|"A great way to start the season, although we were quite lucky. Twister's speed really impressed me, especially Nilsson who was very fast in both Q1 and Q2. No doubt that he would have been fast in the race too but unfortunately for him he retired in the formation lap which basically put me on pole. First laps were quite difficult, no grip at all but it improved lap by lap and I was able to build a gap to Jaakko and David. I saw after my pitstop that the gap stayed around 4 seconds to P2 so I decided to save the car and make sure to finish the race. A nice victory and perfect start of the season, but we must improve for the next races because it would have been difficult to beat Nilsson."|
|"My race was good, was much better than what I expected. Qualy was also a very good surprise for me, as I haven't practiced at all for the Qualification. I just knew the setup was right, so I knew I could have been in Q2 and then with more experience hope for some bad laps from other drivers, which put me in P4 on the starting grid. Jaakko was as fast as me basically and with I think less top|
speed i couldn't pass him at all, I needed I slight mistake with cold tires from him to make the pass. After that I had braking problems and started shifting brake balance towards the rear to save what I could on brakes, which worked, but, almost caused me two spins. I managed to be as fast or faster than Jaakko, and so, I think I deserved my second place."
|"I didn't really perform at my best in the race but despite it I must say third place is ok. Season will be long and everything counts in the end. My dark moment came after pit stop when Greco passed me. I felt very unconfident with grip level and brakes and decided it's better to play it safe than be sorry."|

Q2: I was too agressive with medium tyres so I lost lots of time exiting corners.
R: Start was great I managed to get from P6 to P4 but was pushed wide in t2 so I lost all I gained. After that I had to pass Rudy and it wasnt easy with this years dirty air effect where you lose lots of grip on exits while following other car.
Finally I managed to get a head and start geting into rythm. I was catching Greco and Jaakko rest of ther race but gap was too big so I ended the race on 4th position.
My own mistakes in Q2 and some unfortunate actions in start prevented better result but it was a solid start for the season and pace seems to be there.
Looking forward to Australia."

I had a good reaction time to the lights, took it easy in to T1 and lost some positions. During the first lap a lot of people were going off in front of me, I went from 9 or 10th to 6th.
I knew my pace was ok, but I also knew I probably couldn't challenge the guys in front of me, so I just focused on keeping a steady rhythm and saving the car.
I had a lot of issues with braking on this track, so I 'm very happy with finishing 5th in the end with holding off Atze basicly the entire race.

|"First race of the season was a thrilling one. I didnít had the best preparation for this race. Managing the team and a long focus on iRacing made me able to start testing 1,5 week ago. After finding the right settings and figuring out the mod I decently found some pace nearing this weekend. Lucky for me the team did a great job on the setup already and it was a matter of finetuning to get the good pace.|
Q1: Way off pace, I expected a low 1.27 there, but it didnít really matter. We were easy safe for top 10.
Q2: Horrible lap! Didnít expect to near my pb there but a 1.28.3 on medium tires was possible. Was quite a letdown, but was happy about my teammate Nilsson!
R: What can I say. I went nuts when I saw Nilsson lose connection. That had a great impact for me in the formation lap. But I had to focus on the race.
My start was good and in the first turn, all kind of cars appeared and disappeared in front, next, behind me. I didnít know where to go and later in the first lap it caused a massive off track, losing some positions. In my hurry getting back on track, I lost 15% of my engine health and for the whole first stint I had to save engine by driving very careful. So the first stint I was just being careful and saving as much engine as I could. After the pitstop things looked more safe and I was able to start thinking about pushing the car a bit. I was stuck behind Puumalainen who drove a very stable good race, like we know him. Everytime when I got closer, my rear end of the car started sliding desperately in the dirty air. So the last 15 laps was pretty much about closing the gap, making mistake, closing the gap etc. Was fun actually!
Grats to Bono, Greco and Mikkonen. And Iím sorry for Fred, he deserved this win and Iím sure he wouldíve been up there without the disconnection.
Bottomline is that the season has started bittersweet. A big dark cloud called Fredriks blue screen of death is hanging above the great 2nd place of Greco. About my own result I can only be happy this race. Lacking feeling still and already on speed, so things will be better in the upcoming races.
Thanks to everybody in the Twister-Racing team. We came from far, it was a difficult period, and Iím sure success will come. Also thanks to the whole FSR board for doing a great job again on this competition. See ya next week.

|"I didn't do what I expected in qualifying, was out of rythm. I was already off pace compared to my WC team mates. But got 8th place, that's the problem starting further back, you have to overtake, which uses more engine and more brakes, so I had to conserve and Morris got me at the end.|

