|"Nice to win again after the Suzuka disappointment. Not much happened this race, quite a lonely race but I'm happy with my drive, considering how much I tested. Thanks to the Kuncman for the setup help"|
|"Fun race in the end. First half was nothing spectacular, with Bono edging out a gap. I ran a bit too conservative settings with coolers, which meant some time loss. But Bono was unbeatable for me anyway. |
I was in no mans land until some lap where I nearly spun and crashed into a wall, which meant Hirrle got past me. We then had a battle until the very end with some tight racing. Puumalainen joined in as well with his 1 stopper for a while. In the end I managed to get past Hirrle when he let me past after he got by me because of a corner cutting I think. After a race full of big and small mistakes here and there, it was nice to get P2 in the end after some nice action. "
|"Q1: Easier than expected, made it through.|
Q2: I went out late so I knew laptimes of the other drivers, just needed a medium lap to be at the front, which I did. P3.
Race: Decided to use soft tyres instead of mediums, 2 stops. That was untested. But I was never happy with these mediums so I just gave it a go for the fun of it.
I stayed in 3rd, lost connection to the two cars ahead, and couldn't get rid of Mikko behind me in the first stint. Knowing Mikko was on mediums and 1 stop, I was pretty sure my strategy would fail.
Pitted in lap 16 or so, and had to pass quite a few drivers who were on 1 stop. That was some fun.
I was still settled to be racing Mikko, but after he made his stop he was 14s behind me due to his misfortune, and the gap stayed identical, which was great. I knew I'd have him after the last stop on fresh tyres.
But then Nilsson made a mistake which allowed me to go through. We had some nice racing, passing Mikko at the same time also. At two points we were battling into the triple chicane, I was left to have no room on both occasions and was forced to cut. Both times I stayed ahead.
I wasn't sure what the stewards would say about that so after the second occasion I gave the position back to Nilsson.
Sadly my car was too bad traction wise, which meant I was never close enough to Nilsson at the end of a straight. P3 was the result.
Unfortunately unlike in Suzuka I never found a good balance on this track and had very little trust into the car even on lower fuel. Not very pleasant. Rear tyres are just too weak in the mod.
Good racing afterall though, I had fun."

Solid start, got a run on Denny out of T1 but backed off.
1st stint was going quite well, 2 stoppers pitted in front of me, but then on my pit-in lap my rFactor suddenly dropped to desktop. I have no idea why it happened, it took be a few moments to get my mouse and get back in to the game. Luckily I didn't get any damage but I lost plenty of time.
After that I completely failed at driving. Was ~1s per lap off the pace and couldn't do anything about it.
Somehow it was enough for P4, but the race is really irrelevant when thinking about the events of today.
|"Q1: was ok p6, could have get p3 in my last attempt but I made an erorr in the last sector.|
Q2: Again p6, lap wasn't perfect but i could live with that.
I had a good start and was very close next to Mikko into turn 1.
After that i tried to keep up with the guys infront but they where simply to fast. Then suddenly i was on P2 because I was on 1 stop and others on 2 stop strategy. It didn't take to long or the 2 stoppers passed me again. There was nothing I could do on the old medium tyres. So from that point I was back to reality on p5.
It was a boring race for me nothing really to fight for but this was my best performance in WC so thats is really satisfying."

R: Start was good from 12(cause of mark was putted to last) 10. Then i passed de matos and some laps later passed saxen, was great fight with him. All the race i pushed so much to keep Saxen behind me and i done it. Finished in 6th.
I'm very happy with that cause i didnt thought that my speed is quite fightable for TOP10 finish.
GZ Bono for his win, he showed awasome speed."
|"Happy to get some points after a few difficult rounds. I was a bit too careful at the start and lost positions to the GT Omega cars. My plan was to overtake cars during the pit stops, knowing I had the option to pit earlier with low tire wear. This, however, backfired when Kostadinov's pace started to drop massively, leaving me as a sitting duck behind him for several laps until I eventually made the pass.|
Due to this time loss I failed to catch Room for the pit stop, and later had a hairy moment when Gosbee spun in front of me on lap 26. During the remaining 30 laps Room drove very well, so I failed to reach overtaking distance, but nevertheless I am still quite happy with my pace here which was much better than last year."

Q2: an horrible lap, idk what happened but was not expected.
Race: Not much more to say, i haven't got the rythm i had in training so was struggling with the car all the race. P8 at the end, again some points for the team."

I gained like 5 places in lap 1.
Battling with Lee and Lapchin. Lee cut the track and went to let Lapchin through but I was overtaking him at the time and Lee ran into me or vise versa, Had front damage. Did my normal pit stop which was 9 seconds due to damage. 2nd stint i hit the wall lightly which was fine, at end of stint Raino came infront of me after he did his stop and I had a run on him at turn 10 but we made contact and I spun. I had damage again and a 9 sec stop. 27 laps on softs was almost possible. At end of race I had caught Patel quickly but on the last lap my front right died so I cruised to finish.

