|"The qualy went well, P5, i hoped in a good start, but it wasn't perfect. I tried to overtake Jeff on the outside line, but it wasn't succesfull, and then my pace wasn't enough to the podium, i was lucky with Morand and Keithley's crash. I had a great fight with De Wit in the 28th lap ( 33 to go ). That was my race, it was a bit boring, but the result is very good for the team. The car was amazing, thanks for it. Grande!"|

The racestart was ok lost some place then braking at turn 1 brljak touched me but had no damage
Then i had a fight with mark aalberts for p7 which i passed at lap 2 when he made a small mistake
Then i was on a 3 stopper compared to the rest a 4 stopper
When p de wit and mak was in the lead i was so proud wooot
leading 3 laps or so:)
I was heading for a p6 then there were some retirements
and all a sudden i was p4
A great result for me and the team

|"Overall this was a good race. In qualifying I did again not manage to get all sectors together, which meant ending outside the top 10 as 12th.|
In the start I was lucky as Parisis and Brljak had contact, which I just escaped. A couple of laps later Aalberts ran wide in front of me, again just barely avoided contact. I was then hoping to get past De Wit as soon as possible, as I quickly realized he was running a 3-stop strategy with more fuel, but overtaking on this track proved to be difficult.
After the half-point I was aiming for 6th-7th place finish when suddenly Keithley and Morand had their moment. After the final stops. my gap to De Wit was 5 seconds with 10 laps left to go. I decided to play safe and save brakes, but in the end it turned out I was catching him quicker than expected, so decided to go for a final push. This was not enough, so a fifth place result once again, which seems to be my lucky number this year.
Hopefully the season will continue in similar terms at Suzuka - a track I consider my personal favourite."

Got a decent start and found a nice spot to brake a bit later than others which got me alongisde 2 cars but De Wit nearly parked the car on t1 apex and i clipped him, causing Jim to hit me hard in the back and dealing big damage to both cars :(
The rear of the car was destroyed, the car was pulling to the right and had no traction at all, was 1s off my pace and i couldn't even keep up with the train in front, so i decided to pit 2 laps earlier than planned and just had to fix the damage, losing me 10s in the pits. The car still wasn't ideal but i was only about 3 tenths off my pace instead of 1s. I came out down in 17th and had to claw back in the points, first passing Marconi on his outlap(L12), then Francesconi(L14 t1), Disley(L16 t5/6), Masciulli(L20 t1) and then began to chase Varga. Just when i was about to try and pass him he pitted on L34, i stayed 2 laps longer and leaped him with the later stop. I came out behind Disley again and made a nice overtake (L38 t1). My next target was Aalberts who was about 4s in front, I was gaining about 3 tenths per lap and when i finally caught him, De Wit got in between us after his last stop. When we pitted together(L48), the gap was again 2s and i started slowly catching up but Mark had a penalty so we didn't have a battle, P6 in the end.
Another rather unlucky race with major time losses and damage, i think i would be close to P3 without that(with Morgan and Jack DNF). At least a good points finish...

Didnt expected to reach Q2 so aparantly pace was better then expected. Hoped to take p9 p10 at the end of the road but it turned out a little bit better p7 wich could have been p6 if it wasn't for the drive trough i got after my final pitstop"
|"I knew I didn't have good qualifying pace, and hence my 15th position on the grid.|
WIth the race, gained a bit in the first stint as others had problems. I did a 3 stop strategy because I felt I could gain track position. A 4 stop would have been overall quicker I think. My 8th place was through others problems. Conisdering starting position and pace, 8th is very happy."
|"9th from last place not bad.. I'm happy I could score some points for the team. It was a really hard race, at first stint I stucked behind Filosa so I made an early pitstop to overtake him, luckly this tactic worked... I'had a pretty good race pace so I found my self at 8th place.. somewhy my wheel started to make double shifts in the last 20 laps.. so I had to drive more carefully, sadly I made a mistake because of this.. and I lost one place against Disley, in the last stint I was faster than him, but that was too late.. maybe if the race one lap longer :)...|

