|"My lap in Q2 was very good and it was quite important to get pole position to make my strategy work. Unfortunately, I messed up the start and I immediately lost P1 to Morgan. We had an awesome and fair battle and when I was 2 seconds infront after the 1st stop, I thought I had the win in the bag already. I didn't expect Morgan to be on a 3 stopper so I was quite worried at some points but my pace improved and in the end we had another great battle. I had the advantage of fresher tyres so our strategy worked quite well. Really enjoyed this race!"|

I switched from ATR to Ghostspeed caused by bad atmosphere in the previous team.
Q1 : I made one good Q1 lap, enough to pass in Q2. the 6min left was to be familiar with Q2 setup.
Q2 : I made a good S1, but in the chicane in S2 i blocked the brakes and miss the apex. I lost a lot of time here. The S3 was not bad but i loose too much time on S2 where my setup was good.
I made a really good start. I was flying.
The first stint was really good, with good battle with bono, but i know ATR was on 3 stops strategy and the battle coasts me time. the ATR guys were only at 2s behind me.
So i switched from 4 to 3 stops strategy because i hold bono, hoping he will loose time in traffic. but he lost zero.
And i lost too much time with bad tyres. battle with Brjlak didn't help me, loosing 2/2.5s in 2 laps.
In his last pitstop, bono huis came back in track just in my gearbox. With 4 laps old tyres i could not do anything. When he overtook me, i knew it was finished and i keep the car ok to reach the finish line.
nice win bono, it was a great battle :)
2nd is a great result for Ghostspeed, with Jim, my friend and teammate, who finished 6th

Q1: My first try looked good enough, so I started to practice for Q2.
Q2: I had a quite good lap untill the last 2 corners. I went a bit to fast in the second last corner. I lost a lot of time due to this. I was starting from P5. Not the best, but ok position to get a good race.
Race: Had a really good start. Could drive past Nilsson directly and then it was following the leading pack. Morgan and Huis were driving away a little bit from Jeffrey and myself, but we managed to stay quite close to them. After my first pitstop I could come close to Jeffrey and drove past him. It was interesting to see how the 4 stop strategy was going to turn out against the 3stop. As Bono won, maybe 4 stops was better, it depends on wich pace you had :) Anyway, I finished 3rd. Not a to bad result, and a really good teamresult with Jeffrey in 4th behind me. "

Q1: In my first lap I managed to do a 1:30.4 but remembering the times people did in practice, I knew I wasn't save for a top 10 position. Went out again and took P1 with a 1:30.2
Q2: Very very nervous. Haven't done anything like this before, knowing my family was watching me and the people on the broadcast, I couldn't think clear.
First sector went good, was faster than Huis but I messed up the chicane in s2 and lost my concentration there, still a 1:30.4 enough for P2
Race: Had a very bad launch of the start, Morgan flew by immeadiatly even passing Huis. After the first couple of laps I noticed that I didn't have the pace to compeet with them, so I took care and did my own laps without risking anything.
Shortly after my first pitstop Marconi went into the pits right in front of me, losing out a position to my teammate Stoffel Vandoorne. After that, it was just keeping the pace up to make sure I would stay ahead of the 4 stopping guys.
Very happy in general. After a very unlucky WS race, getting P4 in only my 2nd WC race ever, I can't be happier.
|"A good weekend overall on a track I used to struggle on. In qualifying I did two good laps, nothing stellar, which was enough for 7th place on the grid.|
In the race I had a good start, overtaking Masciulli on the line. Knowing that Nilsson was probably on a 3 stop strategy, I had in mind to pass him as early as possible. I was able to get alongside him into Stowe and complete the pass in Club, which was the key move it turned out.
After this I could focus catching the ATR cars in front. I made a slight error before my first pit stops, which cost some time, but after the second pit stops I was able to get past both ATR cars. At this point I wasn't yet aware that they were doing 1 stop less than me. With hindsight, I could perhaps have pushed a bit more at this stage. After my final stop, the gap to Rietveld ahead was over 10 seconds, which meant I could cruise to finish at 5th.
Overall this was one of the best weekends I had in the last couple of years in terms of absolute race pace. This is an encouraging sign that a few podiums might be at hands if the circumstances fall together later in the season."

