"Fantastic first race for us! The car was simply perfect and my new hardware helped me a lot. The framerate is now similar like in practise alone, so I can drive similar laptimes in the WC race too. I want to thank everyone in my team, because we really worked on each detail to make this result possible. Thx you!!

In race I had no major problem, just one critical situation in the last stint, where I nearly lost the car due to too cold rear tires. Making slower is really more dangerous than to drive limit all the time. Only worried I was about losing all my practise in T1, but Bruno started bad, so everything went well for me.

Too end, I´m very happy this race is over, because now we will test in 14 days rythm. Bahrrain is even next week already. That´s very good, because that´s the only way to decrease practise. I heard about drivers doing 3000 laps for Malaysia. I was really frustrated about that, because those guys forced me to practise harder too. I mean, yes, it´s a competition, but this is becoming sick, really!! The target to limit practise with limited setups failed completely, because the drivers practising even harder now to find at least a little advantage. I´m happy we won´t have so much time again to prepare for a race. If you ask me, one season should have at least 20 races...

"Very nice race for me. Good qualifying, maybe I could have done better in quali but third isn't bad afterall. Race was even better, I started very well, was second after the first corner and had a fight for the whole race with Bruno Marques. At the end after fights, spins and problems (for Bruno) I finished this first race of the 2007 season in second. Go Roaldo Racing|||"

"3rd place isn't where I am pleased to finish on, but given my brakes died 3 laps to go I am pleased to finish the race even. Roy was too fast for me, I gave it all I could, but he just got away and away. Congrats mate.
I had a very nice race agaisnt David Greco, very strategical, and I got him with 6 laps to go, unfortunately we touched, race incident, no hard feelings. I thought 2nd was finally mine until I slighly felt that my front brakes weren't correct ... indeed it wasn't so I had to settle down with 3rd place. Malaysia is one of my worst tracks, so move onto Bahrain! :)"

"My race was influenced by an accident in first turn. I havent seen it yet, but i got a few hits and car was slighty damaged. So i started 8th after lap 1. I had some nice battles but unfortunately it took a lot of time so 4th place is maximum i could do today after passing Saxen 3 laps before the end of the race. Congrats to Roy and now lets wait for Bahrain next week."

"My qual was pretty good.. expected abit better time but eh P4 is not bad result.
After start i got hit in T1 by Patrick i think... then i was 20th so race was really fun passed 15 guys and got p5 which is good result from me while driving with damage and from the back of the grid. :) cya in bahrain"

"Overall a decent race for me. I had a nice start and managed to climb up to P4 and benefited from mistakes and accidents from De Witt, Binz and Trinka, but unfortunately I simply lacked some raw pace today, so I instead tried to be strategically good in pit stops and in defending my position. That worked out until the last laps, when Kuncman overtook me and I had a contact with him later on, which put me just behind Darius."

"i started 7th was very pleased with that
and after the start i was 5th and for a while even 4th
and then i had great battles with many drivers
and at my last fight with roaldo racing car danny davison i passed him
all 4 wheels locked and i understeered into the corner
but he just gave no room anymore and he knocked me off
not hard but resulting in my spin:(
and that was that pushed to the end but 9th
i think i gonna fill in a complaint against this sorry danny"

"This wasn't really what I'd hoped for when I got the late call to drive. Roy obviously showed what the car was capable off and even if I had been pretty close to his times in testing this was long gone today. I lost some time with a contact in T1 after a car spun in front of me, and subsequently lost more with in pits repairs. Later I was spun around in T2 but could go again almost without losing time. The big excuse though is that I was just too slow. I pushed hard, made no mistakes, but the speed was not there. I had a few nice fights with Marconi and Kiriakopoulos and one not so nice with Binz. Basically his car (connection) was warping alot so it was really dangerous to get close. "

"Did a ok qual, and got the place I at least hoped to get...13th.
I got away to slow in the start as I knowed, since I didnt use the clutch pedal, since if I spinn, I would not be fast enough to press it...but after all a 11 place is ok, in this field, but a little sad I lost one place in the final turn. hehe"

"In the qualifications, everything went as planned. I dealt with the pressure, and did a quite good lap.

The race starting very late, the first laps were hard for everyone. We were a group of 5 cars within 3 seconds, with Marconi in front being a little slower than us but fighting very well for his position.
After passing him, I had a few laps fight with Bengtsson, but he was faster and overtook me nicely.

At the end of each stint, the tyres were becoming really worn and it was so hard to make good times. I also made a little mistake in my final pit-stop and didn't put enough fuel in the tank, so I stopped in the last lap, hopefully it didn't cost any position since Marconi was a lot behind."

"It was all a nightmare for me. In qual i was only 15th 0.8s over my pb.....but it's normal for me to not do the best in I had a good start in race...i was 9th in first lap.....but i had for 15 laps a lot of ghost cars or warping around the track and it was very hard because i didn't know where they were. My pace in race was about 1sec slower than practice...i had massive understeer after 2 laps cause the front red wheels. We need to work on setup.....i'm off road."

"Well, bad first race for me. Qualifying was still okay with me. But we definatly lack speed. On the race, well, it was already over for me in lap 1 / turn 1. I didn't exactly see what happened, but after I got wrecked, both right side tyres were damaged and I had a puncture.

I hope to be faster for Bahrain."

"well really bad start of the season. In qualify my time was pretty bad but it would dificult to get more then 4 or 5 places then race have a pretty good start, going outside in the first corner to avoid incidents but they happen right in front of me but luckly i was able to pass with damage, but in first lap Sergio hit my car when he spun trying to join the track and my car was broken in the suspension and i start to do laps in the 33 and 34 second, couldn´t do better with the damage....i could reach the pit to my first stop and fix the damage but some laps latter my connection go away....well worst then this is dificult

Hope next one goes better"

"Very bad first race for me after all. The Qualifying wasn´t good enough, I made a first stint to make a decent time and all was ok, but my second stint when I was improving I lost the control of the car and have nothing to do.
Starting the race from P16 wasn´t what I expected, but the start was very good and I was on P7 going to the second sector fighting with other drivers when I have the last spin... I touch with my rear right wheel and damage the suspension. When I tryed to come back to the race I lost the control of the car because was undriveable and I touck Joao´s car, im sorry about that.
Nothing more to say, now I know that I have to work very very hard and that´s what im going to do because im very disappointed."
