|"I didn't expect to win here, and that makes this win even better! I thought our pace wasn't that good, as we saw in qualy Twister were faster. But I could keep up with them in the race, actually I think I was faster in the first stint but I decided to stay behind Bruno to make a gap to the rest. Bruno and Greco pitted really early, I couldn't do that because the tyres wouldn't last long enough in the 2nd stint. So I had to do 2 more laps, I pushed like hell to try to stay infront of Greco but then I made a silly mistake in the pits and lost quite a lot of time and came out behind them. In the 2nd stint I passed them both but Greco pitted earlier again and he passed me. So then I was just waiting for the last few laps until Greco suddenly made a mistake and I got through. The last 10 laps I pushed like crazy to keep the gap to Bruno, but I knew if I didn't make any mistake he wouldn't pass me. Very very happy with this win, didn't expect it at all."|

The qualify was OK, about 0,150 slower than my personal best, but that's normal from me, glad to have done pole for the 2nd time this season.
The start was pretty uneventful and so was the 1st stint, Bono was strangely quicker than me in fast corners despite being on the dirty air but I managed to keep him behind me. The problems started on the 1st pit-stop, I did a pit-stop a lap earlier than I should have done, then tried to hold on the tires for 19 laps which was a mistake, it was almost blowing up on lap 32, where I had to slow down to not blow the FL tire and had to let Bono pass me. Then the last stint was OK again, I could hang on to the rear of Bono for the whole stint, shame David did a mistake on the 2nd last turn. With 2 laps to go, I closed on Bono to about 3 tenths, hoping to repeat what happened in Turkey but the car simply understeered so much on the S1 fast corners due to the dirty air that I lost the whole gained time again and gave up fighting for the win. We have to investigate why I can't follow cars at all yet others like PM can follow others quite simply, gain time on them even on high speed turns ...
Onto Germany I guess."

well in Q I missed my PB but OK within the top10 its easier managable to get into points finally.
The race start was good for me, I could jump Florian and settle myself on P7. I followed the field and waited for chances.
The first laps were pretty cool, it was great clean battles but then I stuck behind Ronny and Lee so I decided to go into pit and try to leapfrog them.
It worked out, I could stay infornt of them both when they pitted. With Fredriks DNF it was an almost safe position on P4 in the end because I knew I have much reserves in the car to answer Ronny´s attack in time. I always left an eye on the gap and finally could bring the car in P4 over the line. Pretty good result due to I have tested 2 days only. Thanks for the setup work to my teammates."

I started the race carefully and overtook I think one driver. After that I was mostly stuck behind other cars. It's very difficult to pass cars on front who have also slipstream of the car front of them, so I tried to be smart and attack later or when I thought I wont get overtaken from behind.
So I managed to pass some drivers and found myself later from 5th place. Not too bad but not awesome either. "
Quali: 30.3, new PB but still only enough for P10.
I knew I had decent race pace, so I was confident after my qualifying (I thought I would be much further down the grid) that I could score good points.
Majority of the grid made their 2nd pitstop a lot earlier than what I was comfortable with. I lost about 5 seconds because of this, but I don't think it would've made a difference because thanks to my late stop I was able to pass Prevot and then make sure he didn't pass me again. If I had pitted the same time as Jaakko, he would've probably been faster than me and passed me sooner or later.
P6 in the end, equaling my second best result of the year."

My practise was realy less for Silverstone but nevertheles was my quali bad again.
During the race I could pass some cars and moved infront to P4 with some very nice fights slightly befor the first pitstop.
My secound stint was quite boring beacause i couldn't gain time to Karol and behind me was a 4 secound gap.
Last stint was realy bad because I pitted very eraly, therefore my tyres got more and more worse to the end and I had to suffer a puncture almoste.
Next race is my "Home Grand Prix" So my target is the secound win! "
|"What a bad race! qualfying good 1.5 tenth behind my PB starting from 5 th position Morris was really agressive and passed me i didn't try to keep my position then he try to attack fred and he did a small spin and had to brake to don't touch him and loose there 3 positions and after the car was really bad to drive to did a early pit a 12 th lap and 9 sec in the pit!! to repair|
Then the car was really better but i was far, too far disapointed because i could be in 4 th position"
|"Weekend to forget realy on friday I manged to get pretty sick and I didnt even know if I could race but luckily for sunday fever went down a bit so I could race.|
I felt quite comfortable with my pace to challange Bono but on sunday when I first had time to try Q fuel as I was away from monday to friday it didnt feel good and I changed setup wich maybe wasnt best idea.
I tried to avoid any contacts first laps and start to overtake cars 1 by 1 but it didnt work out when I passed Puumalainen and after passing him I touched Bekker from the side as our speed difference in apex was quite big I got some damage and it set the tone for the rest of my race I had to push 100% every lap to do any considerable lap times and I still seemed to loose ,3-4s per lap because of damage. I am sorry for Bekker for making contact with him and hope he didnt get any damage from this incident.
Rest of the race was more or less quiet and some fights with hirrle and morris.
On final laps there had chance to get 8th or even 7th position but my move on final lap wasnt enough so I had to settle for 9th.