I'm 6th in Q2... my best result in qualifying session.. I take the medium tyres for the race.
I started 5th. I take the first corner and SLLLL... i spin... well.. great begin...
I'm in last position. I rejoin the group before the lap 2. I overtake easily drivers. I'm on the Huis rythm.
I want to overtake De wit, i take the slipstream, he makes a schumacher style ^^ i'm surprised i take the outside and i overtake him. Good.
I catch Lee Morris. He is very fast on straight line : I have more downforce i think. I make a Takuma sato Braking style and i overtake him...
Before the 2nd relay. I respin... My car was very different than testing. In the 2nd relay i have no rythm to follow lee... I'm 9th with luck !

|"The season start was pretty positive in terms of qualifying pace, as I made it to the top 10 with a poor lap. The race start went better than expected and I climbed into P7, but unfortunately I was overly careful and let De Wit past, after which my re-overtaking attempt ended in us touching and me spinning. From there on I lost a lot of time behind slower cars which took me longer to pass than expected, but eventually the effort was enough for 1 point, which without the incident surely could have been a couple of more."|
|"The season started with ups and downs for me, while being knocked out of Q1 by 0.004 and needed to accept the 11th place, the start of the race went really good and I could get up to p4 by the end of the first lap! |
As expected my pace was not fast enough to keep up with the front runners, and I got hunt down quite quickly by 3 guys behind me. I could defend a little but soon I realised I was just fighting for nothing and let the 3 guys to get into a comfortable gap and keep my pace steady and going. After my pitstop Disley was close behind me and was just a slight bit each lap faster and caught me.
After he overtook me he didn't manage to drive away as the gap towards him didn't go over 1 second. Then the down part of the race started for me, while being in 7th position i exit the last turn a slight bit to wide, come on the curb and spin. After a quick 180 back into the right direction i found myself in p10 with p9 close infront and p11 behind. With 1 lap to go the next down came, as my left front brake exploded (whcih was unexpected) and needed to except p11.
Overall i cant complain, this was my first FSR race ever and I learned allot. Pace wise there was more in there aand now im going to focus to keep a steady line towards the front of the field."
|"Everything went as I expected in Q1.|
I didn't have the "best" Q setup and the result was ok to me.
In the begining of the formation lap I made the worst mistake ever and I stole my engine.
Then I started from pitlane.
The whole race was lonely and I was only hoped for some DNFs.
Finally I was up to 12 place and P De Wit was just behind me after his 2nd stop.
It was a very hard, good, and clean battle and I really enjoy it!
Congrats Patrick great fight! ;)
Then I just brought it to finish in 12 place.
Not a good debute but this is life, this is FSR, and I will be here to fight!

|"Well not the Season start i had hoped for but the racing spirit is still there:)|
Q went really bad 0,6 from my pb even so if i had set my pb or close to it maybe problaby could have gone to Q2
But instead i Qualified 13th just behind my teammate Agustin who was 12th
Had a good start and went from 13th to 9th at some point then lost some spots due to fighting other cars
Then Tried to overtake Saxen which worked was a good move just not touching Kerkhof in the heat was great:)
Then 2 turns later Saxen tried to took the position back and almpost worked but 2 cars trough that turn is a bit too tidy and he spun we touched each other but really light.
The last battle came with the new guy(Jim Parisis) we had awesome battles some turn after each other next to each other heheh
Finally managed to overtake him he did not make it easy but we need this kind of people in FSR hard racers:) hehehe
Well i could have had p12 today but my engine said otherwise:(

|"Q - Just as I expected, not able to compete for the Top 10 here. Struggling from beginning on and hoping for race.|
R - Start was awesome from P15 to P 7. I let Kerkhof pass as it would've only cost time to both of us and he was clearly faster so no need for that. THen some nice battles, although the move from Morand was unnecessary dangerous and in my view not the most clever one. He could've waited and made a much easier and safer pass. After that I lost rythmn and from lap 19 onI got cramps in my leg. Made 2 mistakes which cost me at least a fight for a point. In the gravel after my first mistake I overcooked my engine and it thanked me with blowing up 14 laps before finish.
Now to Australia, a way better track."
|"Q1: Came to server, had horrible lag and couldn't put a lap together.|
Still had lag so started very carefully, gained a few places but soon lost few again, had to drive very carefully because screen was lagging all the time and some drivers who were close to me had ping 300.
After some time found myself quite alone on track, Saxen some 5-6 seconds ahead and Parisis 13 seconds behind, then came to make a pitstop and just then leaving from pits managed to spin and stall my car.
Overall my race was horrible, have to figure out why i had lag. Really looking forward to race in Melbourne to get better result.

We had fantastic pace here as Q showed, both Q1 and Q2, where I got pole just ahead of Bono. Should have been a more comfortable gap, but with the one lap system it's hard to nail it, especially on this track.
The car was really good in race condition as well, and a win would definitely have been possible if it weren't for the BSOD that put an end to my hopes.
Nontheless, great work by David for taking second place, and well done to my team mate Atze for bringing home points after a difficult race for him. Fantastic team work during this winter as well, it's a pleasure to drive for Twister Racing! Now I just hope I can sort my computer out and then fight hard for Melbourne."
