Comment: Qualifying was quite surprising, didn't expect so many people to go for the hard tyres so this was one of my easiest pole positions. The start was good and then it was important to make a gap to the drivers on the hard tyres. After my pitstop I caught Morgan, who was on a different strategy but defended like a drunk snail hugging baguette. On the main straight, I was in his slipstream and I went to the right, then Morgan reacted and went to the right aswell to cut me off, so I had to lift off a bit, then he nearly pushed me in the wall. So I had to go back to the left again, but then he braked way too early regardless of his tyres so I couldn't avoid him. It damaged the front of my car which gave me a bit of understeer and a bit less topspeed but it wasn't too bad. After that it was pretty easy, get the car home. Brilliant result for the team. See you next time.

Comment: Quali 2 lap was a pretty good one and 2nd was a good place to start from.
Managed to start good from the dirty side and keep the position, after that it was all about gapping the hard tire runners as much as possible.
After the first pitstop I got out in a bit of a traffic which fortunately was quite easy to clear due to the tire advantage.
In the middle of the 3rd stint I was caught and passed by Morgan but I could pass him back at the end of the stint despite some quite surprising defensive moves.
Pitted exactly at the right time for the last stop and got out barely ahead of Morgan. Due to the tire advantage I was able to build a gap and save the car til the end to take home P2.

Comment: Q : pretty ok.

Race : good start but i got a huge fps drop, i tried to avoid some drivers, which costed me 2 places.
I loose a lot of time in the first stint.
I was very fast in hard, bono came into me and keithley group, i defended ok but bono misjudged that i was on hard ( i brake at 120m ) and hit very hard my rear. The car becomes very tricky 3km/h lost.
I pass the soft, allowed me to pass keithley and kalamees. at the end of the stint, a group ignored blue flags, and allowed kalamees to gain 1s5. during the straight finish line, i went to the left, kalamees hit me when following me ,T1 was ok. but divebombing in the first hairpin in S2. Contact made. I burn my tyres and run 1 lap with killed tyres...
I returned to the box, soft again, but the car is so slow caused by the damages ( front and rear diffuser/ RR suspension ) , which made worst tyre wear, at the end i manage the tyres but again a divebombing of a PM/GTO car, my car becomes totally damaged, fortunaly it was the final lap.

I hope some driver will have huge penalty. THIS is not acceptable, i was racing in a Public server race.
Last year FSR catched me every race for a "dirty" driving which was 2/3x time less than that.
I'm waiting consequences about these drivings, if not, be aware.

Comment: This result was a nice way to end my rFactor career. I didn't feel I had the pace to get into Q2, but I got a lap with sectors together which turned out to be enough. I opted to not run a lap in Q2 in order to save the tires; with hindsight this was a mistake, as many other drivers made big mistakes on their laps.

Starting from P9, I managed to avoid a heavy collision in turn 2. After losing a position early in the race, I managed to pass Lapchin in the opening stint, but still lost a lot of time being stuck in a queue of drivers. Luckily some drivers made mistakes or opted to pit early, which meant I finally got a clear track in sixth place around lap 15.

At this point I tried to put pressure on Kostadinov, but he seemed a bit quicker in the first part of a race. After a mistake of his I just managed to get ahead and keep the gap around 1 seconds, as our pace was virtually identical. The battle got a bit complicated by a couple of backmarkers, but overall it was very enjoyable and I'm quite happy to finish sixth after such a close race. I'm a bit disappointed I got stuck early in the race, as the podium was only 10 seconds away, but this was a good finish nevertheless.

On towards new challenges...

Comment: Q - I haven't tested much Qualify pace and how I expected started from 13th place. But that gave me an advantage to start with new tires.

R - My strategy was with hard tires in first and second stint. After the start everyone ahead of me started equal and I was lucky to avoid all collisions in T1 and T2. I was some strage incident, but now when I checked the replay, I see how Puschke freeze for a momment and then move over my car, which makes my car to jump and I was lucky to not get a damage from that. After that I managed to overtake Saxen, Lapchin, and later and Baldi who made a spin. I knew my race pace is fast enough to fight maybe for top 5, but i need to be consistant in my time. 1st stint was pretty good and pitted in 20-21 lap. I was doing good and made a gap between me and the 6th Saxen, but for my regret made a mistake after T8 and made half-spin. That allowed Saxen to overtake me and to lose the 5th place. Tried to catch him again, but we had similar times and couldn't close him because of downforce in fast-speed corners. After our 2nd pits I putted softs and saw that Patrick is on 5th with hard tires but on 12 secounds ahead of me. We pushed with Saxed how we can but these 5 secounds where I lost in my mistake were the key. I finished 4 sec behind Patrick.

