Comment: Qualifying wasn’t too disappointing. My eventual grid position time was 6 tenths slower than my PB and would have only been worth one more position on the grid. I felt more comfortable starting on the right hand side of the grid (3rd) because there was room on the outside of T1 for the start.

Pedro and Nazario collided at the first corner and left a little gap for me to take the lead just in front of Ben who had a charging start. I haven’t led many GPs so the pressure was on, this is even before I had time to consider Ben who was glued to me rear wing looking to get past. After Ben’s early exit, I had the recovering Nazario hunting me down. On the last corner I had a little slide which allowed Nazario to get along side me on the start/finish straight beginning lap 12, he misjudged something or maybe it was intentional but to me it looked as if he braked across in front of me at the same time clipping my front wing with his rear wheel. My anger at this manoeuvre soon turned into a smile as he pitted and was obvious he wasn’t one stopping like me. Towards the end of the race I had a 6-8sec lead and I just to manage the gap.

My thanks goes out to the FTS team for helping me get my first victory.

Comment: Extremly happy to of finished on the podium in 2nd spot.
My qualifying was steady 6th in the first session and 5th in the second session. I started the race and was in 5th after the first corner, the other guys had great race pace and started pulling a gap from me while my team mate Brian Labode was right behind me. After about 8 Laps i noticed that Wayne had spun off, this put me upto 4th and 2 laps later i started pulling a gap from Brian L....i guessed that Wayne had caught Brian and was fighting for position. This proved to be the case as 3 laps later Wayne had caught me. i held my ground for as long as i could but he was so much faster..... i guessed he was on a 2 stopper with his pace and i new that later in the race we could be doing battle again as i was on a 1 stopper. I was in 3rd when i pitted on lap 23 and 4th when i exited. After about lap 32-34 i moved into 3rd spot as i saw Wayne in the pits making his last stop. I new that with about 10 laps to go he would have to push hard to catch and overtake me. I kept driving steady and with a few laps to go the driver who was 30 secs infront of me wasnt there anymore and this put me in 2nd spot where i finished. A good steady race from me and the points that Brian Labode and myself picked up has put Roaldo Racing into the lead in the constructors championship by 1 point.

Comment: What can I say? Quali was fairly good for me- not too bad, not great. Race was bad with engine blowing 2 laps from end. That says it all. Other than that, wrong strategy- 2stopper vs. 1. I probably would've had the pace for the top had I been on the 1 stop strategy- for some reason my engine lacked power after 1st stop and my times just weren't any good. Oh well- championship still open.

Comment: i cant believe it!!!!! My qual was really horrible should have qualed 3rd but hey....i wasnt bothered because i knew my race pace was superb..Anyways because of qual in 6th i chose a 1 stop and had a real good start when the lights went out....straight into 2nd :)
Faisal was a lot slower than me and making mistake after mistake...maybe to much pressure from me being so close????Anyway i went into turn 2 so close that i moved off the line so if fasail braked earlier i would avoid hitting him...but this made me spin into the gravel and i never got out.
My engine blew and so did my temper....
I was very confident of a real good finish here.
All day my race pace has been real good

Onto the next
