"I'm really happy to win the championship with a victory, which was my target for this race.It has been quite an amazing season, winning 10 races out of 11 is just unbelievable and couldn't have even wished for it before the season. I want to thank my team, especially Ondrej who was a great help this year. Now, about my race. I was quite lucky that I didn't get any damage in the first lap, and also lucky that Atze retired, who was very fast. After overtaking De Wit, who was on useless tyres, it was quite a boring race again. There was only a bit of pressure behind from Morand in the 1st stint, but without a mistake from my side he wouldn't pass me. So my 10th win of the season, but definitly the most special one."

"Quali: 15.3 in Q1, just enough for Q2. Made some mistakes on my Q2 lap so I aborted it in the second sector to take P10.

I had a very good reaction off the line, noticed I was pulling alongside Blair in front of me. I was able to pass him under braking for T1, then pass DDM and another car in T2. Atze also spun in T2 so I was 6th before the first sector was done.

I knew that my pace was really poor so I felt that a 6th place would already be like winning the lottery.

About 10 laps in to the race however, I noticed that Pat was most likely on soft tires because he had fallen from pole to 4th and was struggling a lot in the corner entrys.

David spun in front of me while following Pat, then a few laps later I managed to pass Pat with a late braking move in to T1.

I wasn't paying much attention to the people around me so I pitted on lap 19 like I had originally planned. To my surprise Room spun right in front of me in the pitentry and I was suddenly in 3rd place.

It's hard to describe what I was feeling at this stage, but needless to say: sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

I had Blair and DDM following me within 0.5-1s for the last 51 laps, which were quite tense since I knew any mistake would most likely cost me 2 positions.

In the end however, I kept my nerves and finished in a shocking 3rd place. In terms of pace I probably should've been 10th or so, but I'll take any result I can get.

Congrats to Bono for clinching the championship, most dominant season ever in FSR. Congrats to Morgan as well for his first podium."

"Q1: P3 with a 1.14.9 so i'm quite happy about that time.

Q2: i managed to do a 1.16.3 so p7 at start.

Race: Mikko was able to overtake me first corners as he had a really good start and i was not confortable with cold tyres.
During all first stop, i was behind Mikko and was unable to pass. Near lap 15 - 16, Mikko was able to pass De Wit, i tried to do the same but Patrick decided to pit so i had a clear way for pushing before doing first stop.
I stopped one lap too late first stint, Disley was able to pass me because he stopped before.
So second stint, was behind Blair and i wasn't enough close to try to overtake, i decided to stop near lap 40 to try to pass him and Mikko.
On the exit of pits, Jim Parisis was just behind me but he didn't attack me too much: thx because the first 2 corners weren't easy with cold tyres.
1 lap later, I was able to leapfrog Blair but it didn't work with Mikko. During all last stint, i tried to stay near Mikko in case he made a mistake but it never happened so P4 at the end.

I'm happy, P4, my best FSR WC result,a big thanks to the team to let me the opportunity to drive today and congrats to Bono for his second WC title."

"I made it into Q2, but only managed 9th on the grid. Lost a position at the start, but then Kerkhof retired and I was back to 9th. I was able to gain positions in the pitstops, but then after my second pitstop, I made a mistake and lost a place to De Matos and finished in 5th place after Dominguez and De Witt also had problems earlier on in the race. Thanks to ATR for the car today."

"Q1 - Had 3 good laps and improved each time, 15.1 was pb on a track we struggled all week, easy through to Q2

Q2 - Unfortunatly my Q2 lap was sort of dustrupted by Atze Kekhof, but it wasnt his fault the blue flags dont come out till late so i dont hold it against him, after all he has been very helpful as of late

Race - Was stuck in traffic due to bad Q2 had a very fast racing car underneath me, mid stint was ruiined by Saxen who jumped me on new tyres, but he was extremley slow, i was at least 0.5 per lap faster but there is no where to pass, finaly i made a very opertunistic move at the top of the hill in turn 4 to pass him and then i pulled a 6 second gap to 3rd down to 1 second, but then once again you cannot pass here so i spun trying to get on power earlier, but in end was a safe 6th place, had pace for P2 today

So happy to score Wards first points, onwards and upwards from now, i hope my team are proud

And once again i huge huge thanks to Atze Kerkhof who has been extremley helpful to me as of late, i realy appreciate it,

Well done to Bono"

"This result left some more to hope, but considering my dislike towards the track it was still decent I guess.
After just missing out Q2 I managed to avoid the car wrecks at the start and was able to follow the train lead by De Wit, but unsurprisingly no overtaking was possible. I went for an early pit stop which paid off as I managed to pass Morris, and just missed out a couple of other cars.
During the last part of the race I became increasingly worried of engine wear which compromised my pace somewhat. Lapchin, being on an odd strategy with worn tires, worked well in the favour of Morris, who was able to pass me in the hazzle, but anyhow I guess I have to say it was a great overtaking move from him.
Congrats to Boner for the championship, well driven kid.

"Q: So close once again to reach Q2.
Only 0.020 behind 10th place.