First want to ask from admins, to not give me a warning for late comment, just because I had not time for long comment. At all I am happy from my drive and my final position. That was one track which i hate, but did good and bring home good points. Now I am 3rd in the standing which is amazing. See ya in China.

Comment: Just delighted to bring the car home for another podium as I struggled for pace in testing.

Q2 - pretty happy with the lap on hards, not much grip but everyone else seem to struggle on them too.

the race itself started very well, i got a decent launch and took it easy around T1 and Morgan got mega loose going through T2 and i slipped by and soon after I got by Zipolli and just tried to get my head down and put in some good laps. Eventually Morgan caught back up and I didnt put up too much of a fight as we were on different strategies and I was more concerned with looking after my tyres. Once i got the new boots on just tried to focus again on being consistent and keeping the gaps to where I wanted to be when I would have the softs later on. That all went pretty well and I didnt have any fights of note in the middle stint so when I put on the softs I had a little bit of work to do. Managed to catch up to Patrick and he did his best to try and hold me off but he just didnt have the grip and I got passed pretty quick. I thought that 4th would be as good as I would get but I saw Morgan start to struggle and pushed as hard as I could and caught him in the last corner of the last lap and as far as I am concerned pulled off a good move, I was more than halfway alongside and made the corner and he just turned in in a desperate attempt to hold position but it didnt work and I was delighted to get the last podium spot.

Huge thanks again to the team for a great car and all the encouragement through the race.

Comment: Q1 : 1m29s9, 2 and half tenths away from my best lap, but enough to qualify P2.
Q2 : My wheel problems started here, very laggy. almost 1 second away from my best lap on hard tyres. I qualify P7.
Race : I make a good start but I'm touched from behind by someone who damaged my rear suspension. Then my wheel problems really destroyed my race pace. I made very unconsistent laptimes and lost many many seconds there. Some fine battle with John-Eric and Marcel. P9 in the end, as I managed to finish the race.

Comment: Q1 was better then expected with some late adjustments.

R. Started well and i could follow guys in front. But my topspeed was very bad. It felt like they all had DRS. On the straight i was nothing. Couldn't do anything.
Half a race behind Yanick and i totally couldn;t pass him because of my speed on the straight. I was faster but nothing i could do.
On the softs my wing settings where even worse. Lost so much time and Yanick could get away with it.
On the last lap i had massive wheelspin and slammed the wall and stalled the engine. Cabo was 1 lap behind so no worries and im happy with p10.

Comment: Aupa! To been a race very hard, but it shows that we have taken a step forward, I think we are on the right track and we hope in the next few races to reach points. I regret what happened to my teammate (Alex) a shame that I had a terrific pace. Congratulate the team for their great work underway in its first year and that hopefully we continue to make progress. Also congratulate his enormous career Bono Huis. A greeting and see you in China. Go Psr!

Comment: My race started well and at first corner i gained 2 positions but another time at second corner there was a crash with wings and pieces of car flying and i couldn't avoid them. Car was damaged like as at Melbourne even if the balance was good yet. I was able to stay in the train for some laps then i missed the brake point at first turn and i touched a car in front. Front wing damaged and the car was a bit undeerster. I decided to continue until the first pit where i left 10 sec for car damages. In the second stint i had some good battles with Jasco's drivers and with Peter Varga. Before my second pit Peter tried again an overtake inside me and the pit wall. I saw him flying from mirror and i feared it was for my mistake because i tried to close space beside the wall to take the inside at first turn but he hitted a ghost wall (i'm sorry for his unlucky race end). When i pitted for second time for soft tyres stint i noticed that i haven't got engine to finish, so i decided to drive very smooth trying to recover engine life. Nothing to do engine burned few laps to the end.

Comment: I came to the quali after 3 day of hard work and not much sleep and after rushing much to get to the server in time and to maybe even do 5 laps before quali after some day of no driving. with 1.30.2 I exceeded all my expectations, but it was still not enough for Q2. In the race there were technical issues which led me to jump the start and then stall the engine.
