"It was a very exciting race for me with some fantastic and fair battles. I really enjoyed it a lot. My strategy didn't work out though which was putting me back to third. I couldn't really hold Greco in the end, I tried, but I had a few problems during the race and it was just not meant to be. Nevertheless it was great fun once more. The FSR WC is in its best shape ever I think, fantastic field and great competition, makes it of course harder to quit racing after this year, hehe. But anyway, I'm looking forward to drive the last races with the BMW Mod, it should be even more fun now."

"Well, good race for me. I tried an aggressive 3-stop strategy but it didn't pay out as it should have. I was hoping for a podium finish and maybe to have a chance for my first FSR win.

4th is still a good position. I can live with that. Looking forward to Hungary now.

Also a big thanks to our sponsors Red Bull and Natural Point!

"Yeah 5th and 6th for the RR squad, im realy happy with this. If you would have said that before the race i would have said youre crazy.

Anyway i wasnt supose to drive but in the end i didnt had any choice, i still have to take care with mine knee wich i injured 2 weeks ago so 2 races (WC and WS ACE) on one day isn"t that what i want to do.

Anyway the qualify went ok, i was able to come close to mine pb time and due some penalty's i moved up to 8th spot. At the start of the race all things went perfect, though i believe i lost one place.

I knew mine strategie would pay off and in the begin i was even able to keep up with some drivers in front of me from what i didnt expected i would be able to do. I had a few little battles with ferry, in the end he spun of i think After that i just had an decent race without to much mistakes and mine pace was good. I always had some drivers who where close to me like not more then 5 seconds away so i couldnt afford any mistakes.

So im verry pleased that im 5th at the end.

IN the end i also saw the batle between mine team m8 Christian Neumann and Joakim Bengtson and i was verry pleased that Chris was able to pass him in the last 2 laps of the race. Thanks a lot for youre efforts Chris.

"It was fantastic to be able to do my 3rd race this season. With no races, and except 30 laps around Indy, no sim-racing laps for 3 month I didn't have the illusion I could be near the leading pace here. Especially Hockenheim is a circuit, where I have been doing not well even in years in which I was in good shape. No question I was missing much knowledge about setups and how to drive very fast with this mod compared to regular drivers. I decided not to be too disappointed by possibly big gaps, but to prepare as good as possible for the race.
Qualifying performace was a joke of course (not a good one though). Because of being only 13th on the grid I opted for 2 stops with two long stints at the beginning (each 25 laps). Now I would say this was the right decision.
My race wasn't much action packed. In the first laps I was very careful. All I didn't want to have with an early DNF. I absolutely noticed the lack of fresh race experience I had. I needed long to settle down and concentrate on the race decently. Even without many close fights I felt enough pressure this race.
In the end things worked out in my favor. My strategy was good, a couple of faster drivers didn't finish and I drove regular and without driving error.
I'm very happy for the team and Mark. Overall this has been the best GP for Roaldo Racing in a difficult season for us.

Perhaps I have lost speed in the last month, but not the ability to drive and finish races. Perhaps I can improve on the first thingie in the next weeks. This surely wasn't my last race in FSR WC 2006."

"I first want to thank Gabriel and Christian for putting me in the car for this race. I though I had too good pace in practice just to sit out the race and I was happy to be asked to drive. It turned out that my pace indeed was quite good. Qually wasn't what I'd hoped for, there was quite alot more in the car, but a mistake in T1 cost me time on both my flyers, perhaps it was due to driving slow outlaps behind other cars that preveted me from building a good temperature in the tyres.

The start was quite bad. I had too much wheelspin and lost down to 10th before the hairpin. But I could regain some of that with good strategy and some passing to be 5th at the time of my first pitstop. It was uneventful from that until Markus made a mistake in front of me in the middle of the third stint. That made me a little over confident that I would score big points. I lost concentration in T1 spun, brushed the wall and bent a wheel. With Neumann right under my rear wing and a bent car I had to drive at the absolute limit from there with a difficult car. He pitted earlier and I could stretch my stint for an extra lap to give me two laps in free air to set quick laptimes. It worked out and I was out ahead.

