|"Quite a boring race. Really nothing happened, Kerkhof and I were almost on same pace, I was a little bit faster just like in Silverstone. I never really got in any problems, I could control the race from lap 1. Next weekend we go to Hungary, one of my favourite tracks where I have the possibility to secure the championship."|

Q2: medium lap.. was very careful..
R: Very fun.. T1 was ofcourse the most important moment in the race. Didn't take any risks as for the rest of lap 1. Tires were very cold and the car was hard to handle on the hard cold tires. After some laps I got a good rhythm, Bono was on the same pace basically and it was a matter of creating a gap and keep the car on this tricky track.
The only shot of overtaking was the pitstop, but in my inlap something scared the .... out of me and I totally missed the last chicane. Lost some precious seconds there but I'm quite sure this wouldnt have made any difference in the end. After the pit the car felt actually much better, while i hardly had practice on my 2nd stint pace. After a while I saw a Mak Corps car in front of me. I assumed he was getting lapped at that moment, but it turned out to be Hirrle who was on a weird extreme late pitstop strategy, giving Bono room and holding me up for some laps. I guess that was the strategy... Wasn't amuzed by it and the outside overtake on Hirrle made my race much better. Bono was now 4 seconds in front of me and we matched pace.. In the end he struggled with some factors I believe and I closed the gap to 2.something seconds but out of reach of any hope for the win after the failed pitstop..

|"This was possibly the most boring race I have ever driven. Absolutely nothing happened, bar the overtake on Morris on lap 6. I got a gap to Hirrle when he had to wait some laps to get past Morris, so after my pass I did not see a single car anymore in the race, neither in front nor behind me. |
In the end when I had saved some fuel to be on the safe side, I joined in the fastest lap time battle to get some excitement. That failed however.
Anyway it was nice to be back on the podium again after a couple of crap races. There were still some things in this race that should have been better prepared to get a couple of tenths more, but all in all I am happy and confident in the car again.
I will miss the Hungarian GP because of a vacation next weekend, so next race will be Spa I guess for me. Cya there. "
|"Illness last week didn't help so I used today for the main testing, throwing around with setups until an hour before the race, so that wasn't too awesome. Then going into Q1 I couldn't see my car and some others, it's some ATI bug which I had encountered before already, but not with my own car. I tried to restart rfactor a couple times, eventually it worked but I had to use DX7 which totally messed up the gfx and a few crucial trackmarks.|
Had 3 minutes left in Q1 and somehow set a time good enough to get into Q2.
In Q2 I did a reasonable but not perfect lap which meant P5 on the grid, really good considering the circumstances.
Into the race and I had a normal start with plenty of space on the outside of T1 to avoid possible contact with other cars. Stayed on P5 and waited for what would happen with Morris and Nilsson ahead. When Nilsson got past Morris I tried to do the same thing rather quickly, but since passing is not easy I was stuck behind Morris for some laps. I passed him into the chicane but Nilsson was already gone. Pace was okay but I knew I had to save the engine basically the whole race to make it to the end.
I was able to increase the gap to the cars behind, and lost time to the front, so I was free with strategy choice. I decided to pit pretty late so that I would have best tyres in the end, made it easier to save engine and still have a good performance.
So that worked out and finally finished in P4, all in all a very boring race. Car wasn't totally where I wanted it yet but I'm getting closer, Hungary is usually a bad track for me but we'll see what happens."

Managed to pass Disley at the start, lost a position to Jaakko however after losing traction in T4.
I got past Jaakko after he made a mistake in T2 on lap 5 or so, and then slowly caught Lee.
After following for quite a few laps, we had what seemed like a 2 lap wheel to wheel battle. I was finally able to make the pass stick and pull away before the pitstop.
In the 2nd stint I didn't have any confidence in the car, so Disley caught me and pressured me for the last 35 laps, fortunately I didn't make any big mistakes and came home in a satisfying 5th place.
Congrats to the podium."
|"Qualifying, 6th place not bad, but maybe I made some small mistake which cost me maybe 0.1 or 0.2, but I'm not sure on that.|
Race. Was 8th after losing 2 positions on lap 1. I was struggling early on. Room was behind me but after some laps I got rythm and pulled away, I also began to catch Mikkonen ahead. I could not pass, but he made a mistake and I got a run on the back straight and was able to pass then on lap 21 or there abouts.
Morris had a penalty so that gained me another position, so I was in 6th. I then was faster than Puumalainen, could not pass, then he pulled away, then I caught him again, still could not pass and finished in 6th place. I do feel I was the 6th quickest car today so that's a fair enough result and some more points for me and the team."
|"I won some positions at start, but lost them again later due to mistakes and overall slowness. People DNF'd front of me, which allowed me to finish higher than I qualified.|
Anyway finished again and on points so its still ok as in damage limitation."
|"I'm reasonably happy with this weekend; finishing as the first one behind Precision and Twister affiliated drivers was my goal, and that succeeded.|
During the first stint I managed to pass Room after some enjoyable fight on lap 10, which was the only highlight of my race. After the first pit stop I barely failed to leapfrog Mikkonen and luckily avoided contact in turn 1. The remaining race I was driving within reasonable distance from Mikkonen, but had no real overtaking opportunity, and thanks to Morand spinning behind me a couple of times, I had no threat from behind either.
Onto Hungaroring with some smell of championship securing..."