Race > I made a good start passing Room in T1. He passes me right back with a nice and clean move. Then Brljak and De Wit were just behind me fighting hard and I was scared that they're gonna take me out on some weird braking they did. Lap 2 I'm trying a move from the outside on Room but he defended well there. And immidiately I had De Wit trying a move on me while I was braking early to avoid collision with Room. His move doesn't stick. Lap 3 and Brljak takes the inside line and goes wide on the exit leaving me no room... And then once again De Wit trying a scary move that doesn't stick. Lap 5, I'm behind Brljak and I;m trying a move from the inside where I know that I have better braking than him (saw it on the previous laps). But he closes the door hard, driving his car too early on apex just to hit me... very bad move by him there...
I'm having half a spin, losing 2 more positions. Lap 9 I'm behind Varga and overtake him, but he fought back on next corner and we are side by side, Greco is gaining advantance and tries to gain positions but he hits me from behind. Lap 9 and I'm getting into the pits early to avoid the traffic. Rejoining in 17th! From lap 18th I knew that me and Tali were on same strategy and he was just 3-4 seconds behind me. This was my target, to finish infront of Tali. Lap 39 I'm passing Brljak for 7th. Last stop on lap 42 and I'm rejoining in 6th! All the hard work through the race paid off! Now I had to keep Tali behind me for another 10 laps. And so I did taking 6th place.
Congrats to Huis and my teamate Morgan for 2nd!"

I have no idea what happened and why I lost around 0,4-3s every lap.
The race it self was fun to drive and I had many great battles and overtakes.
Frustrating overall as we had pace to run in front for sure.

Qualifying was good, as good as I had hoped for. This was my biggest worry. I thought the race would be easier, but I was wrong.
We made a last minute call to start on medium tyres on a heavy first stint since my testing pace was reasonable on this tyre and fuel load. But in the actual race, I was some 6-7 tenths slower than testing, sometimes more, so I knew by then things would be bad. I would love to tell you why this was the case, but I can't since I have no idea. I dropped down places like crazy the first laps, unable to defend in any way.
In the first stop, I missed my pit box and lost a lot of time there. As a result, I got stuck behind cars I should not have been stuck behind. In the end, I should have been some places higher, maybe two, but a combination of bad strategy and mistakes on my own resulted in 8th place.
As expected, we suffered a bit on this type of track in the end. Budapest will be hard too. See you in some weeks."

Start was worse than I expected. Lost one position while trying to be safe.
I swapped positions with others for first couple laps. Normal racing.
Third lap I saw clashing front of me out of T7. I went for outside line since inside seemed to be overly busy. I passed De Wit there, despite few hits that he seemed to share with everyone. T13, I was driving normal racing line. Didn't seem to have threat from behind, or thats what I thought!
De Wit totally ignores common sense and just straight lines the track between T12-T13 accelerating towards inside for next corner. I had zero expectation anyone would do such thing, but he does! I'm amazed to learn he wasn't even on same strategy. He was doing the less stops but and slower on track. He had absolutely no reason to fight that hard against faster cars at that stage.
So I turned in, De Wit is there and we collide. I survived with damaged car, meanwhile De Wit spun and stalled. Again where is common sense? Not here; The guy sits on track for 20 seconds just waiting for someone to hit him again. Luckily other drivers seemed to escape without damage, despite some contacts happening again.
It's such a shame that I'm prolly the one getting the penalty for all this. I wouldn't in this life time attempt such pass and I expect others do the same. This time my naivety struck back.

