse.
Some laps later all 3 of us caught up with De Wit with worn tyres who was holding up Jaakko. So 5 man train developed and everyone were looking to keep or gain their position. I hoped for some little taping infront of me so I could win places, unfortunatley it came true and I lost my front wing as I barely touched Marques who had slowed down because De Wit lost his wing.
After pit I closed up on De Wit and Disley, I touched De Wit couple of times in the hair pin as he took some wide lines there and I had no where to go but luckily it didnt make him spinn.
5 laps from the end I managed to overtake him around the outside before the casino corner. He tried some freaky move in the hairpin and hit my left sidepod luckily I survived that. Passing Disley was near impossible as he had some lag and his top speed was too good so I had to finish behined him.
I cant be happy at all with this result but some small unfortunate things at the later stages of the race set the tone for my race.

Q: Bad, but last place in Monaco is almost as good as 1st.
R: Took it easy on the first lap, got stuck on the curb in Loews for about 5 seconds. Pitted early and managed to gain some positions. Was heading for 7th place when people crashed in front of me, but lost concentration and crashed myself. One point in the end."

Unfortunately Morris stalled his car in the fast chicane, exactly at the blind spot after the corner, resulting in an unavoidable heavy crash, otherwise would have been P7. Grats to Bono for proving the pre-race prediction right."|

|"Q: Best qualifying of the season, 7th, on one of my favourite tracks. Very nice. Was quite a bit off my PB, but it is very difficult to get a lap together here so I was very satisfied.|
R: Lost a position to de Wit at the start. Was running 8th and was chased down by Malezic for some laps but got some breathing space when he retired. Morris was then close behind and pitted a lap before me. I had damage repair in the pits which took 9 seconds, I missed to set the repairing off. Was then 10th, but made a mistake in St Devote and stalled the engine. A shame since we could have gotten some points again in the end, but that is life. Could simply not find any sort of rythm today.
And congratulations to Bono Huis for a fantastic drive!"

Manage to set PB in Qualifying. Once again, it was a crazy close grid!
Race started pretty safe, kept my nose clean.
After my 1st pitstop i lost the rear under braking down to Mirabeu, wasnt possible to keep it from the wall.

|"Bad luck here for me. I had a normal qualy what means starting 12th, so nothing strange. I was going on a 1 stop strategy but I had bad luck and Canapino was blocking me during all my race until my electrical problem. So I was running 1 sec slower loosing a lot of time with the people in front. |
I was confident to recover some gap in the rest of the race and bring some points to the team, but finally I had the problem and was not able to finish the race."

Was disappointed not reaching my Q time and finally ended up in P17.
Race went not better for me. The start was ok in the back. I survived T1 without damage but it didnt last long. After tunnel there was so much going on into the chicane, I wanted to avoid any trouble but got hit from anybody into the right side, it wasnt serious but enough to make my car steering into the right a bit. I could follow Canapino and Hellsten 12 laps but it was to exhausting to keep the car on the track when the tyres went worse and worse, so I decided to go to pit and repair. Out of the pits I missed my braking point into T4 while watching the mirrors, because I noticed that Bono is coming very close. Well that was my end because the suspension was damaged and on top I lost the FW. I will try to catch my pace back in Turkey. Congrats to all who survived and Bono for his great drive."
|"All in all bad weekend. We lacked pace more then ever, and plus I made mistake in lap 2 and damaged the car so heavily that it was only question of time when I will retire. Congratulation to Bono and PMo for great win and also to my team-mate Bruno for excellent driving."|

|"I wasn't in the pace, P13 in qualifying session, i didn't ajust my GPU so I had 25fps on the startgrid : After the tunnel, Disley wanted to overtake me but we touched, With suspension failure I couldn't brake and i touched Mathieu Prevot and I stalled, Race over before the first lap ! |

again 8th race start was pretty good was abalte to overtake nilson in turn 1
Then on lap 1 i got touched by a car into lowe hairpin
Was having an awesome race with great overtaking on Mikkonen and later Marques into rascasse i did not know Marques was pitting but looked cool i guess:)
Trying to fend off Precision cars they hit me like 6 times also Tali pushing me into the guardrail not on purpose but still was not needed
Then after my stop i was 5th and nothing unusuall and then 15 laps from end or so i know Mikkonen is clean racer but what he did was not ok
Ruining my race was lying 5th was happy with it
And Mikkonen just pushed me into the wall losing my front wing and so important 5th place
Thats all i can say only 9th but i kept my car out of the wall on my own behave lol(if not for others)"

Start was no problem. I couldn't pass anyone and no one was trying to pass me. I was just trying to find rhythm for first laps and stay away from the walls. Then De Wit braked behind me too late for the chicane and hit my car for some reason. Few corners later he braked again very late and went for a gap which really wasn't there unless I see him and give room. I know many other players would have just turned over in such situation and damage both cars.
I did early first stop to pass the cars front of me. I was amazed to see later that they were actually on one stop strategy. Later on my second stint I caught up the same pack I was driving behind earlier on first stint. I couldn't pass them so i waited them to pit in. My only option to pass them was to drive faster than them with my old tyres, which wasn't very realistic goal, but I was trying anyway.
After the second stop I came out of the pits behind De Wit again. This time I had much faster car. After few passing attempts I made a judgement error and touched back of his car causing him to slide to the wall.
Poor ending for the race from my part. I don't usually take too high risks, but this time there just wasn't enough margin for error.
Now we seem to have a long break and then Turkey, which hopefully is a normal race again."