Race Start, in Turn 1 with Morgans spin I went to the inside and on to the kurb to avoid it, which nearly caused me to stall. With some incidences in the first two laps I was up to 13th.
On Lap 3, Turn 1 Morgan passed Tony and I followed him through, was looking back at the race and also noticed De Matos and Parisis passed him by the end of Sector 1 aswell!
On Lap 9 I went wide on the exit of the last turn of Sector 2, luckily I didn't go off into the wall and only lost 1 second. From then I was just trying to catch Raino, but Morgan spun at Turn 2 of lap 16 giving me an additional place. He pitted two laps before me, so when I pitted on lap 23 he came out just in front of me, and drove away...
I was surprised to see Lee pit again or something which put him 3 seconds behind me, and when Morgan spun again at Turn 1 of Lap 28 I got passed him, but on the same lap at the turn after the Schumi S he did a pass on me around the outside. The next lap Lee tried to pass me up the inside but I didn't see him there until too late which caused us to colide...Rest of the race was boring but happy to see all 4 Twister cars in the Top 10. Good win Bono as always!"

Race: I tried to avoid contacts on start but a fts car spun, i wasn't able to avoid contact with the ATR car so my front left suspension was damaged. After that car was fucked so i just made my maximum to finish the race.
P10 at the end, not really happy with that result but having 1 point in this situation is not too bad."

Finally I was 0.050 of a second away of top10 so I had to start from p12.
R: Had a good start and got myself in 10th position. Then a small collision with Room damaged my suspension. The car after this was very hard to drive especially in the right corners, the car was going almost straight, way off it was in practise.
So my pace was not as we expected and I knew I could but I didn't want to give up the race. Finally I finished in 11th place."

R: Had good first lap, up to 9th, behind disley. Tried to be behind him but couldn't.
Lap 23 made big and stupid mistake(last chicane), i spun out of track. Then next lap went to pit where i lost 10 seconds cause of damage repair, but on my car was 0 yellow spots. After stop i was down to 13th i think then some players made mistakes and back up to 11th where i was till to race finish.
Not very happy with race, had very good pace, but i made some silly mistakes what caused me TOP10 finish.

|"Joining my new team Ward this week has been an adventure, im extremley happy to be here but even though the team spirit is high, we still didnt have much time to prepare so therace was always going to be hard !|
Q1 - Went very well didnt do my pb but was good enough for Q2
Q2 - Went very well, P3 on the Grid was great but maybe a bit unrealistic with the tyres..
Race was a Disaster, had rear graining which gave me no traction so i ended p falling down the order.. which was a shame, then got a drive thru penalty which i dont think was real either and then when i tried to pass Pettel he left no room so i ended up in the barriers..
We learnt alot in our first racetogether and i realy do love it here at ward, watch out we are coming :)"

Race pace was incredibly slow and I was alot slower than in testing. I had a good start up to 11th but on lap 2 I think, I got hit by Morand, I havent looked at the incident much but I wasnt too happy :P After that I had damage rear wing and car was nervous, I was after De Matos but he was too fast. I spun my car on hairpin and ended up crashing the car."

the race went well for the 20 seconds or so it lasted - I made a decent start but there was some contact ahead and someone spun and i got a nudge in my side so i had no choice but to take to the grass inside to avoid contact. I tried to let back by whoever was ahead but it was tricky to know who exactly.
Anyway i was behind Patrick on the exit of T4 and he got a big tank slapper on and i had nowhere to go and we were both out :(
Thanks to the team for all their hard work - the car felt really nice in race trim today and it's a shame we didnt get to show it's pace."

Then the start of the race somebody lost control in turn 1 and had to take avoiding actions losing several places
Then exiting turn 4 lost control of my own car and somebody was close behind and we both collided into the wall sorry for this but it ended both our races better luck in Hungary hopefully"
