Comment: A perfect weekend for me, taking the win and my main opponent in the championship, retiring in this race. Qualifying was great, my first lap was the best lap of the session as usual, took my 6th pole of the season. The start is always crucial here in Hungary, Dennis passed me immediately but then I braked as late as possible in t1 and I managed to pass him and keep P1 which was really important. In the first few laps I could pull away quite easy but towards the end of the 1st stint the gap was staying the same. I decided to go for a 3 stop strategy which was the best strategy for me, I expected Dennis to do the same so I was a little bit worried when he stayed out and went for a 2 stop strategy. Fortunately he didn't gain much time on me when he was on the fresher tyres. So in the last 30 laps I was taking it quite easy, and won my 5th race of the season. Super result obviously with Bruno not finishing, so I've a comfortable lead in the championship now. Thanks to the team for the great setup work once again.

Comment:
Quali: P7 with a 17.868, wouldn't have been any higher even with my PB.

Race: Took my usual careful start, slightly more aggressive this time which allowed me to pass Atze, but I still lost a position to Rasmus.

After the first stint there I was a bit worried after I rejoined behind Atze and David, but luckily they didn't fight too much and after that I could do my own pace.

In the last stint I had to drive on the limit all the time without making mistakes, especially in the final sector since Ronny and Rasmus were less than a second behind me for the last 20 laps or so.

I had made my last stop 1 lap earlier than I planned, and of course 1 lap before the end of the race my left front tire was delamatated (below 12% wear, it was below 10% even).

Very hard racing in the last laps, but I managed to stay in front.

Congrats to Bono and Dennis.

Comment: Pace was realy promising on Q and R setup but I wasnt feeling good yesterday propably because of lack of air movement and heat.

Had some lag issues as from my view cars were flickering a bit but got clean start and first few laps and I made up 5 positions.
After that I was quite confident to fight for 2nd-4th position, unfortunatley driving errors on two of my inlaps damaged my race and I ended up in 4th position.

Great job again from the team.
Looking forward to SPA where I want to rehabilitate my hungary driving.

Comment: Weekend was quite good.... better as expected.
I did a realy good quali.... I was 2 thents of a secound faster then my PB.

The race was Ok. Our strategy didn't worked as good as it should... so only 5th position. But I gained a bit points in the Championship and that was my target.
And gratulation to Bono how did an awesome Weekend.

Comment: Qualifying was a nice surprise. I was sort of expecting even worse.
Start of the race was normal as normal can be, which was then followed by long stint behind slower cars. After mid race people seemed to have disappear, which granted me the 6th position where I also finished at.
Not too bad, taking in to consideration that passing isn't really possible at this track

Comment: My participation in this race was unexpected, as I thougt I wasn't able to be at home. I didn't take part in the qualy session as it was a late decision, so I started in the last stop of the grid. In the first stint I managed to overtake de Wit, Bekker and Saxen. In the second stint I was less than 2s from Mikkonen. After 2nd pitstop I was behind David, just keeping our positions, but it seems he was on a 3 stopper and he stopped. Unfortunately Mikkonen was far from me in that moment of the race, so I was just saving tires and engine, I had more fuel usage than expected and I finished without fuel, but it was enough to finish 7th, my best result in WC.

Comment: P8 is pretty much what I expected from Hungary, but due to a damaged car it required more an effort than usual. After a standard qualifying cars were having problems to fit into T4, causing some rear-end damage which took a while to get used to. After that the race was pretty quiet until Prevot with newer tyres braked a little too late, bending my car further. The two-stop strategy worked reasonably and I was able to keep Greco behind during the last laps despite of severly worn tires and almost running out of fuel. Overall this result was as expected (probably one higher position would have been possible without damage).
Congrats to Bono for making the best use of the setup. On towards better tracks...

Comment: Good qualifying, bad start dus to a long first gear. Then tali pushed me in second turn which gave me a bad first pit stop due to damage.