|"Well, Qualifying didn't go as planned for me. I should have been in Q2 but I messed up the first lap, then got held up on the second lap (Being out of sync and other guys on slow outlaps) - Final lap was actually a good second and third sector, but the first sector i lost .3 already to my PB which put me in P13. and .2 off...|
I messed up the start epically, jumped it xD So I ended up behind Dimitri, served my drive through on lap 1 and came out like 7 seconds behind the pack. I was faster than the guys in front with my mediums, so I was optimistic still for some points possibly. Morris retired and then Aalberts hit the wall so that gave me two places. I caught up to Disley on lap 14 or so, I was getting quite frustrated as I was losing like 1 second a lap, and I tried a pass on lap 19 in the left right left chicane. He left room but unfortunately I hit the inside kurb which spat me out into him and we made contact.
I quickly pulled away from Disley but then Lapchin on Softs caught me up. and on lap 22 he passed me. I knew he would pass and he wasn't really in my race so I didn't defend.
Then it wasn't much for me after this in my race. I pitted on lap 25 and jumped De Wit, I was similar pace as the guys in front (Dimitri, Saxén, Room) so it was going to be virtually impossible to close them down. Near the end, I had to save my brakes as they were going away, so I was getting closed quickly by Gosbee. On lap 53, down the long straight in the end of Sector 1 we were side by side and he tried to pass but I held him off there and also in the next turn. Next lap he tried to pass in the harpin before the straight, I didn't think he'd do that so I was turning in already, tried to turn out but it wasn't enough. Nearly stalled but thanks to Gosbee to let me through! He tried to pass me again in the next two turns but I was able to hold it off!

Great start and went from 19th to 11th in the 1st lap
Race today was unknows to me i was on hard tyres which was the wrong choice but 11th was gonna be the max today
But after my spin in the end 14th after a long long pitstop

Anyway, the setup wasn't good in qualifications and I couldn't make it. P11.
I made some changes on the setup before the start, which was really bad. Indeed after a little mistake in the hairspin, I was 16th at the middle of 1st lap.
I was really under pressure in the first laps, behind Luka Oslakovic and ahead of Mark Aalberts, and then Martin Gosbee. I wasn't in a good rhythm at all. Anyway I could pass Luka at lap 2 when he spun in the last left hander.
At lap 5 I was able to catch Lee Morris after he had cut a chicane in the end of the back straight. He fairly let me pass, but it resulted in a little touch with Martin just behind. I had a little gap ahead. But at lap 9 I was behind Patrick De Wit. I could overtake him in the back straight in 2 times. I was 10th then.
At laps 13/14 I was coming close to Dimitri De Matos in front so I decided to pit at lap 14. I came back in 14th position. Then it was noman's land so I could attack maximum. I came close to Blair Disley and Muhammed Patel at lap 20. Blair nicely let me pass. But Muhammed was harder to overtake. It was done in lap 22. Then I overtook Patrick De Wit at lap 26.
At lap 27 I was 5th behind Mikko Puumalainen. I could go as fast as possible, and at lap 32 my tires were hard to handle so I pit again. I went out in 9th position just behind Dimitri. I could overtake him at lap 35.
At lap 44 I could overtake John-Eric Saxen after a long fight, and at lap 48 Raino Room. I was then 6th and I was trying to reduce the gap behind Cyril Werdmuller. But the engine broke at lap 53...
Anyway it was a really funny race for me, thanks to a good strategy and lower wings."

Q2: I hadn't tested the Q2 setup thus were slow. On the flying lap I cut a corner and decided to cancel my lap
Race: I knew I was good at starts. I was hoping to do that this race. From 10th I managed to pass 4 cars and stayed behind Cyril. I tried to keep up with him, but he was too fast for me. As my tires wore off the drivers behind me started to gruadually close on me. After losing 2 or 3 positions, I decided to do a pitstop on the 23th lap. That was earlier than I had planned. After the pitstop I made some stupid mistakes. Something was wrong with the car and I coudn't concentrate well. I managed to pass Patrick but then spun and touched the wall. After all these problems I decided to call it a day and pressed escape."

R: Not much to say, car was not behaving as i expected and it was actualy having to much understeer still and my rear end was not having enough grip so i was not happy at all the first laps of this race. THen lap 9 the car understeerd into the wall loosing a front wing with suspension damage, decided to call it a day."

Couldn't drive in Q as I've allocated for the race on the same day so I started from the last place and made my way up to 12th place where I spun my car in 2nd lap of the race wich caused my engine to shut down, unluckily. Could be a good debut but there's nothing to regret."|

After barely making the finish yesterday with my fuel and losing a lot of time in the final laps i took 3 liters more today to be sure i wouldnt have to cruise. Then i was focused on keeping my Med Tyres up to temperature in the form lap so i wouldnt as much understeer as i had in WS the first few laps.
Things were looking good and was feeling confident , but then after the last corner on form lap, my FFB was simply gone, i was trying to reset it and then accidentally hit the LControl button and got confused and simply stalled the engine.
I try to learn from every mistake and got another harsh lesson today!
grats to my tmates for their results and the other point finishes, i will try and join u next time.
oh well, will just try and enjoy the final race..... cya there"

|"It was short noticed i was going to drive, didn't have a clue about pace or Q2 na meds... I think i should have sticked with 2 stops because i knew the behaviour of the softs from WT race. I got easier to Q2 than expected... then Q2 no idea where the grip was as mentioned with meds so P9. |
Start decent but i got pushed wide into t1 and couple of cars passed me, was battling de Wit for 10th i think on the longer straight but then one of the WF1 cars hit me and I spun... and since i was going very slowly in that corner i had very little time to press clutch and unfortunately stalled
Shame as I was looking to have some good fun, could have earned a point or 2... better luck next time. "