Q2: S1 was good S2 missed a curb and had to lift of throttle lost like 2 tenth.
S3 Best s3 of the field.
Race Had great fun today.
My first problem was in my 2 pit stops when i had a little trouble knowing what morand would do so I missed my pit box costing me like 7 seconds.
I accidentally pressed request pit stop instead of pit limiter.
Got a stop and go but i did a drive through first.
Other than that without the mistakes in the pits I was on for 4th place. I was lucky to score one point due to the pit stop errors but happy to have pace for top 6 in wc and thanks to the team for giving me confidence to race in wc and for the work."
|"With the grid penalty I tryed to make 3 stops strategy and that work well, starting last I was fighting for top 5 and I should finish at least 6th. Unluckyly, I broke my pit limiter button on G25 and I get stop&go for speeding in pitlane and i was another time out of top ten for sick things. This season is a waste of potential for me, but i am happy for the comeback starting last before that."|

|"The team did a superb job for this weekend, they all worked really hard and we were very competative and were hopeful of some good results.|
Q1 - Solid lap and safely through to..
Q2 - Got 3rd which on the face of it is pretty good, but if I hadnt messed up S3 it could have been pole.
Got a decent start and held position following Morgan and Bono, but all that changed after the first round of stops where i found myself infront of Morgan, a position which i have never found myself in before.
This situation continued as the stints cycled around and when Morgan got on my tail everytime my pace naturally slowed a bit as i was being careful not to make any mistakes and allow him an easy pass, which is easily done if you decide to overdrive your car and potentially wreck yourselves out of the race.
Sadly it all came to a spectacular end for both of us which was a shame, but it was fun going wheel to wheel with one of the best around and if someone had told me a year ago i would be doing that i would have pre-ordered my padded white coat on the spot.

Q1/Q2 : i limitate damage, P2
Race : good start, i was too sweet in braking to avoid contact, allows Huis to take P1.
1st stint was correct.
After first pitstop, i came back on track behind Keithley, which was on 5 stop, but surprising, he is slower than me ( almost 0.3s slower per sector when i was within 0.7s gap ), he had no intention to let me pass, untill contact. Rietveld cought me up, at least Precision strategy worked but he hasn't good pace to overtake me.
After the 3rd pitstop, i came back again behind Keithley, same problem, but huge consequence, after a rough fight and passing him in outside, we were side by side again, my car goes a little on the left, and when the car touch the other car, we spin together, ending my race.
Anyway, fighting hard and dirty ( like the missing braking in 2nd stint ) against championship leaders when you are not able to finish better than 8th is a bit difficult to understand. That's a point.

|"Managed to have clean race actualy still had cars in view for a while but, you guys are to fast for me still. lap 29 i pitted and got sng when came out of pits and was think to let car lap me i think at time and i accidently stopped car to slow and stalled :( esc out from race."|

Q1 very 1st lap,but the 2nd one was great but I stucked in traffic so I lost many time.Almost got through Q2,but classified on 13th place.
T1,dont know what happend,but I saw Jim hitting someone and he suddenly braked and stopped,I had nowhere to go and I crashed in his rear wing.I lost my front wing and at that moment my race was over.
I pitted in that lap but I was too far,and also my suspension was in very bad condition.I tried to do 3stop strategy then,but i couldn't pull out those laps I could,because of my damaged vehicle .In lap 23, I completly lost my rear end and I crashed just before Schumacher S.
Im feeling really bad,because I disappointed the team,Patrick has done great job and I congralute to him.
I hope I'll have another chance in Suzuka,but now I have to sort everything out and look forward to Japan....

At the start, I try not to have any contact at the first corner. With the error of someone I find myself in 12th place I think. In the first stint, do not force the pace given that before duels were very aggressive. I did not want to get involved in accidents, in fact I think I've seen two or three contacts in front of me. I make my first stop on lap 13 but I do not know why else pitted for 11 seconds (maybe came along). When I get back on track I have lost 4 positions and I was behind Marconi. The attack at the chicane, but incoming curve does not pass. Output I better acceleration but suddenly rammed his car lost the front wing. I did not understand what happened, I think he was wrong because acceleration was practically stopped. I came back to the pits but by now I had lost concentration after a few laps it went against the wall."

Q2 : Big mistake in braking zone (touching the grass) of last chicane, loosing at least 2 tenths. P7.
Start correct, I've been touched by Mark Aalberts in turn 3 and lost several positions. My strategy was agressive and I was quite troubled being stuck behind drivers on other strategies. I've been touched later by Mark Aalberts and Petar Brljak so I lost some time again. In pits I lost time also by repairing. Then I committed a mistake which was ending my race. Race to forget.