|"First time in almost three years I finished a race without damage outside the points, so in that sense the result is pretty disappointing. After an okay lap in qualifying my expectations were higher, but after the first few laps I got stuck behind Florian whose race pace was clearly slower. Obviously I tried to pass him quickly which ended badly, no room left into Brooklands and contact, causing a spin and costing about 6 seconds. In the last stint I wanted at least to try catch Dominguez but due to strategic compromise my tires were severly worn, ending up with some sort of puncture on the last lap. Time for some short vacation and hopefully with fresher mind towards Hocke."|
|"Least amount of testing, pace wasn't quite there and I had to do 3 stops as I had a lot of tyre wear. Therefore I knew the race was just for having some fun, which I did, with a few clean battles. Too few fuel in the end, so I had to cruise in the last stint too to just finish 13th.|
If I can sort out braking, tyre and fuel problems I will be able to do better."
|"Qualifying : Was brilliant for me, 30.5 and was quite a bit faster than my PB, still P15.|
Race : Was a terrible start for me and after like 2 laps I was in 19th. Got up to 17th and was stuck behind Kerkhof. When I passed him down the Hanger Straight I was able to slowly pull away, and match John Eric Saxén. Pitted on lap 13 and came out behind Santi, took me a while to get passed and here I knew I wasn't able to be anywhere close to the battle in front, so after I got passed Santi I wasn't able to pull away too much. JES spun but came out in front of me. He then drove away, When Dennis pitted for his second stop he came quickly behind me. I knew he wasn't in my race so didn't defend. Pitted with 20 laps to go and came out around 4 seconds behind Blair Disley and Santi. When they both pitted I was in 14th. Last stint Blair ate me up and last 3/4 laps we were battling. Came really close but he didn't have enough straight line speed and I held on to 14th."
|"Started from pitlane, so that cost about 31seconds. Then from lap 3 to lap 17 was battling with De Witt, which put me way back to about 57seconds behind the leader. He made a mistake and I got passed. |
I pitted one lap earlier than Niza, and was able to leapfrog him. Then 3 laps to go I caught Patel, coudln't get passed. End of race was 1m09 behind the leader, so only lost 12seconds over 35 laps, including the battle with Patel.
Happy to be closer on pace compared to recent races."
|"I arrived here very short of testing because this race was not originally in my schedule, despite to this I was happy with my race pace.|
I had a very bad start losing 3 posis in first half lap, then I noticed that I made a big mistake with my setup, the setup offered me a good lap time, but a poor top speed, I was able to follow Pattel and Kerhof, but due to my low top speed was impossible overtake.
After be stuck on traffic for some laps, driving almost one second slower than target time, I decided switch to a 3 stops strategy. Trying to do something different, because my low top speed made almost impossible think in overtake.
After some laps I noticed that this strategy was a huge mistake, I was not going to improve a position, in fact I was going to lose a position with Blair due to this strategical mistake.
On last stint I was driving carefully only being focused in bring car home on same lap than leaders.
I am sorry with the team, never is nice see you car finishing on last position. I hope be more competitive in next race, and of course, I am not going to repeat same strategical mistake."

The race would be very uncertain. We could have gone for the usual option of doing a 2-stopper, but to we decided to go for a 1-stopper to see if we could get into the top mix.
The car was absolutely horrible to drive in the first stint though, and I was very inconsistent since I did not practice on hard tyres before. In the end we think a 4th place would have been certain, but a stupid mistake of not knowing where the pit entry line is located, I got two stop and go penalties and called it a day. I was quite frustrated about it of course since we would have brought some good points home again, but sometimes you have these bad races. We head to Hockenheim pretty confident that Roaldo GtOmegaRacing.com can get a good result!"
|"Q: Did a personal best in qualify with a 30.2, altho I could even have done better, this lap, due to some wheelspin and minor mistakes lost a few tenths.|
I had a good start, even was alongside the rear wheel of Morris, but because it's my teammate I backed of a little bit, and lost a position in the first corner.
Then due to a bad straight line speed, I lost several position's in the starting phase, when I was 10th I was unluckily hit and lost a few seconds and was on the 13th place. Then I started to run low boosts and could keep the gap to the top 4-5 reasonble fine. After my 2nd pitstop I had enough fuel already saved and my engine was very good as well, I turned up the boost to 5-6 and set the fastest lap in that part of the race. When behind a car I went somebit too much on the curb and the car steered to the left and hit the wall end of race.
Altho I got a positive feeling to have my WC Debute for Ash Racing. The speed is there in only my 3rd race this season. For next race I hope I can collect some points for my team and be a better help with fine tuning the setups we create."

|"Nothing to say this weekend for me, had some family things that didn´t allow me to practice and made it to the race just in the last moment. I made a mistake in the setup as well so it´s was impossible to finish for me. |
Anyway im happy because David made a strong weekend, even without scoring some points it demonstrate we are going in the right direction so we have to continue working hard."

|"Qualy : It was a bit strange, the car's balance was different than in my testings ... a lot of oversteer, very difficult to drive the car. 30,7, it was 0,4s slower than my PB, so bad qualy. P16.|
Race : In race conditions the car performance was fantastic. I have some nice battles in the first stint, and after the first pitstop I made a stupid mistake trying to pass Hirrle, and I went out of the track in the last corner. Anyway I had luck, as I could avoid the wall, so I only lost about 5-6 seconds. Then the rest of the race I was trying to mantain the gap with Saxen, and it was succesful. P11, not bad at all starting from 16th and with that mistake. See you all at Hockenheim !"

The race was bad, pushed a bit to long trying to make it to a two stopper. In my inlap i got a puncture in turn 1 and lost a lot of time limping my car to the pit. The whole weekend i had trouble with my pace and I'm definately looking forward to the next GP at Hockenheim."