I thought I was about to make it home in sixth, but Christian put me under alot of pressure and with my bent car it was diffiuclt not to make mistakes. I had a few small offs in T1 that cost me time, but on lap 65 I got the car really unbalanced there and went very wide. To avoid trouble with the marsha for this I decided to back off and let him go. I tried to take it back on the final lap, but in the end it wasn't enough. Still 7th was good but I had the pace to be 5th hadn't I made that mistake so little disappointed. "

"My quals were slower than expected. In my two attempts I made big mistakes. In the first attempt I didn't want to take too many risks and didn't take T1 good, and in second attempt I was .4 in front but lost everything in last corner with another mistake.

I started 14, with Koek already overtake me a few laps later. I had pressure and I had to attack, and unfortunately I was losing time.

Nothing really exciting happened till Bilibok made his 2nd pit-stop. He was 10 seconds behind me but I had to do another stop. In every race I put a goal that motivates me, and I decided to do everything to be in front after my last pit-stop.
I gained 12s in about 10 laps thanks to a lighter car and a good driving, and with a very good pit-stop I was 5-6 seconds in front, with 9th position.
I tried to keep on same rythm but Bilibok was coming closer. He made a mistake that made him lose 3 seconds and gave me a little air, but I couldn't take advantage of it.
The 3 last laps where thrilling, with 2 overtaking attempts. But as I was 8th (essa retired), I couldn't lose this precious point...and managed to keep it.

Thanks laszlo for this great battle!"

"I whish to thank the Kiwi team and our sponsor, F1 Racing, for this second opportunity to race in this league. The world class drivers around are always motivating me, I had a very good race with very few mistakes, only a couple maybe.

I've qualified 12th (didn’t expect more), then good start, some overtakes I think. No mistakes (almost) the whole race. At some point I was 6th or 5th, I really don’t know. I was mostly in front and behind of Neumann, with Denis Kirakopoulos around on 3 stops. I saw he will be the man to beat.

I really don’t know where I lost many seconds after my 2nd pit-stop, but I had some 9 seconds before stopping and when Denis also stopped, he came out about 6-8 seconds ahead. I was really surprised loosing about 15 seconds in just a couple of laps.

Then I picked up the pace and was catching him. We were running 9th and 10th. Then somebody retired (Zaahir I think) and there was 1 point to catch. I’ve pushed hard and caught Denis with 2 laps to go, but I was over-optimistic going into the hairpin and touched him. Nobody got spun off or damaget, so we kept the fight on. I caught him again on the very last lap, this time I was in his tail, with better top-speed. But approaching the hairpin he was all over the place and I didn’t wanted to be very aggressive, so I took it easy. That was the end, no other chance to overtake (I’ve even spun off later but that really didn't matter anyway).

It was a very hard race, I’ve finished 9th with 8th place within a reach.

"Wel, after a bad start did I start the race with a lot of mistakes. Brake to late and go wide at all the corners. I did a 2 stop so the I drove the first 6 laps with a lot off fuel and that was not easy. My goal for this race was a points again, but I was to slow to fight for points. My feelings for the new mod are good and hope that we can make better setups, more realistic.

"This was offcourse again a terible quali run. Even with a big cut on the first turn i was only on P13. It fore sure not my thing to drive with low fuel in quali. So i asked the marshall to place me behind all the drivers, because i didnt want to fase a penalty fore the next race.

So i started from the last place, did a good start overtook the both ash cars before the first turn. and afterthat i did again a few good overtakings. Dont now exactly but i think after the first lap i got stuck behind Laszlo who was on P11 i think. He made an error in lap 3 an goes wide at the Hairpin. I took my change and put my car in front off me. I dont know what he was thinking but Laszlo made my race to a disaster. He pushed me off track i realy was pissed after that, and pushed like hell. Again i was able to overtake a lot off people, but i think i was the only one with 3 stops on the backfield. Maybe a stupid desision but i was much faster on a 3 stopper in practice then on 2 stops. And iam sure when Laszlo did not ruin my race i was able to fight fore points thats fore sure.

But after the first stint i was again behind a driver and i was faster. but could not overtake and i spun off. I didnt hit anything but i was pissed, and deside to quit. After this sort off races its difficult to motivate my self to go on. Iam realy still very mad, and its better to say nothing now. and take a little brake from racing. "
