Comment: Qualifying went well, 1:29 was the target because I was sure that would have been pole, and it was indeed. At the start I had to defend against Atze, he got a good slipstream but I managed to keep him behind. The first few laps I increased the gap quite a lot, which was quite crucial because Atze wasn't really much slower. We decided to pit 2 laps later than Atze, to have fresher tyres than him in the last stint. This meant I could control the race rather easily and take my 5th win of the season. Bring on Spain.

Comment: Q1: was a big questionmark, had little practice for this, but knew a normal lap was good enough for top 10. Did an okay lap and I believe I even came out first in Q1.

Q2: I messed up the first sector, so I pushed a bit more in the second, the lap was not bad, but far from good either. So p2.

R: Not much action there. Started 2nd, stayed close to Bono whole race, but wasn't able to close the gap into a striking distance. My only chance was to leapfrog him, but that didn't work out either on this track. The second stint was a copy of the first, only Greco was a bit further behind, so less pressure. The car felt good the whole race, but still this Bono in front of me, who did once again a stable race without mistakes. So grats to him!

For Twister-Racing it was a good day. We scored some good points this race and are now 2nd and 3rd in the teams classification.

See you in Spain!

Comment: My race was much better than expected, I think I was faster than in practice, and I had no idea how fast I would have been after the first stop because I had no time to practice so much, actually haven't practiced at all basically, only yesterday and today. So I am very happy of my performance and my race. Sepang is a track that I really like.

Comment: Q was good, P3.

During the race I overtook Greco in the first stint, only to lose the position after a bad pit strategy. P4 in the end, not very satisfying.

To Simon: the overtake was in the beginning of lap 18. Other than that nothing really exciting happened.

Comment: Practice went pretty much as I expected, this car, despite not being setup for Q1 at all, was feeling at it's best in Q1 because my car nervousness was fixed with the super soft tyres, so it was cool to lead the charts for once, despite me knowing it was short lived.

Q1 went as I expected, I practiced Q2 a bit and noticed that I was lacking 2 tenths overall, as I expected too, the car felt very nervous and slow.

Q2 went as bas I also expected, still I was a bit sad to be 6th place, as I felt I did a solid lap, but so did everyone, but lost 2 crucial tenths when I got close to Jaakko, he did the best he could to let me pass but he was in front of me for a bit too long in 2nd sector.

Race: Lost a position to Jaakko in the start, had to pass him, tried a couple of times, almost hitting him and losing my FW, fortunately I managed to pass him later on on lap 10 or so, not sure now. Then I tried to catch Disley, and lost time to my surprise ... had to wait for the pit stops to get a new set of fresh tyres and restart my assault. About 10 laps to go I managed to pass him on the outside of T4, sideways, it was a cool overtake fortunately... then it was cruising until the end, trying to set fastest lap but Bono was untouchable even there :)

Going to miss some races, pretty unsure as to when I'll drive now.

See you.

Comment: Was in good rythm for the qualifying sessions, and got 4th on the grid.

Lost a place to Greco on lap 1, and after that was running in 5th place until Marques passed me near the end of the race. I made a small mistake after that but was able to thankfully hold off Mikkonen as he was fighting with Hirrle.

It's about time I got a result like this with some nice points.

Comment: I ended up 9th in qual. Even on perfect lap I wouldn't have been much higher. I guess it proves how slow my pace was this time.
I had a good start and I was 6th after first corner. Then my race went again downhill till the end. The faster cars that were there passed me and I finished in the end on 8th place.

Comment: I did my first testing laps 1h before the race and as I was away hiking for 3 days I was quite exhausted. I decided to race anyways.

Had to start from p17. With great first lap I moved up to 10th on first lap then had some more fighting with de wit and others. Before pits I was 9th and closing in on mikkonen and hirrle but 2 corners before entering pits I made strange mistake and ran onto gravel where I lost 6-8s. This cost me the chance to fight for p7-8 so I had lonely 2nd half of the race.

The race pace seemed quite good again but currently university is taking too much time to think about any proper testing hopefuly this will change.

Cya in spain.

Comment: Q1: 29.6, wasn't sure that I would make it in to Q2 this time and indeed I didn't.