They i was pushing hard and loose my front wing trying to overtake someone
caming back to pit and then pushing hard and passed de witt 6 lap before the end and scored the last point.

Comment: Hello, I'm happy to have finished this race. Leaving the pits, it was not obvious. The level is very high. When the light turned green to start from the pits, the first pilots were already far away, so it was difficult for me not to concede a lap behind the leader. I hope to progress and my tub a little closer to the best.

Comment: Well struggling a lot in Qualifying again!

only managed 14th
Then trying to making the best of the race

Was fighting for 10th place for the single point position
With Prevot great fight then we went side to side almost turn 3
And there was no more room for 2 cars and we touched sending me into the wall so a possable 10th was the maximum today
I finished the race so i must be pleased today

No hard feelings for Prevor was a racing incident nothing more to say
I did not wanted to backof and these things happen

See Ya at SPA

Comment: The qualify looked promissing starting from p10.

I had a good racestart and manage to overtake some guys untill just before turn 3 where someone just braked massively instead of just lifting so no where to go for me and lost my fw.

Then it was just chaos because all the cars behind wanted to overtake me. It was very tight in those corners and i had no where to go really. Unfortunately Bruno lost his front wing when he tried to go around me but I couldn't steer in the corner because of the massive understeer. Slowing down in corners wouldn't help me either when cars are close behind me.

Anyways after I pitted i drove in neverland and could do some good pace. After a while i had some nice battles with the guys from the back off the field.

In the last part of the race i went a bit to wide in turn 3 which putted me in a spin into the wall. I was lucky i had my both wings on the car but I was also stuck on the curb. After some time i managed to get off that curb but a corner later i lost my rear because my rear tyres where totally gone. It was some hectic situation and decided to stay on the grass and let the whole field pass me. When everybody passed me i rejoined the track and drove very slowly to the pit. Even when drove less then 100 km it putted me in a spin.

After all i made it to the pits and could join the race again with like 3 laps behind from the leader. I had some damage but it was driveable to the end of the race.

I'm very disappointed how my race went because i had some good pace to be in atleast the top 10.

Comment: The car was horrible to drive, i never drive a car with that understeer.... the pace was horrible
I started from pitlane.. what has destroyed my race before the start
I have several battle with Marques and Werdmuller, the first was impressive and i defended my position very hard for a 16th place...
I could maintain my position on Werdmuller but i should keep the inside line...
After 2nd pitstop, i overtook marques who went out of boxes...
In the first corner, i throttled too hard with my tires on the kerbs and i hit marques... sorry for him...
Spa is a track for me, long corner and speed... i think make a result here

Comment: What to say, one of my most terrible weekends I remember for a whole lot of reasons.
I'm in San Francisco right now, didn't have much time to practice, I had a 17.5 before I left Portugal, but I couldn't do better than 17.8 here sadly, so that 17.9 isn't that bad. 13th is bad though, sadly.

Then the race started, did an ok start, lost a position to Patrick as he was on the inside, then the worst came as Cyril didn't let anyone pass despite having no front wing, I was right behind him, he had to lift I guess and I hit him slightly and lost my own front wing as well.

It was already lost, I didn't have the necessary pace to catch up but I kept trying anyway, the problem came when I caught Morgan Morand, despite him being on 16th place, he was defending as if it was a race win to lose .. on the incident, I tried to keep myself on the outside to overtake him on t2 in the inside, he lost control and hit me ... whatever. I'm pretty pissed because fighting this way for a 16th place is simply useless.

Sadly I already lost the championship, as I won't race in Spa either. We'll see about monza then .. Congrats Bono for the championship and the race, amazing stuff.

Comment: Qualify I had a personal best and still of the pace unfortunetly.

Race. I had a good start, but due to some small contacts I had light damage and lost some positions and time.

After pushing all race long on somebit lower power, I made a mistake when turning up the power abit. Damaged my front wing. Few laps later after making a pitstop, damaged my front wing as well and decided to pit and exit after the top10 had lapped me.
