PB in qual, which was enough for third place.
Then in race De Wit crashed Marques off and I had clear path to follow Rasmus.
I was actually going for two stops but accidentally forgot to pit on same lap as Rasmus. Then I continued one more lap thinking what should I do. I decided it's safer to switch to one stop. Later this proved to be a smart decision and I could finish the race on first place."
|"Again not a great amount of testing, but I have no complaints about the car.|
I never seriously tested Qual, so P7 was the result. But I knew my race pace was pretty good, combined with some experience, tactics and not making mistakes, a podium was always the target, and I achieved that.
First stint was a bit of a struggle, but I was on target with my laptimes. After the pitstop the car felt much better and was a delight to drive, as expected, but for some unknown reason my laptimes were about 0.3-0.4 slower each lap compared to testing, despite pushing hard trying to win the race.
Jaakko and I had the exact same pace in this race but he got his gap in the opening laps, and it was not possible to catch him.
Happy with P2 though, and happy about definitely having transformed from the biggest tyre eater towards the biggest tyre saver in the field, which got me those three 2nd places.
Congrats to Jaakko, and Bono. Sorry for Bruno, he clearly would have won this race."
|"Very entertaining race. Obviously my race was compromised by a pitlane start, I lost 16 seconds because of that so to finish 13 seconds behind the winner is a good thing I guess. The first few laps were very lonely, but I soon caught traffic and after some crazy moves by Mallorqui we decided to pit early and hopefully jump them in the pits. Unfortunately that group was on a 1 stopper so I caught them again together with Malezic. I lost a lot of time thanks to crazy defending from Mallorqui again but eventually got through. After my 2nd pitstop I saw that P3 was possible so Iwas pushing 100% every lap. Passing Mikko wasn't that difficult because he had a lot older tyres but Rasmus had fresher tyres so it was a lot more difficult to pass him. In the end I managed after a great fight, and to get P3 with a pitlane start is a great result."|

R: Start went well got into 3rd place and was just watching what will De Wit and Bruno do. De Wit crashed himself and Bruno out so I was 1st and managing engine for next stints. Jaakko was close behined and we pulled away from the rest of the pack wich was nice because I was sure that Atze and Hirrle will do 1 stopper.
On lap 19 I made my first stop wich was swift and clean and after that started pushing to close the gap on 1 stopping guys.
Everything went according to plan and pace was good until I passed Mikko on lap 27 T1 after wich he had oversteer moment and slammed into me wich almost made me crash into barrier.
This was realy frustraiting as it also caused bad damage and I lost 0,3-4s every lap to my target laptimes. The rest of the race was just full on pushing to have any chance for a reasonable result. I also decided to repair damage on my second pitstop wich was totaly wrong decision as it cost me extra 6s in pit and the car was still rubish so nothing was repaired.
At the final laps had realy great battle with Bono but I was unable to keep him behined with this car and so I had to settle for 4th position.
Realy frustraiting race as I was looking forward to battle with Bruno and De Wit but we all know what happned there and after that akward mistake from Mikko wich shouldnt have occured took away seemingly easy victory.
Obviously I would have had to overtake Hirrle and Jaakko but with fresh rubber and with better overall speed the chances were good for a win.