R: Start was ok keeping my place by Mikkonen who tried in many corners little risky to pass me. All the way to my first pitstop I was following Saxen keeping my distance to avoid any mistake. When I made my pitstop I saw that I had damage on my car from lap 1 I guess but I didn't repaire any of them. I noticed that my engine wear was far bigger than in practise we had, so I reduced my race pace from 21th lap to keep the engine alive. After his 2nd stop De Matos ws just in front of me but I didn't made any move on him. Nothing special in the next laps, I just got the car to the finish taking 4 points. My best result so far but I'm not happy at all. I hope we can do better races for the rest of the season.

Congrats to Bono for his 2nd title!"

"Congrats to Bono :) 2 times World Championship. He is always on top

Hungary was my last track last year... too demotivated to be 1.5s per lap slower.

I return in FSR because i found that ATR team had a great project and i wanted to know if it was me the problem.
The beginning of the championship was better than last year. 2 times in points but i didn.t understand how the car works and 2011 became Like 2010. It was a major disappointment when i saw that. I wanted to leave the championship after barcelona.
But Martin Christensen, My team manager didn.t want hear that... He helped me to have a setup with an other direction of mine and he pushed me on my limits at Monaco. 4th in WC. What is an improve. Drive the car becomes to be fun for me.
I'm in points at Montreal and i have a great pace at Silverstone and Nurburgring but i was unlucky and too impatient.

For me, Hungaroring is my own victory. I show that with determination, fun and work ( maybe madness too :P ) we can do anything and be extremely quick. And for the first time i feel that my work has paid.

Q1 : I did one lap in Q1setup 1.14.9, for the next 7min I worked on the Q2run.
Q2 : I did a mistake in first sector and the right corner before the chicane... it cost me at least 0.1/0.150s I was 4th, my best qualify in FSR but i could be better.

Race : The start was chaotic, I had a very good reaction time, In first corner, i took outside and i was beside bono huis,
In front of me i had kerkhof who missed the braking point, Bono and me came But bono needed to be more inside in the corner to not touch kerkhof, i touch him a little and Kerkhof came in my line and i touched his rear tyre and he went to the wall.... Sorry for him, i have yellow damage in front right suspension.
Bono and me overtook De wit who had Medium or soft tyres.
In first stint i was quicker than huis but when i came less 0.4s gap i had no front grip and i lost time.
In first pitstop i almost stalling and cost me time and i'm in the gearbox of De matos during One lap.
I'm 4s behind Bono now. We took each turn the FastestLap :) It was so great that i have same pace than bono. It was a mega surprise.
during the last stint, i decided to save fuel and engine and to stay in 2nd position.
But in lap 61 : BLACK SCREEN ..... I almost crying.... Noooooo Rfactor continues but i have very low fps. 0.5s latency in wheel... I started to panic... And i look the gap between me and puumalainen... 30s
It will be short ! the 2 laps are very slow to understand how i must to drive... And i improve the pace little by little. I stayed calm, i saw the gap melt like snow in the sun... but i stayed SECOND by 1s =)

My best race ever in FSR, i was so proud to be in podium after this drama !

See you at spa ! "

"Quali was poor. Didn't make it to Q2.
In race i was just driving there, then pitted early to gain some positions. I gained some, but then made a mistake and half spun in to the wall. I lost front wing, tire and had suspension damage which cost extra time to repair on pits. After the pit stop I continued driving around and ended up on 9th place."

"What a great day for FTS again!!!
Did not expected to be in top 10 after q1
But seems i just hold on to 10th position after q1

This time i did some q2 practice and my lap in q2 was almost perfect only driver to break the 1m 16 with a time of 1 15 9
I must admitt it was on the soft tyres
My car was horrible in medium nor hard tyres so decided a 3 stopper
Then to set pole was above expectations as i had no fast car

So we can add a 3rd WC pole ever for FTS Wooooo!!!

The race i knew the was goign to be pressure from behind
Tried to fend off as long as i could lap 1 was nerve wrecking
We almost lost control of our cars at lap 1 i made huge error goign exitting turn 3 and Bono overtoke me but he ran to deep into turn 4 so got 1st place back then i at lap 6 i believe i run to deep into turn 2 trying to defend from bono but he passed me
Then i was too nervous and car slid and lost soem more positions then 1st pitstop i stalled car noob and some people past me more
Then i was pushing to catch Mikkonen who was infront of me
When i got to him he had soem battle with another car and i was very close to him
But at the moment i wanted to pass him he ran on the grass and almost spun his car and i had nowhere to go did not expect him to spin there....
it both costed us a better position in the end 10th still happy to get that point
see ya at spa

"Q1: 8th 15,2 not so perfect lap but was enough to get into Q2
Q2: got good lap 16,2 5th, very happy with that
R: Start was good didnt lost any places in T1 . After others mistake was up to 3rd where i was till to pitstop what i messed up totally, made spun and drived over the limit in the pit , not so much to talk.
Very dissipointed, speed was very good.
Had pace for TOP5 finish, unlucky.

And again congrats to Bono!!"