Race:

I was perhaps a bit too cautious at the start, lost some positions in the first corners. At the end of the 1st or 2nd lap, I was looking in the mirror while exiting the final corner when I noticed Karol beached on the curb ahead of me. I had to make a fast evasive manouver and lost a lot of time there.

A lap or so later I made a mistake while following Parisis in the 2nd to last corner and was 19th.

After that I was pushing as hard as I could but had to rely on people spinning out in front of me to gain any positions.

I managed to leapfrog JES by pitting one lap ahead of him and after that it was a lonely race for 10th place.

Comment: Again, my preparations were rather limited, so was really pleased with my Q2 time, which I had hoped to be enough for slightly higher than P7, but the level was tough.

In the race a few drivers were again trying to win the race on lap 1, which cost me multiple positions and some car health. Later on I had multiple squabbles with De Wit, some of them slightly naughty, which cost another few positions due to mistake, forcing me to re-overtake the whole grid again.

At the end of the day, the pace was somewhat there, but damage and position losses at start of the race resulted in too much time to catch for a point finish.

Comment: Q: Made it into the top10, Q2 had a huge mistake so 10th place for the start.

R: Was struggling at the start, car felt a bit weird and lost positions. Some guys made mistakes in front of me so in the end 12th place. Not very happy with the result, still the race pace needs to be improved.

Next track is Spain which i like so hopefully a bit better result there.

Comment: Q: This session was too close. I got P16 with only half a second behind the leader!
Now happy with this position but it was a step forward.

R: At the start I got the inside with many drivers battling for position. Finally I gain one or two positions I think in the first lap. Then I knew I had the pace to catch up with others so I was patient. Two drivers made a collision in T2 and I had to go on the grass to avoid them. In lap number 34, Poniatowski made a spin just in front of me and I had less than 1 meter to avoid the collision there, as I did! Final laps was a battle for 14th place with P de Witt. As in revious races we had a hard fight out there but in final lap I made a late brake to have a chance for the position but I found myself on Patrick's rear wing, fortunatelly without any damage to him, so I let him take this place easy! This race was a step forward for me as I had close the gap between the middle drivers and I didn't got a lap on my back from the leaders. He have small targets race by race and untill now we have done a great job for the practise we had. Next time better!

Comment: Q Well I did not practice before this GP due to PC Problems. I improved around 4-5 tenthes to the first Sepang Race, bit I did not end up much futher the grid. With a perfect Lap the Top 10 maybe would have been possible.

R Start was ver tough in T2 the people were crossing my line from right and left. I was very passive, but some people really think, Lap 1 is the Lap. Some unneccesary contacts and also some lagging. In Lap 2 they were suddenly standing in front of me and I crashed into them and lost FW. Deja Vu. Carried the car a whole lap around and got in the pits to repair. I still did nit give up, as you nenver know what happens. I got closer to the people in front of my by about 20 seconds, but I was still behind when I PC crashed.

All in all another bad weekend.

Comment: I had a fun race actually - it didnt last as long as I had hoped for, but it was fun nonetheless.

I went a bit more agressive on the setup than we ran in WS and it seemed a bit quicker, but in this company it needed to be. I made up a couple of positions on the opening lap, but lost them with a poor run onto the backstraight but made them up and more through T1/2 on lap 2 when i took 4 positions.

Made my way up to about P11 or so as some guys made errors ahead or crashed out and was having a good scrap with Karol when he took a dive into T2 and spun us both around. The car felt a tad unstable at the rear and sure enough we had some damage which i tried to drive around but failed eventually. Took a trip into the pits to see about getting it fixed, but no dice and so we were done for the day.

Thanks to the team for trying to get me up to speed here, but me and this track have never seen eye to eye so hoping for better next time.

Comment: Q wasnt good at all - missed the avg laptime of 29.3 massively - so very disappointed with P11 and beeing out of the top10.

R was a disaster. I mean the car was almost perfect, the setup gave so much mechanical grip that I could easily drive the top10 laptimes without traffic.
Beeing in the traffic it was quite hard to keep the concentration because the guys didnt have so much racepace and broke to early or did build a train which caused me to spin twice :(
I also wanna to say sorry to Jack Keithley. He opened much room into T2 and I saw this opportunity as a gift so I decided to jump in, but he obviously didnt notice me beside him and we colided and spun :(

Thats it - car was perfect but the circumstances didnt allow me to make more out of it..