I took it very easy on the formation lap because I was very worried about my tire wear for my planned 1 stop strategy. Because of this my tires were cooler than normal and with my usual careful start I lost a few positions on the first lap.
After that I got locked in to a 30+ lap battle with Conti. I wasn't fast enough in the first stint to be able to pull away but neither was he. I was originally going to pit on lap 33, but I noticed that he was pulling in to the pitlane on the same lap while ahead of me so I decided to do one more lap. Despite my tires already getting delaminated I was able to pit one lap later and rejoin 2 seconds ahead of him, which is very unusual this year.
After that I did a very good second stint, consistant lap times with just a few small mistakes. I pushed as hard as possible but couldn't keep Huis & Tali behind me.
Happy with 5th, congrats to the podium."
|"What a horrible weekend. After last GP I was really motivated for this race, but the whole period of testing I was struggling with the car. The track requires some experience, which I gained this race for next season :). That's pretty much all the good news.|
Q P5: Couldve been worse, was even slower than the day before, but it got me in a good position for race.
R P7: Started good, but I was pushing too hard on the tires. I feel very sorry for what happened to Bruno. He was clearly the fastest on this track :(. The accident between him and de Wit brought me to P3. I was forced to do a two stopper, while in testing I had perfect wear for a one stopper. At the first stop I speeded in the pitlane, so I got a drive through. Lost a lot of positions and had to remain calm in order to finish the race. The final stage was actually pretty exciting to close the gap with Conti. Unfortunately a normal overtaking manouvre got ruined by lots of contact he made in his aggressive defending.
I'm glad I finished the race and still got some points out of it. Congrats to Mikkonen and Hirrle. Also Bono showed an impressive climb to 3rd spot.
Next race Abu Dhabi, with hopefully a happy blue sky instead of the rainy clouds today on Interlagos ;)"
|"Qualified in P9, 0.4 behind Marques's pole lap. P9 was because alot of drivers weren't allowed to take part.|
I made a bad start and was basically last after lap 2 or 3 except for the pitlane starters. I went with a different 2 stop strategy, which did help as when others battled I could gain time, and also have fresh tyres at the end, which helped me to close and get passed Patel and Saxen for 8th position."
|"This race was another quite interesting one, although very frustrating from the cockpit, being stuck for most of the race behind cars who slipstreamed other cars. After a good qualifying I took it too easy in the start and lost a few positions. I soon got stuck behind a Trulli-train and decided to pit early for my first stop, which has worked before this season.|
Things went swiftly until my second pit stop, whereafter I emerged behind De Wit and Patel. I lost probably some 10 seconds fighting with both, but at least it was very fair and exciting. Towards the end I had no boost remaining and Disley was again just clever enough to pass me on the penultimate lap, nothing I could have done there. Thanks to Ash for letting me drive on short notice, looking forward towards the season end."

i think there was some good fight, sometimes with aggressive move and sometimes not, but it was funny and want to congrats to mikko dennis and bono for the podium and very shame for bruno....im very sorry.
The fight with azte is really hard, i want keep my position and he want to overtake me, the last 2 laps was really hard, if u want to protest atze u can, i don't see replay yet, i don t know what exactly i done to make u angry, anyway, see u soon :) "
|"I had great fun all the way through this race. P10 is result of very low practice time and not looking in details. It was never planned to race, but Karol was missing so why not race. Never did long stint, never tested pit entry and that is why I choosed wrong strategy and was speeding in pits.|

|"After 7 laps of race practice before the race I did not expect anything more. Was hit on lap one by someone, got rear damage, and then hit again some laps later in a battle. After this it was lonely and boring as shit. Sad thing is that this might have been my last race in FSR this season because of exam coming up on the Abu Dhabi weekend, which means a lot of studying now."|
|"Disley didn't get a good start, and I had to lift to avoid him. It put me to last unfortunately.|
Then was in a battle with Saxen, Mallourqui, Nillson and Disley. Basically went on and on. The others around me bar Mallourqui were 2 stopping, and when I pitted I came out behind Nillson. Luckily I was able to pass him immediately but I wasn't able to close in a lot to Kerkhof and Saxen. After they pitted I was P8. I didn't defend against Atze knowing his straight line speed was too high, but I put up a fight against Saxen whom got me after a while.
Then Disley did an amazing move on T1. Similar to one of the Button 2009 ones. I carried on dropping down till I went to P12. Would have ended there but a puncture on the last lap put me to P13.
Quite surprised that I ended P13. At one stage I was P6, and I was unable to keep anyone behind me for periods of time really. Ah well.. "
|"I had a good Q where i found my PB....it was from far 2006 that it's not happened. In race i started P12 and in 2 laps i gained 3 positions by an aggressive start. But it was clear i couldn't take position for a long time also because i had too much wings and the others were about 8km/h faster on straight. At the end i wasn't able to see the finish line because i spun when i was changing boost engine. Engine stalled and see you to Abu Dabi."|
