Comment: Well; obviously, I cannot be happier with a second place finish here at France, a track I clearly do not like or go very well at. Quali went so-so with my 1st of 2 hot laps being blocked by slower traffic.
I had opted for a 1 stop strategy for the race only to have it mathematically mis-calculated; thus, I was forced to pit with only 2-3 laps to go. At any rate, the best man won today's race as he clearly had the best package. My car had a good setup for the first stint, but 35 laps of fuel for the 2nd was just too much.
Overall, a good result for the team and me. Unfortunate for some of the slower lapped traffic getting involved with both mine and Ben's races, but this is how things go sometimes and we move on. Looking forward to improvement with my ability in the team, and thanks to everyone at Diamond Racing...

Comment: I started from p9, after not having a good quali, or even a race pace.
i had a good start, up to p5 into the first left hander, and it was touch-and-go to avoid a couple of cars spinning off.
i was on a 1-stopper, but my race pace wasnt up to the fellow racers.
I managed to stay and end comfortably in p6.I am happy with the result.

Comment: What a total disaster race for me???In qual I should have very very easily got a low 13?I have hit 12.9 before a few times.......So that was it rubish? My race time with a damaged car was about the same as my qual???cant work it out.
Anyway the race wasnt good either,I had a great start from p6 straight into p2 by 1st corner ; ) thought things were looking up?
Then into the 2nd hairpin collin ran wide so tucked up the inside (still on the racing line) collin tried to maintain his position and unfortunatly ran into my path spinning him : (...Damaged my car a little.
Then the incident later on with mega???Why over take a back marker in the middle of a dificult corner when there is a straight .200 of a sec up the road?
i went round into turn 1 flat out in 6th and saw that him and the back marker was sat in the road.....nowhere to go...Race over : (

Better luck next time.(i hope)

Thanks to the diamond team and all its members

Comment: I had disappointing performance in both qualifying sessions, especially qual2 relative to PB.

Didn’t get of the line very well and ran wide into T1. Before I could get back on to the track I got hit from behind with enough force to make the car airborne and landed facing the opposite direction. At first I thought it was just a broken rear wing but after a few attempts to drive back to the pits it was clear that the rear suspension was very badly damaged.

Comment: Great to have finally won, should have gone like this in montreal on my debut nevertheless i did it. I would like to that in primis Joel for recruiting me and giving me the possibility to race with sucha wonderfully organized team. The test team in particular is perfect, they provide me with the best setups and the best information/advice possible. Joakim does an incredible amount of work for everyone, i am really impressed.

Qualy was bad, i just couldnt find the rythm - one of those bad days... i have to improve in one lap qualy. I have always lacked there so i need to see what I am doing wrong cause qualy is important.

Race went alright, had a terrible start lost a position and then regained 2 spots as the the first 2 drivers touched each other. From then i pushed as i wanted to get a good decent margin on the second not knowing if the rest opted for a 2 pitstop strategy or just a one. after my second stop i have something like 25 secs on the second (who had to pit still) and then my pc froze... i thought it was over. Only 11 laps till the end and the game froze... i thought it was the end... then it started again... my margine was done to less than 5 secs, so i had to keep pushing but then wayne pitted and i started crusing again... to victory! And it felt good!!!

Looking foward to the next race i can compete in... hopefully soon enough as I am seriously overloaded with work these days.

Cya around.