"For this race I maybe had a little bigger expectations than the result turned out to be. I couldn't get the speed in the
start of the race and others pulled long gap to me in pretty short time.
Anyway, I can be happy with this. I finished the race, and that's my main goal at the moment. You can end up crashing the walls pretty easily in this track.
I was getting pretty good rhythm but then i had to pit, and after that i had to give room to others who were in different lap.
After that i was driving pretty much alone again, and it's harder to stay focused when there's no one catching you or there's no one in front. I actually had a really big moment at that time. Almost spun straight in to barriers.
Hopefully I will improve in my next race. I can't wait the moment when I can race with others. Congratulations to Bono! Well deserved championship.

"Hi guys !
Sorry for the late comment. I'm really happy to come back to WC again, after years, and see people again !
I wanted to do better than in WS (not that hard I know), at least finnish the race.
I didn't manage to finnish but in the end I'm quite happy still.
The qual was quite disastrous for me. I didn't manage to do a lap under 1.15.2 during all the practice, and in qual I did 1.15.4. I was 13th then.
So the strategy was to be safe in race.
The start wasn't bad, but not good either. I was 15th at the end of 1st lap, behind Cyril Werdmuller. During all the first I was stuck behind him and other people. Hopefully I didn't have to attack, because I was really nervous for my first WC race in a while. So Cyril stop and then I did. The problem is that I changed the car just before the race so I missed the pits and lost 15 seconds. I was quite angry and troubles went away on track. I was quite fast, 10 seconds behind Jim Parisis. I managed to reduce the gap to almost nothing during my second stint, and increase the gap from Jaakko Mikkonen behind me (I was alone and had nothing else to do than looking at the gaps). Before my second stop John-Eric Saxen and Lee Morris came behind after their own pit-stops. John-Eric tried to make the move at the first turn, but I could cross him and take my position back. Then it was the turn of Lee, and in 2 turns he manage to overtake me. Well they were much faster than I was obviously, I would say of course. Then I pitted for the second time, didn't miss the pits this time and got back from Jim by 5 seconds. I was closing the gap but my engine blew up at lap 50, certainly because of first stop manoeuvers.
In the end I learnt that I was quite fast in race compared to others. So I'm happy and it's encouraging for the nextcoming races.
Thank you everyone !"

"Startting from the back of the grid wasn't really ideal for this weekend.

After the start i could gain a few places but then i was just stuck behind Jaakko Mikkonen. After the first pitstop i had finally clean air and could drive some consistent laptimes.
I was on p7 when i wanted to do my 2e pitstop but unlucky my pitlimiter didn't work which resulted in a spin and me hitting the pitbox, DNF.

It's a shame i didnt finish the race because i had potential for a top 5 finish.

"The last day before the race I said to one of my team mates that I was going to do 1,15,0 in Q1 and 1,16,2 in Q2. And it happened, 15,0 in Q1 and 16,2 in Q2, my main fear for this race was just the qualifying sessions, as it's my weakest point. Surprisingly, it was enough for a P6 in Q2, a good place to start.

The start was really chaotic with the front guys, with some of them having contacts/crashing etc. At least my start went fine, having Dimitri behind me was a guarantee as he is a clean guy. My start was pretty same than Raino in front, so I just keep my position in T1, and won a position in T2 because Atze had a contact with Morand I think.

After that I was really driving safely, without pushing much, also saving a bit of engine as it was not possible to pass. All went fine until Patrick started to do so many mistakes and I had him in front, I really wanted to pass him as he was on softer compound and because for the first time I really had a podium chance. Unfortunatelly I tried to push too much in the last corner of the seventh lap and I had a big slide, I couldn't save it and I crashed with the wall, loosing the FW and having important steering damages.

Really sad for the team because the setup and testing work during the week was brilliant. Now Fred is back and I hope he will reach soon his first win. Congratulations to Bono and Precision for the Drivers Championship."

"Q1: lovely lap!

Q2: horrible lap 0.7 of pb. de Wit on pole wasnt a suprise on his supersofts. Being lapped after that says enough. But that's still my frustration speaking.

R: Lovely turn 1 went as planned. My focus was on de Wit, so I kind of went wide and steered in.. In the replay i realized it was a bit close to Bono. Wasnt meant to close any gap as I wanted to overtake de wit on the exit. Apologies for that.

Turn 2 de Wit was on the insde, as expected he overshot the corner so it went perfect.. Only my gears slipped to 1st gear resulting in my rear to start gliding heavily. No problem still. I made small contact with Bono because he got bombed by Morand and after Morand found his way through Bono he hit my rear resulting in my car to be launched into the barrier. End of race. Looking back it is an unfortunate situation since i went wide, and went back to normal line again. So I'm not pointing and won't protest, but I'm sure with any other driver this wouldnt have happened.......

This race I was on top of it. Looking back to the laptimes of the front runners (and knowing my own pace here) I'm even more dissapointed. I was hoping to say next race I will be recovering from this, but due to circumstances this was the last race for me to prepare properly for. Nevertheless big congrats to Bono for his championship. Well deserved and he was clearly the smartest and quickest this season!"