|"Q1: I messed up all the runs, I took Fredrik's setup shortly before the race which proved to be a mistake. P11 but my fastest lap was with a cut on Stowe so my 2nd lap counted which put me 12th.|
I had a decent start, overtaking Gosbee who went a little wide in t1... more action in Club chicane where i had to be careful of the guys in front so De Wit easily got up the inside of me. I immediately got him back around the outside of Village but he got me again in Brooklands xD
On L2 De Wit and Parisis were battling in the chicane again and i cut back to overtake De Wit but i didn't know if i was in front or not, so kept weaving to see if i could get back on the racing line, but it seems he was still slightly alongside so he had to take a bit of grass, my apologies for that.
L3 Parisis got a bad run on the Hangar straight and I got a chance on the inside, he unexpectedly tried to defend the outside, so we touched but nothing special. On L5 he tried a very optimistic move into Village and gave me a little damage and he half spun... i also lost a position to Mikkonen. On L8 everybody was very close to each other in the Nilsson train so into t1 even 3 of us went wide lol and i nearly crashed into Mikkonen(almost like Morgan in Canada xD) who had a scary moment on the kerb but i somehow passed him without damage. On L10 I had Fredrik in front of me and I didn't know if he was letting me go or defending twice so i hit him which gave me more damage, the car was understeering like hell from then on and combined with the messed up setup i chose i was really struggling.
The rest of the race was quite boring and I couldn't make the 3 stop work with such slow pace... on L43 I came a car length in front of Mikkonen but he had much fresher tires and it didn't take long for him to pass(L45), then i was just bringing the car home, I would say this was my worst WC race so far. I think i've learned my lesson about changing setups last minute this time... we just can't figure out atm why our car doesn't work well in the race, we have to work hard on this matter.
Anyway, Hungary has been my strongest track last year, so it should be fine. Cyaa"

Q2: 9th place with 30,7 was suprised that others so fast.
R: Lost 2 places with some laps and after that was stuck behind Nilsson all first stint, lost over second per lap. After first stop i was down to 13 i think and at this moment was my race basicly over. We had good pace but dont understand how i lost times in race. Overall not happy at all. Hate that track also. See you in next track.

I was at my friend's house, because we had to leave a home, and i was ill too, so i was about 0.5 slower, than i could be.
On the Q, i tried to get used to the different wheel and computer, chair, everything.
The race wasn't too exciting too, the start was good, but i had a big lag after that. I had fps issues all the race, and the chair wasn't too comfortable. There wasn't anything interesting during the race, the next race will be my home grandprix, i want to show my real pace, and i want to prepare as well as i can."

Race - The start was quite hectic, ran wide on curb at T1 loosing position to Brljak and then Mikkonen overtook me down the Hangar straight. In the start of lap 2 or 3 it was very tight from 15-10th and there was a choke in the new section and I went for an oppurtunistic move where Varga came across me and I due to contact I had very damaged suspension. I pitted immediatley and came out more with a 30+ second gap to the car ahead. Through my stops I passed Marconi a few times but that was all the action untill my last stop. With a short 8 lap stint I was doing Q laps each lap. I was catching Varga at a very quick rate and caught and passed him on lap 50, I had 2 laps to get a 3.5 second gap to Greco which I finished 3 tenths behind him.
Was a shame as it is my home GP with bad luck continuing and another disco in WS while running for a good podium finish.

q1: 1.31.0 which is a good time consider that i think there wasnt even one corner i get it right :)
race: start ok,.. after that it was just a mess.. everyone was fighting... everyone was a gladiator there.. we did really bad lap times... so i thought I can do this race with one less stop. so I switched my strategy.. in the second stint at the first laps it was worked i find myself in top ten from 16th.. but after that I was just slow.. my setup was not adjusted for this strategy.. the car had much more understeering with more fuel.. so I just killed the front tires for the last laps every stint.. and of course i didn't put enough fuel for the last stint.. i just stopped almost in front of the finish line "great"
I just want to forget this weekend... and I want to say sorry for the team.. this was simply not my raceweekend..

Epic drives from both, to be honest I really enjoyed Jim today, some of his overtaking moves today were.. just epic!
As for me, what to say? I wanted to put on a good performance at once, as I feel it drifting away really..
Q: really bad, I couldn't put a proper lap together.
R: I made a great start, and while I was overtaking Greco, where I was just claerly in the front of, he decided to crash me like he had something with me.
Really unfair, really unfair. I did nothing wrong, it's not me putting the car in the wrong place, it's him deciding to end my race.
It may well have been my last race in WC for a while, and I wanted to do well, but it didn't even last a sector.
So, really unhappy, I hope I can race against you guys in Hungary..
P.S. @ ATR Boss: Problem Martin? What I've just read on Facebook made me think there's some serious stuff going wrong here. FSR Administration must really have a look at it."
